Cartoon Userboxes

[edit]

I don't know if you are in to Userboxes, but I created a few specialized ones on my userpage.

If you want to use any of these boxes on your userpage, just type in the syntax codes you see when you press the "edit this page" button. I saw that my CL userbox has caught on a bit, as Djf2014 has it on his userpage. Maybe you'll like these too! =D --Jeremie@theLab 04:32, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS: Got your message and replied to it on my talk page. --Jeremie@theLab 04:34, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Those userboxes look excellent on your userpage. Thumbs up! ;D. --Jeremie@theLab 14:53, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I was wondering something. Do you think that, in BITP, Odd should fall in love with Sissi? --User:Angie Y.

Well, at first I didn't think that the OddxSissi shipping was real. But apparently some episodes hinted at that and that's good enough for me. By all means, make Sissi hit on Odd or vice versa. That could actually provide for some funny backstory to defray the nerves of the Kadic fire. Ulrich would probably be relieved and the reaction of Hervé would be priceless. MAKE THEM FALL IN LOVE! --Jeremie@theLab 15:35, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ya really think so? How should we make that occur? --User:Angie Y.

It shouldn't be that tricky. Have Sissi get trapped in VERY tough spot during the fire (think extreme, like the clock tower on the Administrative Wing. Don't know how she would get there, but it's a good thought), and then have Odd enter in a blaze of flamming glory (so to speak) and save the damsel in distress. To drive home the point, have Ulrich run away to Natsumi in Sissi's plain view. The combination of Odd's rescue and Ulrich's desertion should be enought to hit off a relationship between Odd and Sissi, or at least drive Sissi to start hitting on Odd. (Also, have Hervé try to save Sissi, but fail horribly so that she ends up hating him more when he makes advances). --Jeremie@theLab 15:48, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nice! Like how Odd saved Samantha in Rock Bottom? --User:Angie Y.

Basically yes, although Odd needed Ulrich's help for that rescue (remember Ulrich karate-kicking in the locked door? Awesome scene). In this case, you'll have to devise a scenario in which Odd can do all the heroics himself without aid. I can help you if you like :). --Jeremie@theLab 18:56, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing! =D You can help!

Oh, by the way, I made the "Cold War" episode article. --User:Angie Y.

Really! Thanks for that! I hadn't gotten around to the episodes in a while. I'll go check it out. --Jeremie@theLab 20:44, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you made an introduction and that was a pretty good stab at it, but you kind of left out the Summary, Recap, Memorable Quotes, Trivia, Next Episode, and See also sections. I'm not saying that your work is bad, indeed that was a great introduction, but the article isn't even close to being "done" in the true sense of the word. Are you still writing it? --Jeremie@theLab 20:49, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm leaving it open so you can finish it. --User:Angie Y.

Ah! I get it! I will have that finished momentarily. --Jeremie@theLab 21:43, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How're the pictures coming? --User:Angie Y.

I have finished everything up until the picture where XANA attacks Natsumi. I was planning on setting up my new account on DA tonight :).--Jeremie@theLab 02:46, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. My email is britestarangie@aol.com if you want to send the link to your account to me by email. --User:Angie Y.

All right. I think I figured out what is going wrong here. I never get my confirmation emails, so I never get the activation links, so I never get to do anything on my account. That's a problem. I might need to reconfigure my email, or DA is too lazy to send me the message. If that's the case, I could be waiting for a while :( --24.48.198.87 03:28, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can send the pictures to me by email, then. --User:Angie Y.

Got it. --Jeremie@theLab 15:40, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can't wait to see them. --User:Angie Y.

They're coming, don't worry! I'm writing this at 1:00 AM so I can't do much about it, but perhaps tomorrow or Friday you'll get at least the first picture. I know this is going to sound like another excuse, but I'm very truthful. My Canon printer/scanner DIED! Curse you Canon Corporation! I hope you and your shoddy products are bought by MoonScoop! --Jeremie@theLab 05:01, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Code Lyoko Characters...Religious?

[edit]

Do you think that any of the main characters from Code Lyoko are adherents of any religion? I've been giving this matter some thought, and I've arrived at the following almost-but-not-quite-conclusions.

  • Jeremie: Atheist?
  • Aelita: Agnostic or Indifferent?
  • Yumi: Shinto or Amida Buddhist?
  • Odd: Roman Catholic?
  • Ulrich: Luteran or Roman Catholic?

Now, my reasons for these almost-but-not-quite conclusions

  • Jeremie: Call me stereotypical, but Jeremie seems like the braniac science-loving logician who is ready to sit down and give you 10 reasons why God doesn't exist.
  • Aelita: She got her memory purged by XANA, so she has no idea as to what God or religion is, at least until her memories are restored. After that it's hard to say. She remembers up to being (what, 12 years old?) she could have been brought up in a Roman Catholic or Huguenot Church, but I bet her mother would have done that. Franz Hopper seems like an atheist. I should know this scenario. My mom raised me on church while my dad played no part in religion.
  • Yumi: She's from Japan, so you'd think her family would be adherents of a Japanese religious sect such as native Shintoism or the imported Amida Buddhism. They could possibly be Christians descended from survivors of the Ieysu massacres, but I've yet to see a crucifix in their home.
  • Odd: He's Itallian and Italy is where the Vatican is. There aren't too many choices when it comes to Itallian religion.
  • Ulrich: He's from Germany, the land the brough forth Martin Luther. He could have been raised on Lutheranism or he could have been raised on Germany's other predominate religion, Roman Catholicism.

At the same time, I should raise the point that CL, in general, seems very atheistic in persuasion. I've never seen a church (or any other worship structure, for that matter), no characters has professed religious faith, and they don't even say "OMG" (except for once in Garage Kids). The only references to Christianity were "Christmas" and "Saint Valentines Day."

