A few suggestions
By tradition, when an editor posts to your talk page it is assumed you have read it if you delete it. Generally, it's preferable to archive talk pages but there's no policy against deleting posts. If you want help with that, I can copy over the template that I use.
My next point will be about reliable sources. Please read the link that I have added here carefully about sourcing. Poor sourcing can lead to an article being deleted through the article for deletion process. Also, I notice that you had some copyright warnings. You must not copy the text from any source and post it to Wikipedia. This puts the foundation in legal danger of being sued for violating copyright by the publishers of the original text. Use the text but rewrite it in your own words. This also leads into two other things to be careful of, which is original research and synthesis of sources. Wikipedia is not for the publishing your own research nor are you permitted to take sources and create your own view point of the material.
Finally, I will point you to the policy on disruptive editing. A very large number of editors have been blocked for violating this policy. Most usually get the point after 1 or 2 blocks, but repeated violations of it by some editors have c aused them to be blocked indefinitely and some have been banned permanenetly from Wikipedia. Please read this link very carefully to avoid the same fate.
Hopefully, that might clear up some of the issues you have been experiencing. I won't be offended if you delete this message as I will assume you have read it, but I sincerely hope that you have a read through the links that I have pointed to otherwise you will be in for a very difficult time here. No consensus for article rename
Your move of Mother Teresa to the new name of Mother Teresa of Calcutta had no prior discussion and no consensus, so I have reverted it. I would suggest that you read Wikipedia:Requested moves and also WP:DE and please discuss potentially controversial actions and edits before making them. Elizium23 (talk) 14:52, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Hi Abitoby, can you please explain, why you moved the article Durga Puja in Orissa to Durga Puja in West Bengal? and before replying please read the article thoroughly atleast once. Thanking you. --Mrutyunjaya Kar (talk) 06:52, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi Abitoby, please don't move pages without discussion as you did in Sagarika. If you think the page needs to move then start a discussion on talk page. Thanks. Torreslfchero (talk) 13:25, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Kolkata image additions
Thanks for your additions of the images to Kolkata, some are really good I must accept. However, it being a Featured Article it is essential to maintain certain standards and quality. If you wish to add any image, it need to be discussed at Talk:Kolkata first, then after receiving consensus, such additions might be considered. Amartyabag TALK2ME 16:50, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Acting President of India
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Acting President of India. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Vice President of India. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Vice President of India – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Suri 100 (talk) 01:01, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Jeet Gannguli. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. 09:18, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
I just wanted to let you know that while adding images to an article is usually okay (though you have to be careful not to add too many), on featured articles, it's usually best to ask first on the talk page, since image review is one of the aspects of the FA review process. This is especially true on India, which is the most viewed FA, and on which pictures have long been contentious, and it's really important that we get consensus first before changing or adding them--we really have to be careful not to overemphasize certain things. So you are welcome to propose adding those pics on the talk page if you want. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:32, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 02:16, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Amartyabag. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Kolkata because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Kindly note image addition in a Featured article should generally be made after a discussion. The image added by you has unclear copyright notices and missing Metadata/EXIF info. Amartyabag TALK2ME 14:30, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- You also need to turn down your peacock prose. Describing something as "a beauty" is not encyclopedic. --NeilN talk to me 16:18, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
Hi! Thanks for creating the article on KMOMA. I have recently observed that you are overcategorising the articles. It is perfect to add only the most relevant sub-categories and not use the main category in the article. For example, for KMOMA, there is no need to add the category "Kolkata", adding "Museums in Kolkata" is enough, as the later is sub-cat of the former. Use common sense while adding the categories. For sake of simplicity, use the most relevant sub-category you can find. Let me know, if you need any further assistance or help. Amartyabag TALK2ME 06:43, 23 December 2013 (UTC)
One of your user pages, by reason of its contents, was accidentally included in a content category. It has been corrected for you. For information about this, please see the guidelines about the categorization of user pages. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 15:36, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Amartyabag TALK2ME 06:32, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
I would request you to kindly go through the manual on naming geographic names of places Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names). For your convenience, until an unless there are two places having similar names, there is no need for adding the state name to the name of the place. Even in certain cases, for example, Durgapur, where there are multiple places with similar names, the place which will be the most popular (primary article) may be used without any disambiguation. I will request you not to move the articles which does not need any kind of disambiguation. If you feel a set of article need to be renamed or moved, use Wikipedia:Requested moves instead. I would also request to undo the wrong moves you have made. Kindly note that mass moving of articles without consensus may be considered as vandalism and the administrators may take appropriate measures including blocking you. If you have any kind of questions or confusion, drop me a message at my talk page. Amartyabag TALK2ME 06:54, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
Use correct Infobox
I was going through the article on WBHIDCO, where I observed that you have used a wrong infobox. To find out the correct infobox, you can either find an article with similar topic or please find a relevant infobox from Wikipedia:List of infoboxes. Please let me know if you are facing any problem in editing the articles. Amartyabag TALK2ME 07:10, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
Please stop assuming ownership of articles. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive and could lead to edit wars and personal attacks, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is not acceptable. Again, these are not your articles. NeilN talk to me 05:29, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks for the message you left at User talk:184.108.40.206#Kolkata Eye. I have provided edit summaries for all my edits - for more details, see Kolkata Eye: Revision history. Please use Talk:Kolkata Eye to discuss any edits you don't understand or don't agree with.
May I suggest that you review the following:
- User talk:Abitoby#A few suggestions, which contains excellent advice

- WP:Subcategorization (per User talk:Abitoby#KMOMA)
- WP:Edit summary (per User talk:Abitoby#WP:FIES)
- WP:Explain reverts
Please see also my previous message at User talk:Abitoby#February 2014, which you deleted without comment .
I noticed a lot of edits to your talk page from 220.127.116.11. Since you didn't revert these changes I can only assume you're editing logged out. Please be careful while you edit logged out that you don't create confusion about who you are. Chris Troutman (talk) 17:27, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Ramakrishna Mission, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter.
PLEASE review User_talk:Abitoby#Overcategorization, which you deleted without comment User talk:Abitoby#KMOMA (above) and WP:Subcategorization, as already suggested in User talk:Abitoby#Kolkata Eye (above)., in which several other editors brought this issue to your attention. Please also review
You MUST NOT place pages in both a category and a subcategory or parent category of that category, for example as you did when you placed Ramakrishna Mission in both Category:History of Bengal and its subcategory Category:History of West Bengal . This applies regardless of whether you are logged in or not. Thanks. 18.104.22.168 (talk) 20:06, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Sudhi Ranjan Das while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address by one person. If this was not your intention, then please always remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Ugog Nizdast (talk) 19:31, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Vin09. Your recent edit to the page Telangana appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Vin09 (talk) 07:15, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. DMacks (talk) 07:52, 29 March 2015 (UTC)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Presidents of Cricket Association of Bengal
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Presidents of Cricket Association of Bengal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please note that titles are supposed to be in sentence case, not like https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kolkata_flyover_collapse&type=revision&diff=713998026&oldid=713958856, I've moved the article again and fixed it. --QEDK (T ☕ C) 03:53, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
RV'ed your redirect
Hi Abitoby. I reverted your redirect of Bengal to West Bengal, but put this as an item on the talk page for the article for discussion. Just wanted to let you know. Cheers, OtterAM (talk) 17:59, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of List of shopping malls in West Bengal
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of shopping malls in West Bengal for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:59, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
