EGKC Bognor Regis

[edit]

I am deleting from the list EGKC - Bognor Regis Airport, on the grounds that I can find no trace of it in official publications or reputable aviation websites. I have found a mention at pplmania.com [1], but that is just ICAO code and name. Also, ukga.com [2] has a page, but gives no details at all, probably because there aren't any. Other authoritative sites agree that EGKC is currently not allocated. Emeraude 16:55, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

EGKC Bognor Regis can be found on the 2010 ICAO list ECCAIRS 4.2.8 Data Definition Standard: Location Indicators by State. cagliost (talk) 16:58, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
However by 2021 it does not appear on the NATS UK list. There was an RAF Bognor but it no longer exists. (It is not the same as the LEC Airfield used today by Bognor Regis Gliding Club.) cagliost (talk) 17:17, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am restoring EGKC to the list. I have just created LEC Airfield. They claim that EGKC applies to them. Like Fowlmere, it doesn't appear in the UK AIP, but it does appear in that 2010 ICAO list. It seems that LEC Airfield is EGKC Bognor Regis. See also discussion here, particularly the mention of the gas holder, which can be seen here. cagliost (talk) 10:07, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