I don't know Angie. What do you think of all this? --Jeremie@theLab 04:55, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa. All of that is too hard for me to sink in. Jeremie certainly acts like he's atheist, Aelita died and rose again... yup, all too hard for me to sink in. Though I can imagine Yumi practicing Shinto (think Rei Hino), I don't think this concept has been addressed. --User:Angie Y.

CL seems to have a religious vaccuum of sorts anyway. France itself has declined from its Christian roots (as well as most of Western Europe) and is going atheist. I actually saw a news broadcast on CBS where a former Roman Catholic woman from France said "Breaking away from the Church is like growing up." Instead of going to church, she goes shopping. Anyway, sorry that I couldn't phrase this easier. I actually delayed sending you this for five days in order to figure out a simplified organization of my findings. Although, you brought up a parallel I hadn't noticed. Aelita died and rose again, much like Jesus Christ did. Of course, Aelita skipped the three-day waiting period thanks to Franz Hopper ;) --Jeremie@theLab 01:27, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And Aelita as a kindergartener was so cuuuuute! =D Just like Natsumi! --User:Angie Y.

I heartily agree. The creators effectively made Aelita to tug peoples' heartsrings (didn't you just want to cry when the French Secret Police raided The Hermitage, and then when XANA killed her?). I like Aelita as a preteen, but as a little kid she was so heartwarmingly innocent. That is why "Mister Pück" was my favorite episode. That episode had so much action and tragedy and Aelita getting the snot beat out of her that it could appease any fan. But the most touching aspect of that installment was the very end. It was so peaceful and serene to have Aelita finally sleep normally with the doll in her hands. The last words of the episode were so heartwarming and uplifting and innocent. ("Come on Mister Pück. Let's go for a walk in the garden"). Yes, I'm obsessing, but it was so wonderful I left the TV set feeling uplifted. Innocent Aelita is so wonderful a character. --Jeremie@theLab 01:54, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah.

Hey, there's a fanfic that you have to see!

New and Improved by JediGeneral.

--User:Angie Y.

Now there's a fanfic I wasn't expecting. The minute I read about the javelin hitting the Krabe I knew that a new member had joined, but I didn't expect Sissi, and then later on Jim! It adds a great twist to the story, and having William lurking as that back character...this makes for good conflict. This fanfic is clearly hitting on the OddxSissi shipping, and doing a good job of it. Sissi has become completely reformed! I wonder what happened to her gang though... --Jeremie@theLab 03:07, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have no clue. You wanna help? The author and I are writing this together, and we need all the help we can get. --User:Angie Y.

Of course I can help! Um...do I need to make another account on FanFiction.net? If it's another one of those "we'll send you an email where you need to activate the account" deals, I'm out of luck until my email is fixed. But I can make suggestions. --Jeremie@theLab 03:16, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Go ahead. I have to get going for tonight. Reading all these articles on sleep is making me wanna do just that tonight. --User:Angie Y.

Sleeping is overrated for me. I can go on four hours a night. Anyway, it's just my luck that FanFiction.Net has email verification. This is the straw that breaks the camel's back. My ISP is going to fix my email tomorrow weather they want to or not. Good night! --Jeremie@theLab 03:26, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

LyokoFreak

[edit]

Angie, are any of the voice actors still posting on LF? I was planning on joining the site at the start of Season 3, but if VAs are still skulking around in this INTERMINABLE VOID BETWEEN SEASONS 2 AND 3, then I could probably join...in a week or so. Tell me who's posting, if anyone. --Jeremie@theLab 04:28, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I figured as much, sorry if that message kept you awake. --Jeremie@theLab 15:34, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's okay. --User:Angie Y.

The pictures

[edit]

Sorry if this is getting repetitive but how are the pictures coming? --User:Angie Y.

An artist must take his time, but I'm assuming that there is a power greater than you that is pestering for these drawings. I'm done with everything up to Natsumi getting attacked by XANA, and I'm trying to get started on the others. Trouble is, I've got crushing Summer reading assignments for British Literature and I'll be gone to New Mexico for two weeks starting next Friday. It's hard for me to find free time, but I'll start on the next set of drawings tomorrow. My mom told me to skip church so I've got some gained time. --Jeremie@theLab 03:06, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for pestering you. See, I have high-functioning autism, and obsession is unfortunately one of the symptoms.

Also, KFan just sent me a letter.--User:Angie Y.

You don't have to apologize for that. I really don't care who has which disease. We're all people here, right? That's all that matters to me. :)
I'm a bit afraid to ask, but, what could KFan possibly want to say to you? Last time I talked to him he called you an "enemy" of Code WIKI. Please tell me this letter isn't a personal attack. --Jeremie@theLab 15:15, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He's apologizing. But the damage has been done. It's gonna take more than that for me to even CONSIDER forgiving him! --User:Angie Y.

I don't blame you, especially considering what he called you in his banishment message on his talk page. I wonder why he wanted to kiss and make-up though. He doesn't seem to be that kind of guy. What would he have to do to get you back? How about a complete reconstruction of The Realm of Lyoko, vandalism protection and staff coffee mugs with out names printed on them? :) --Jeremie@theLab 20:53, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. --User:Angie Y.

Well, before anything happens, I'd like to ask you a comparitive question:
1: How happy were you while you worked wit KFan?
2: How happy have you been being banned?
If you ever felt distinctly happier during one of these periods, that should affect your decision. If you were happy working with KFan, you might consider (but not necessarily) acqueisce his request. If you were more happy the other way, you might want to continue ignoring him. Only you can answer this question, but you might want to think on it. I'm only trying to help you out here. ;) --Jeremie@theLab 01:35, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not very happy with him. He acts like a jackass either way. --User:Angie Y.

If you feel that strongly about him, I recommend that you just don't even consider reentering his service. Besides, I get a distinct impression about KFan. He seems only to apologize when his long term interests are suited to it. I think he wants you back for some reason. I don't know what it is, but he probably wants more punching socks. I find him to act nice towards other users to draw them into his wiki. Once they are there, beyond the help of Wikipedia, he can do whatever he pleases with them. You can see this with bishops in the Middle Ages, they almost always did something righteous when their interests would benefit. My advice: Ignore KFan and move on. --Jeremie@theLab 02:32, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I will. --User:Angie Y.

