He is was not found guilty

Peony987 (talk)Most of the information on the main page is NOT CORRECT. He was NOT found guilty and the claims are WRONG —Preceding undated comment added 06:19, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined. The article had been vandalised, and I have restored the pre-vandalism version; but the sources cited such as this confirm that he was convicted and sentenced. JohnCD (talk) 09:40, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

This article was tagged for notability and PRODded. I've removed both. The subject was the topic of a 3-page New York Magazine article, as indicated in the article, and GNews has dozens of additional articles about him. You might be able to make an argument that this is a WP:BLP1E, but notability seems clear to me. Pburka (talk) 02:48, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion

[edit]

I just removed two tags to CSD this article. The first, G7, is invalid as the article was not blanked. The second, generic CSD, I have removed as this article survived a PROD. If you think this article really needs to go, AfD it. BirdbrainedPhoenix (talk) 17:27, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alt names

[edit]

Hi FRF. This source refers to him as "Andre" and another had "Andy" (though I think that one was removed as related content was deemed irrelevant). It doesn't really add much to the article so I'm not worried either way but I thought I should clear that up. Cheers, Stlwart111 23:33, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Stalwart111: Ah, OK. Someone wrote to OTRS asking that we remove that (saying only that it was "wrong" with no more details). I thought it was one of those "I wish to disappear" kind of arguments but it might have been someone who saw that coming up on a Google search or something like that. Still, the source is a blog so it might not be reliable - in any case if you're good with omitting it then I guess we're good :) §FreeRangeFrogcroak 23:38, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, we're good. Yes, it's hosted on a blog but it's a re-print of a US Dept. of Homeland Security press release so I included it. There were concerns that the original version of the article was an attack page that didn't include subsequent community work so when I found that I thought it helped to provide some balance. Including the other names was an afterthought and I have no objection at all if someone thinks they should be removed, especially as a result of an OTRS request. Deletion

[edit]

Please delete post. The information on it is incorrect and it is causing undue emotional hardship to the individual in question.— Preceding unsigned comment added by MaryK6754 (talkcontribs) 18:03, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The deletion template goes on the article page, not the talk page. We do not normally delete talk pages without also deleting the associated article page. SpinningSpark 19:20, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
