Continuity Comics
[edit]This is not the Armor comic linked to from Continuity Comics. There was a comic titled Armor, drawn by Neal Adams in the 1980's.

Trivia
[edit]There shouldn't be trivia sections, so I removed it and encorporated the info into the article. The only data I left out is:
- Hisako is 5'4", weighs 112 pounds, has black hair and black eyes.
These facts really should be left to marvel wiki and fan sites. --RossF18 17:37, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Astonishing X-Men (vol 3) -21.jpg
[edit]Image:Astonishing X-Men (vol 3) -21.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Armor (comics) → Armor (character) – per WP:NCCDAB NeoBatfreak (talk) 01:09, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Also, no on Armor (Marvel Comics), to avoid confusion with A.R.M.O.R., a sister organization of S.H.E.I.L.D.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 01:14, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Then again, since Neal Adams had created a fictional comic book character also called Armor, might as well rename this article as Armor (Marvel Comics character).--NeoBatfreak (talk) 07:12, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Also, no on Armor (Marvel Comics), to avoid confusion with A.R.M.O.R., a sister organization of S.H.E.I.L.D.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 01:14, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. Since Armor (Marvel Comics) ["(Marvel Comics)" is intended to describe a character] already redirects to Armor (comics) ["(comics)" is intended to describe a publication], Armor (comics) → Armor (Marvel Comics) would appear to be a proper move, with a hatnote disambiguating it from the A.R.M.O.R. redirect. A nomination pointing in the opposite direction from "(character)" is still active at Talk:Roy Harper (character)#Requested move 18 November 2020.
- Another possibility, as indicated by entries under Category:Marvel Comics female superheroes would be Armor (Hisako Ichiki) per such characters as Black Widow (Natasha Romanova), White Tiger (Kasper Cole), Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Nocturne (Talia Wagner) or Spider-Girl (Mayday Parker). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 17:45, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- I would go with Armor (Hisako Ichiki). Marvel Comics has a substantial tradition of characters wearing armor (see, e.g., Iron Man's armor), so the most precise title would be the one including the character's name. BD2412 T 00:01, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed--NeoBatfreak (talk) 16:45, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed. Firestar464 (talk) 11:23, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
- Move to Armor (Marvel Comics character) as a minimum necessary to distinguish this from other characters and general use of armor in the comics. The character's name (as Armor (Hisako Ichiki)) is probably not RECOGNIZABLE enough and is a form we usually only use when multiple characters use the same moniker. -- Netoholic @ 12:05, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
- Use Armor (Marvel Comics character) per Netoholic, and repoint the current title (comic) and redirect (Marvel Comics) to the disambiguation page, where all comics topics should be listed/added including A.R.M.O.R. -- 67.70.26.89 (talk) 21:52, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Move to Armor (Marvel Comics character) Avoids using "comics" for disambiguation. The name of the character is probably not needed, as there are no other notable Marvel characters using this alias. Dimadick (talk) 16:11, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