You'll probably be happy that you did. In fact, your banishment was probably a blessing in disguise. Apparently a terrorist group calling itself "The Roman Empire" led by a shadowy "Emperor Octavian" has declared war on most wikis on editthis.info, including Code: WIKI. It's given every wiki a month to surrender to their control or else The Roman Empire's allies will crush them. It's probably a bunch of blowhards operating out of a technology college, but at least you and I can observe the battles from afar. --Jeremie@theLab 02:50, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

LOL! And we raspberry in KFan's face.

ATTENTION: Odd will get kissed by Sissi in the third season! =D --User:Angie Y.

I'm sorry, but what does "LOL" stand for? I keep seeing it around on the talk pages but I can't figure it out! I know that "BTW" is "By the way," etc. But I can't figure out LOL!
I got the kissing message, and here it is. --Jeremie@theLab 14:45, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

LOL means Laugh Out Loud, silly. ^_^ --User:Angie Y.

Yes, I am such a silly aren't I? I wonder how Codelyoko.net came by that piece of information. It's mainly a fan site isn't it? Wait...I read somewhere that Sophie Decorisette, head of writing for CL, contributes to that site. Do you think she spilled the beans? It seems like she could get fired for that, but then again she's such an asset to MoonScoop they probably wouldn't care if she gave away some small details, so long as the big picture isn't ruined. --Jeremie@theLab 16:40, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. --User:Angie Y.

Season 3 Estimates?

[edit]

Up until now, I think that Code Lyoko is bit "local." What I mean is that we never see beyond the characters' city. XANA always attacks the school, and sometimes the city. But we know nothing about the country, etc.

Undoubtedly, XANA will continue to attack the kids, but since he's free he can now do A LOT more. Do you think that his plots will get more ambitious and he will start attacking real-world cities and innocents? I'd love to see an episode where XANA blows up the Eiffel Tower, as cliche as that would seem.

What do you think about the next seasons? --Jeremie@theLab 02:29, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I dunno. First off, let's consider the facts we know. XANA escaped from the supercomputer, Aelita has her memories of her previous life back... --User:Angie Y.

That's a good start. Since XANA is free he'll obviously have more power (think of Agent Smith in The Matrix). Since Aelita's memories are back it will probably be interesting to see what else she knows. She vividly remembers her parents and the attack on The Hermitage by the Secret Police, but the writers might explore her psyche a lot more closely. And then of course we always have Sissi and Odd's new shipping to look forward to. :) --Jeremie@theLab 15:22, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What do you think of Sissi and Jim joining the group in "New and Improved"? --User:Angie Y.

I really liked that. Her anti-gravity powers are awesome, as well as the costume and javelin. She's a great addition to the team in "New and Improved." I look forward to the next chapters. --Jeremie@theLab 17:11, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies

[edit]

Angie, I'm sorry but for the weeks between August 4 (this Friday) and August 18 I'll be in New Mexico on vacation. I won't have access to Wikipedia from there, so I won't be available for two weeks. Sorry! Regardless, feel free to leave me as many messages as you want. Checking Wikipedia will be the first thing I do when I get back. By the way, Djf2014 told KFan that you want to go back to Code WIKI. Is that true? I'm not angry or anything, but I thought you said you would ignore KFan from now on. Is this slander? --Jeremie@theLab 17:24, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is an ultimate slander offense! I DID NOT say that I wanted to go back! That is a TOTAL fabrication. --User:Angie Y.

I'd tell KFan about that, and then give Djf2014 a good smacking for his lies. I don't have anything against that guy, but he is a bit zealous sometimes. --Jeremie@theLab 18:02, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
P.S.: Finished Deja Vu's episode recap :).

Thanks for that! I LOVE that episode, because I love OddxSissi. --User:Angie Y.

I figured. Your welcome. :) --Jeremie@theLab 12:06, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ya think they'll fall in love by the third season? --User:Angie Y.

Well, Odd certainly acted disarmed when he realized he had fallen in love with Sissi over the Internet. Despite his denial, there might just be something between those two. I wouldn't be surprised if they do eventually fall in love, but knowing the writers they would probably want that to be an evolving backplot that plays out over many episodes, not just happening all of a sudden. What do you think? --Jeremie@theLab 14:25, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea. --User:Angie Y.

Code: New Mexico

[edit]

I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! No need to worry Angie, I'm back in Connecticut after almost 2 weeks in the New Mexican mountains. Wow, the southern rockies are steep and it isn't very warm up there, but oh well! I'm back and ready to compute. So much has changed here since I was gone. A new user just contacted me and I'm EXCITED to make a new friend! When you want to talk, give me a holler. I'll be here. :) --Jeremie@theLab 05:57, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Welcome back! I'm sad to report, however, that deviantART has had an unfortunate layout change. Now I don't know how many favorite pics I have. --User:Angie Y.

Ouch, sorry about DA. I hate it when websites alter their layout. It creates confusion. That's why I stopped using Candystand.com. It seemed like everytime I went there it had a new layout and I couldn't find anything. Hey, have you met Aelita@Lyoko yet? --Jeremie@theLab 17:57, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to have put this comment mistakenly on the article talk page - perhaps you were intending it for a particular user or another article? I moved it here so you can find the right home for it. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 16:39, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some confusions...I have a few questions that have very confusing areas.
  1. Did the "spoiled brat" archetype originate in England, and did the "wealthy person" music originate there as well?
--User:Angie Y.

New and Improved

[edit]

Hey Angie. I just read the new chapters of "New and Improved." You and Matt R. are doing a stellar job at this TV remake. That was some awesome action in Carthage. I'm supposing that eventually Samantha and William become team players. May I make some suggestions?

