Speedy deletion rationale[edit]

Since it's sourced, I know it's not exactly a G10/attack of the speedy criteria, but I'm electing to be on the safe side and using some common sense. It's clear that the sole reason for the creation of this biography of a living person is to disparage the subject. Regardless of the local sources, I wanted to blank it out.

If I'm mistaken, feel free to unblank and then I'll take to article for deletion. Thanks. --CutOffTies (talk) 00:14, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Charles L. Jones ia notable subject, as the story has been followed no only in local media, but national media. The page is sourced and referenced, therefore it should remain. Both sides of the story is being represented here, and further information is being added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freemount9373 (talkcontribs) 00:19, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted because Charles L. Jones is a notable person. This page is not an attack page and list references for all information--Freemount9373 (talk) 00:16, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, this page was just recently created, and more information is being added, including the public statements of it's subject.--Freemount9373 (talk) 00:22, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

Cutoffties: Please suggest what you would like to see in the lead.--Freemount9373 (talk) 00:28, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest reading the guideline on the lead section, but I left another message on your talk page that you probably want to read first.. I don't think the article should about Jones, it should be about an event. --CutOffTies (talk) 00:35, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Title of article[edit]

Since it seems to be heading in the direction of being about the event rather a bio of a living person, we're trying to decide on an appropriate title. Discussion is @v User talk:Freemount9373. Thanks --CutOffTies (talk) 01:11, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Changed the title for Freemount9373. Cheers--ClassyMissy (talk) 04:38, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The video[edit]

Should the video be added to the article, or a link to the video? Being as it was what caused the controversy in the first place, I would think it should be. Opinions?--Freemount9373 (talk) 03:35, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
