I redirected Cunegundes to here. It was clear the articles were on the same person that this article: 1. Was older 2. Had more information 3. Had more links

I merged the unique information from the other article into this one --Cje 19:04, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Canonization date disputed

[edit]

Premodern Canonization lists this saint as Cunegunde, and has her canonized on 1200-04-03, not 1200-03-29 as stated in the article. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 03:01, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A response to Davidwr seven years later. Better late than never! There are indeed sources that state both dates. See these results for 3 April and these for 29 March. Surtsicna (talk) 09:24, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Heilige Kunigunde von Luxemburg

[edit]

Saint Cunigunde is known as Heilige (ge:Saint) Kunigunde von Luxemburg in German. I was in Bamberg from 1981 to 1987 (US Army) and visted her sarcophagus in the Bamberger Dom (cathedral) several times. This name is also used in the photograph description here in the english article (qv). See also: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunigunde_von_Luxemburg. The german article is much better and more concise. Don't bother with the Google translator, it is outrageously inaccurate to the point of being laughable. If you can't read german fetch someone who is German to read it to you. Tjlynnjr (talk) 10:52, 17 March 2014 (UTC) .[reply]