  • I think it would be cool if you gave the name of the school Samantha came from. I suggest that you name it after a famous figure in French history. Try "Collegé Mitterrand" for example, named after one of France's former presidents who was known amongst his peoples as "The Sphinx." You could even use that nickname as a slang term the other students use for their school (i.e. "I go to The Sphinx Junior High").
  • Have XANA materialized an army of his biggest monsters. I'm talking about Krabes, Tarantulas and Megatanks spilling out of the factory and into the cities.
  • Have XANA's materialized monster change targets. I'm tired of the school and the factory always getting wasted in the series and fanfictions. Have the monster go on a destruction rampage through Boulogne-Billancourt, blow up some big office buildings, a TV tower, whatever and then, have the monster pick up a large center of human movement to the west. Namely, Versailles Palace. I think it would great to read about tourists running away from huge monsters blowing up a landmark. If you don't like Versailles, have them strike Paris instead. Hit the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Pantheon and the Louvre Museum.
  • Add another antagonist. After XANA's monsters blow up sizeable portions of the Paris metropolitan area, have the French government start an investigation into the source of the monsters. They'll search all the likely suspects: the Middle East, Asia, the Soviet bloc, etc. but when they turn up nothing on terrorists they'll search their own nation. Have the DCPJ (France's FBI) start peeping around the country and have them close to the Factory. Even better, have William discover the secret and tip off the DCPJ. Team Lyoko's biggest fear is having the authorities discover their secret. Having the DCPJ discover Lyoko would add a most excellent twist.
  • Name two DCPJ agents. Use French names. I suggest Agent Collet and Agent Vache, for example.
  • Focus more on the Team Lyoko charter members. I'm talking about Ulrich and Yumi. I feel as if they are background characters in this whole story and they shouldn't be. The stories of Odd, Sissi and Jim are great, but they shouldn't be told at the cost of Ulrich and Yumi.

Now, these are just suggestions. You can reject them, but I since you and Matt R. are expanding on the CL creators' character list, etc, I think these additions would really help your story. --Jeremie@theLab 20:27, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you can illustrate this story too! =D --User:Angie Y.

Maybe, I'll have to think about it. Drawing is a lot of work. --Jeremie@theLab 21:04, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. It is. I really hope you get those BITP pics up soon. I wanna see your style. =DDDDDDD --User:Angie Y.

What's your email again? Sorry I forgot. I can send you a couple of my completed drawings. --Jeremie@theLab 21:10, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

britestarangie@aol.com --User:Angie Y.

Thanks for the suggestions, Jeremie@theLab. Angie and I really like them, and I plan on incorporating some, if not all of them into the story. Oh, and thanks for reminding me about Ulrich and Yumi. I had been kinda ignoring them, I'm infatuated with Sissi and Odd, obviously. --Jedi General

No problem. I'm really looking forward to your finished product. I'll be checking into FanFiction.net from time to time to see your progress. This should get exciting. :D --Jeremie@theLab 19:11, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And I'm looking forward to yours. ;) --User:Angie Y.

Hi there: I had tagged this article for speedy delete, but on reading the history removed the tag. But if you are going to write an article it is important that you write enough text to avoid early deletion.--Anthony.bradbury 00:22, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How's it Coming?

[edit]

How's "New and Improved" coming along? I read that you and Jedi General are incorporating a lot of my ideas. I look forward to seeing them in print. Did this sudden incorporation delay postage? When does the next chapter hit a computer near me? Just wondering. :) --Jeremie@theLab 01:00, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The next chapter will hit a computer near you. And we may not incorporate all your suggestions, but we're getting there. --User:Angie Y.

Yeah, it did delay postage somewhat because I'm rethinking the next chapter due to your suggestions. Don't worry, though. I'll post up the next chapter soon. --User:Jedi General

We'd better. I kinda hate cliffhangers. --User:Angie Y.

Sorry for being presumptuous about the ideas. I'll check FanFiction.net periodically to see what's going on. Besides, cliffhangers are dislikeable but at least they generate interest in the upcoming installments. That's what all great television series do with their season finales. Look at CL. We've been in a giant cliffhanger since "The Key"! --Jeremie@theLab 15:39, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. --User:Angie Y.
Oh? What does that mean? :D --Jeremie@theLab 18:51, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind. --User:Angie Y.
That's okay. I don't mind. --Jeremie@theLab 19:51, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just hope Season 3 will be a great season like they're saying it will be. --User:Angie Y.

I have no doubt that it will be and...are you down or something? You don't seem as happy as you usually are. --Jeremie@theLab 21:38, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, for one thing, I'm being as patient as I possibly can on the pictures, but Blueyedblonde apparently has school to deal with now. --User:Angie Y.

Chin up! I got another drawing done today. Soon as I can get my wireless print network to scan you'll have not 1, not 2, but 7 drawings to browse. As for the fanfiction, I read Chapter 10. Superb. I actually thought people were going to die. You two mention trapped kids. My favorite quote would be "He had been a fire fighter for a mere week...though he'd rather not talk about it." Nice continuation of CL's resident running gag. =D. --Jeremie@theLab 02:31, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. And thanks for the heads-up on the art. --User:Angie Y.

You're welcome. I actually finished another one last night and colored it in this afternoon. It shows Ulrich and Yumi outside their house when Natsumi gets attacked by XANA, reacting to their daughter's screams. I put a couple cameos in the drawing. When you see it, note Ulrich's car. It's actually the Renault Mégane II, a small family car in France. Now, this story takes placed during 2017 so by that time the Mégane II will be vintage, but I have no way of knowing what cars Renault will pump out in that year. Do you? <LOL>. Also, there's a TV skyscraper behind the family house with the word FRANCE 3 on the top, as well as that station's logo. Now, I can't make any promises but when my Dad walks in tonight I'm going to bug him about reconfiguring our wireless print network to scan properly. Then, I'll send you an email with the pictures I've done so far attached. That could either be tonight or sometime this week. But I promise you it will be snappy! --Jeremie@theLab 17:00, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It better be. XD --User:Angie Y.

I could tell you to chill, but you are rightfully angry and I respect that. Just vent it out at me (I don't mind) and just promise that you'll start smiling again when I get you the artwork. --Jeremie@theLab 17:12, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not angry, just having a wearing-thin patience. ;) --User:Angie Y.

New Ideas

[edit]
Thanks for contacting me. :) I was beginning to miss your friendly face from my talk page. For ideas on New and Improved, I was recently thinking about some.
  • There's a plot hole I accidentally handed to you and JG. You know how I thought the DCPJ should investigate XANA's damage to France? Well, obviously Jeremie would activate a time reversion if XANA blew up something. It's not the physical carnage the DCPJ should investigate, but the human carnage. Okay, we've never seen what happens to people when they die in Code Lyoko and an RTTP is activated. Don't go into gory detail, but just have it mentioned that during the cataclysm, about three thousand or so people died. When time goes back, all the physical damage will be replaced (i.e., If XANA levels Versailles, the palace will be repaired). However, those who died won't come back to life. In the past, people will wonder why 3,000 people just disappeared. For added urgency, have some government officials among them. That will get the DCPJ on the trail for sure.
  • Remember the religion thing I brought up? I think this would be interesting: After Jeremie has the world go back in time post-XANA attack, have him grieve over the dead (ideally, have CNN International playing on one of the Interface side-screens before Jeremie activates the RTTP. Have the anchorwoman announce that authorities count 3,000 dead in the "terrorist attacks" [terrorism seems ideal, since these people have no knowledge of XANA]). While Jeremie grieves back in the past, he should look out the window and see the Eiffel Tower in the distance (if you had that tower destroyed, that is, other wise just have him look out the window) and say, "The physical damage was repaired, but what about the human damage? How can one rebuild a life? Let alone 3,000? They can't." Then, have Jeremie go to his buereau drawer and shift some clothes aside. At the bottom, he finds a crucifix and a copy of the Bible, both given to him by his parents. Explain that Roman Catholicism is not so much a faith as a birth-right in France, and that Jeremie is a closeted Catholic. Explain also that he styles himself as an atheist and doesn't really believe, and breifly touch on the fact that Jeremie just keeps these two items as keepsakes. Have Jeremie pick up the crucifix and stare at the Christ figure on it and say, "They say that you died for all our sins and that we are forgiven. Are they (the dead) forgiven? Did all of them die in vain today? Are they really all with you now? How can I believe that? Darwin, La Mettrie, d'Alembert, Dawkins, Freud, Joloit-Curie. They all tell me that you are false, part of the human mind, a psychological projection, nonexistant. I used to believe in you, even love you, when I was young...but now I have a new belief and a new love: science." Throughout the story, have Jeremie struggle with religion. Make Ulrich or Jim a devout Catholic and have them be Jeremie's go-to guy for God. This struggle between logic and religion could be an interesting backstory. How it ends I leave to you. Logician or Christian? Take your pick. I would go for a middle path, personally, where Jeremie decides that God and Jesus can exist and are real, but have him believe that God works through science. Namely, God jumpstarted evolution, etc. I would have Jeremie come to the conclusion that: "Of course God can exist. Of course I believe in him. But I'm as far from an Orthodox Catholic as you can get. You see, humans have a tendancy towards the logical side of thought. It just doesn't make sense to them anymore that God can go ZAP! and Adam appears. Therefore, maybe God puts his miracles, his miracles of life, earth and time, into scientific processes that his children can understand." But that is all entirely up to you.
  • If you are going along with the DCPJ story, you should know that ranks there are like police ranks. I'd have two Lieutenants work on the disappearance case. When they search possible targets for who would want to abduct 3,000 French nationals and leaders, have them look at France's "hot-spot" enemies, namely, countries that France has cheesed off in history. I'm thinking Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon and Vietnam. Those seem likely for places that want to stick a thorn in France's side.
  • I'd really like the DCPJ to discover the gang's secret in the Factory. When they do, how do you think they would react? Gut reaction: quarantine the place, arrest the gang (Jim and Sissi included) and shut down XANA once and for all. But is that what our two Lieutenants would do? Ideally no. Remember, along with police forces, the State has other helpful resources. Namely, medical teams. I don't know how the gang will do it yet (I'll construct that in my mind. When I figure it out I'll tell you), but have them convince the Lieutenants not to shut down Lyoko. Have the Lieutenants agree and place the gang under protective custody. Have the French government explore Lyoko, help out against XANA and get cracking on Aelita's antivirus.
  • Eventually, you could just have the French government get XANA under control or...no. I just thought of a great conflict. When the government gets knowledge of the Factory, have them descend on it and Lyoko. Have their most ingenious computer scientists crack the codes and have military personnel explore the sectors. Have that shadowy government reactivate Project Carthage as well. Now, the kids want to help the government, but the government won't let them since they're just "kiddies." Have the kids banned from the Factory and everything. Now, when the government gets Project Carthage back online and corrupts Lyoko and XANA to their will as computerized weapons (much as Franz Hopper envisioned them), have them...do something. Nothing lame like take over the world. I know, have those anti-France nations I mentioned earlier forming an alliance to set grievances right with their former Colonial occupier (France invaded all of those countries). Have the French government use, Project Carthage, Lyoko and XANA to get back at these countries: infecting computer systems, crashing stock markets, infecting banks and international reserves, destroy communications, disrupt electricity, making life miserable, what have you. The kids, Sissi, Jim and the two DCPJ Lieutenants, as well as Sam and William (maybe, if you choose) form an alliance to stop this. That could be fun. You could even have Jeremie and Aelita co-program a XANA-esque virus to shut down Carthage, Lyoko and XANA. That would be stellar.

Those are all the ideas I have going right now. When I get some more, I'll tell you. Please respond to tell me what you think of these! --Jeremie@theLab 21:58, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nice ideas! =D Actually, we're planning on having XANA go, but Lyoko stays. And actually, I picture Jeremie as a Protestant rather than Catholic. --User:Angie Y.

Protestant, Catholic, I don't care. There are still a few Huguenots poking around France today. Why not have Jeremie be a Huguenot,or perhaps an Episocopalian? The religion conflict can still stay that way. As Protestants, you could have Jeremie's go-to guy for God (I'm leaning towards Ulrich for that role. His contributions to the story have been minor, if any) be a Protestant as well. As for XANA, you can still have XANA go. Just have some computer scientists (or the kids, preferably) zap him. That will be fine. Project Carthage in conjunction with a corrupted Lyoko is enough to send four countries spiraling into chaos.
In fact, now that I think about it, if you and Jedi General need something to do with Ulrich make him a devout Catholic or Protestant or whatever. You could even have a scene at night when Ulrich gets to his room, kneels down, pulls out a copy of the Bible, crosses himself and says the Lord's Prayer. It would add a whole new dimension to CL! At the same time, we must attend to Yumi. Her role in "Sworn to Secrecy" was major, and then it tapered off from there. Reintroduce her to the plot. I can already imagine some scenes where she walks to school listening to Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams or Nightwish's Nemo on an iPod. Really delve into her personality. What makes her a near-goth? Why does she prefer black? Does it have to do with her parent's unstable marriage? Does it have to do with the stress of moving from Japan to France and putting down roots in this strange Western nation? Is it some darker area of her past? Give Yumi a split-personality: light and dark, agressive and passive. Make her a conflicted character. That would provide some atmosphere. --Jeremie@theLab 23:55, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, MORE fresh ideas! =D wE'LL LOOK INTO THOSE. --User:Angie Y.

How things are going

[edit]

Um, badly, actually. I know this is going to sound like an excuse, but I swear it is the truth. Honest, don't hate me. It turns out (I'm quoting my Dad on this one) that wireless print networks don't support scanners, so I can't email you pictures. That leaves one of two options. A) I get my email fixed and join deviantART or B) I manually mail the pictures to you via United States Postal Service. However, I don't know your address and I DON'T WANT TO KNOW IT. I don't believe it's in anyone's interest (much less mine or yours) to start trading addresses over the Internet where unsavory characters can find them. Although the scanner...no, wait, I need a scanner for deviantART. If I didn't have standards I would curse right now. Um...I'll see if I can find a third world scanner at a library or something and tell you if I find one. Oh, I'm so sorry for this. I really am. Please don't hate me! However, I can still supply ideas for your fanfics and I'll get cracking on mine. I finally finished my summer reading assignments, so I have some free time before school starts up again. But, sorry I haven't contacted you for a few days. I realize it got to be so bad that you had to tell me. Curses! Well, I'm not in the sunniest of moods right now. I'll contact you in the morning. Sorry again! --Jeremie@theLab 02:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Get your email fixed ASAP and join deviantART. The second option, you sending me the pics through postage, makes me queasy and frightened. --User:Angie Y.

Well, sending pics through post makes me queasy and frightened for you. I hope I haven't come across as a stalker of some sort, because I'm not! Although, don't I need a scanner to put drawings in to deviantART? --Jeremie@theLab 11:29, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Apparently, dA has undergone a layout change that most people do not agree with. Plus, my scanner's not hooked up either! --User:Angie Y.

Well, we're both in the same boat now! Maybe if the deviants get a petition going they can get the dA admins to revert the layout alterations. I'm still trying to hunt down a scanner. My city's library was gutted and won't be open until 2008, and they had to pack most of their stuff away. I won't have much luck there. I wouldn't risk my school, since if they catch you using computers for unauthorized purposes you get punished severely. I'll see if I can convince my Dad to take me to his office so I can see if I can use his corporate scanner. --Jeremie@theLab 16:10, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. You might want to consider a new talk page archive. Your table of contents is getting...pretty darn long. 76 conversations. You might want a new slate right about now. --Jeremie@theLab 16:12, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It should be archived. --[[User:Angie Y.]

Sweet Dreams?

[edit]

Angie, I was just wondering. Do you ever have dreams about the shows you get obsessed with (i.e. Code Lyoko, Invader Zim, et cetera)? I've actually had an Invader Zim dream, which was basically an entire replay of The Nightmare Begins from the beginning to the part where the Invaders are assigned SIRs. It had little deviations, but I was amazed at how vivid and accurate it was. Oh yeah, and I had the first-person view from Zim. Awesome! How about you? What cool dreams have you had? --Jeremie@theLab 22:56, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I had a dream a few night ago. It was a Code Lyoko-related dream. I was watching New and Improved (watching as in CL episode-watching) with David Gasman, Jodi Forrest, Barbara Weber-Scaff, et al.

We were doing a commentary on the proceedings on the movie. David had to pause it so he could get movie snacks. --User:Angie Y.

Hey, that's pretty humorous! I like how David had to pause the whole thing in order to get some food. I have, unfortunately, never had the joy of experiencing a Code Lyoko dream, which is odd, since I think about that show a lot. Of course, humans have hundreds of dreams every night based on their thoughts, we just don't remember the vast majority of them. In that case, I'm sure I've had several CL-related dreams, but just can't remember them. And speaking of New and Improved, I hope you and Jedi General are hard at work on the next chapters. I actually had a new idea last night! Are you guys going to have Franz Hopper in your story? I think he would be a good addition, since he has extraordinary power over the Towers and can even create/possess monsters for the group. If you do want to do Franz, here's what we can do.
  • Go into his personal history. His name sounds Germanic, so say he was born in Germany or something, near Munich. (I don't know why Munich. I guess that's just because my uncle has good friends there). He was a genius like Jeremie in school, but was forced into the Hitler Youth during World War II. However, he detested what the Nazis stood for and fled to France before it fell to the Nazi war machine. He had to hide out near Paris until the war ended. After that, he became got a job at the Ecole Militaire and worked his way up to ranks to be a top computer programmer. Because of that, he was drafted to help create Project Carthage in 1974. That's basically it. In Lyoko, have him help the group by giving them their own monsters to command, and have Jeremie learn how to summon/command monsters as well. Of course, we don't want the group standing down and letting their monster slaves do the dirty work. Have the kids fight right up there with their monsters.
Here are some more ideas.
  • Give Aelita a weapon. She's used Yumi's Tessen fans in one episode, it couldn't kill her character to at least have a scythe or something like that. Give her a spear or something, a homing javelin. Something like that.
  • I figured out how the gang can coerce the DCPJ Lieutenants into helping them when the government kicks them out of the Factory. Jeremie can hack military mainframes, so he can hack other systems. Have him bring up the Lieutenants' profiles from the DCPJ database and read about them. He finds a dark secret in both their pasts, like an act of terrorism they committed before entering the DCPJ in exchange for a clean slate. Have Jeremie threaten the two Lieutenants with exposure of this information to the public if they don't cooperate. That should work.
That's what I've got right now. I look forward to more great work =D --Jeremie@theLab 15:44, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A weapon for Aelita sounds like a great idea! =D Maybe a shortsword or something princess-like. --User:Angie Y.

The shortsword sounds good, but no magic wands or stuff like that. I like the look of Aelita running around with a serated dagger. Here's an awesome fight sequence: Aelita vs. a Tarantula in the Ice Barrier Sector. The Tarantual is too large and in the middle of a flat tundra. Aelita uses her Creativity to make an air-taxi block of ice. She flies over on it, jumps on the Tarantula's head and stabs it through the Eye of XANA with her shortsword. Yes...oh yes. --  Jeremie@theLab

Yeah, yeah! =D And shouting "IMPACT!" as she does! XD

I was also thinking the sword should be given a name. Like how we named Jim's pulse staf/bo the Electro-Staff. --User:Angie Y.

Mmmm...How about Excalibur or something like that? --  Jeremie@theLab

Good idea. Now for the appearance... --User:Angie Y.

You saw Mulan, right? Remember the dagger that Genghis Khan Mongolian general guy was carrying? It was all curvy and squiggly on the blade. Aelita would look amazing with a squigly blade, sharpened to a tee and serated on one side. You could even do a Shaka Zulu thing where the dagger has a blood channel running through the middle. Is that design twisted and violent enough to meet demand? --  Jeremie@theLab

Yes, I saw Mulan. Great film. Yes, that's a good design. --User:Angie Y.

Hello, fourth person I've met today

[edit]

Hellooooooooo. My name is ShogoFan3000. Like I told the last guy, I'm sitting in a very comfortable chair right now. It feels like a sofa. Though, I wish it was an arm chair. Are you sitting in a very comfortable chair right now? If you aren't, I pity you and wish you were in my position. I go to furniture stores to sit in their very comfortable chairs, how about you? My most favorite comfortable chair that I ever sat in was at a furniture store called AmericanaFurniture. It was a red armchair. I love armchairs, how about you. THE End. p.s. I wish I had dominic's pizza right now. THE END FOR REAL p.s. Please talk to me I am very board right now. The END I PROMISE--ShogoFan3000 19:56, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Five days before S3's premiere!

[edit]

Five more days before S3's premiere! I cannot wait! --User:Angie Y.

Neither can I! --  Jeremie@theLab

What are you gonna do to prepare? --User:Angie Y.

Well, I have three bags of chips, some pork rinds, some peach rings, some soda. I'm set for food. Now, if the TV doesn't act up I'll be set. I suppose I should have my laptop at hand in order to make a live-action recap of the episode. That's what I'm doing at the moment. How about you? --  Jeremie@theLab

I got my three CL DVDs, a hyperactive imagination, and some luck. --User:Angie Y.

Closer! =D

[edit]

It's getting closer! =D

By the way, a new chapter to New and Improved has been posted.

--User:Angie Y.

Yes! --  Jeremie@theLab

Check it out here. --User:Angie Y.

Undertank? AWESOME! I hadn't even considered Jim's vehicle. Seems fitting for him, to give him a tank. I see you took my idea for the monsters blowing up Paris. Sweet! You didn't really go into it much though...just Mr. Delmas saying "They're wreacking havoc around the Eiffel Tower and other monuments" and then having a really short news clip before some reporters get killed or something. In the next chapter, have Odd and Sissi inflitrate the city proper, which is now probably under Military control, to fight the monsters. That'll make for some great stealth scenes, since they don't want to get caught. Have them gaze on the smoking ruins of the Eiffel Tower (which was reduced to four molten steel stub legs and a bunch of wreckage my a Megatank) and the stone remnants of the Pantheon. Since there is no geographical way those two can get to the Arc de Triomphe in time and do fights, have one of those big Times Square-style news screens on a building side playing CNN International. Have them show an inset of the stone remnants of Napoleon's arch. Have Odd and Sissi overhear some military personel saying "Targets are moving on the Louvre!" Have them strike out overland, past the ruins of Notre Dame Cathedral on the City Island and start fighting monsters with flair before the military even arrive. The monsters will of course damage the Louvre. They'll destroy the I.M. Pei's glass pyramid entrance to the museum and the Denon Wing (where all the good paintings by Da Vinci, Carravaggio, etc. are located), etc. BUT HAVE SOME FIGHT SCENES IN PARIS! Also, have the two kids see some corpses and just get hit with the utter feeling failure and "Crap, this is what we tried to avoid. Noooo!!!!" That'll be AWESOME! Don't forget the whole religion conflict and Ulrich/Yumi. I noticed you incorporated those two a bit more. Excellent! You two are doing an awesome job. Keep doing what you're doing with Lyoko. I'll leave Lyoko plots to you and JG. I prefer to take on the real world. =DDDDDDD --Jeremie@theLab 02:02, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We need more suggestions! =DDD --User:Angie Y.

Suggestions? Got some right here! Actually, if you are interested I will give you a timeline for Odd and Sissi's Paris battles (if you want to do Paris battles, that is. I think you should, it would be thrilling)
  • Leave school grounds and walk through Boulogne-Billancourt (their Paris suburb), which was hit by the monsters earlier. Have Sissi comment on how the monsters' destruction of office buildings and houses looks like the Blitzkrieg.
  • The sneak past Military blockades by climbing some scaffolding on an apartment block undergoing renovations, then have them cross a plank that spans the street between that building and another office building across the street. They will infiltrate Paris via the Vanves district.
  • As the two walk through the trashed streets and ruined stores and apartments, they arrive at the Parc du Champ de Mars. Odd looks down the parkland expanse and says, "Oh...Oh good Lord...no." Sissi looks over. Both see the remnants of the Eiffel Tower, reduced to four molten stubs of steel, smoking. Have the top part of the tower (with the restuarant) buried in the river (but they can still see it). That makes a sort of parallel with Planet of the Apes where the protagonist sees the Statue of Liberty buried on a beach. Sissi and Odd just stare at the ruins. Odd hypothesizes a Megatank did it, and Sissi starts to cry out of a sense of national pride. Have Odd pick her up in a tender moment and continue on.
  • Someways into the city, the two come to a big square, an intersection between two major avenues. Scattered around with the flaming Renault cars, have Odd and Sissi see about fifteen corpses. Have Odd start to tear up, and focus on the fact that he and the gang had been trying to prevent this. Have him say something about that. Sissi averts her eyes to where she sees something. On one of the few undamaged buildings, there should be a huge plasma screen TV monitor. Odd and Sissi stare at it. CNN International will be playing, with the British anchor (CNNI is based in London) talking about the attacks on France's capital city. I'll make up the soliloquy, right here.
  • "And French authorities are still at a loss for the sudden and unexplained attacks on Paris by what can only be described as "monsters". The epicenter of the attacks comes from in and around the Paris metropolitan area, with all indications being that the attacks began from the suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt. The city of Paris is now under martial law at this time in order to prohibit the land attacker's deadly spread. However, there are reports of flying monsters as well, which have begun to attack the outlying cities of Lyon, Marseilles, Calais and Bordeaux. Despite the damage to these cities, Paris has sustained the brunt of the attack. Our broadcast from the city is restricted. Many camera crews have...simply disappeared. However, from the footage we have pieced together all indications point to a massive attack against the city's municipal and cultural infrastructure. A number of metro tunnels have been simply obliterated and caved in, trapping several trains apparently packed with commuters. These monsters have also disabilized the majority of the city's water grid, and numerous power plants have been levelled. All traffic out of Charles De Gaulle and Paris-Orly International Airports has been terminated, after an apparent destruction of the terminals and airport grounds. Numerous highways and arteries have been severed as well. In addition to this, we have been informed that, along with the quarantine of the city, the entirety of the Parisian population has been isolated in the former city of lights, now turned into a war zone. What we are about to show you may shock some viewers. We urge you to remain calm. As you can see by these clips, this is what one would expect to see in a city in the Middle East, rather than an international capital in Western Europe. (Have clip montage of destroyed buildings, cars, etc.) Also...(anchor is handed a report, skims is, and opens her eyes wide in surprise.) We have just received word that numerous landmarks around the city have been completely razed. At this point, we are aware of the utter destruction of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, the Pantheon, and, most recently, the world-famous Eiffel Tower, the former symbol of France and the city. Casualty reports are nonexistant at this point, but from what we have ascertained, they will be high. We are receiving preliminary reports that the offices of the president and prime minister believe this to be an act of terrorism on behalf of the so-called Alliance of the Wronged (you can go into this later, this introduces the concept of those countries I told you about (Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, China, Vietnam) that wanted to set matters straight with France for colonization and oppression. These are the guys the French government wants to get back at by using Project Carthage to destroy their economies. Economy destruction will be fun for me to explore!), but nothing has been verified. The Alliance member nations of Algeria and Egypt have issued statements denying any involvement, and word from the other members Lebanon, China and Vietnam are expected within the hour. We ask everyone to remain calm in this time and- (suddenly, explosions are heard from the studio itself. The anchor looks frightened before the feed is cut. Sissi asks, "What just happened?" Odd says, "I hope it's not what I think it is..." Sissi: "What's that?" Odd: "XANA's monsters just hopped the border...into Great Britain." Sissi: "What's going to happen?" Odd: "Who knows? If XANA's cronies can hop the city, the border and the continent in two hours...in a day, who knows? Canada, South Africa, India, South America, Australia...they could all be overrun." Sissi: "What can we do to stop it?" Odd: "That's up to Einstein and the gang right now. You and me, we have to defend the homefront...even if there's not much homefront left to defend."
  • The two walk on. They encounter some Kankrelats along the way, quick street skirmish. They arrive near the Pantheon, now a smoking mass of rubble and a collapsed dome. There's a military command post here. The two kids hide behind the rubble of the Pantheon and overhear tactical discussion.
  • "Well, communication is sketchy at best. Reports are infrequent...staticky. These...things must be wrecking our satellite frequencies. But, we have ascertained that most of the bridges crossing the Seine are now destroyed. General, this map shows you the areas basically controlled by our enemies."
  • Map (Odd and Sissi can see from their elevated perch), is basically all black (bad), with dots of white over the Pantheon, Vanves and the northern suburb of Montmarte.
  • Before the General can speak, a courier arrives. "General, we have reports from Perimeter 3. Targets are headed for the Louvre!" Odd and Sissi look at each other, and make a silent pact to reach the Louvre and defend it, the one remaining symbol of national pride.
  • They have to walk, since Sissi points out that the subways were destroyed. The two head to the shores of the Seine River. There, leading to the City Island, are no intact bridges. They are all collapsed and in pieces in the water. Odd spots a docked motorboat, they take it around the island. Sissi points out the ruins of Notre Dame, high up on the bluffs. They dock the boat on the opposite shore, just a block from the Louvre.
  • The two walk down the Quay and enter the Lourve enclosure via the Parc des Tulieres. There are no monsters there yet, so Odd and Sissi sit on a bench in front of I.M. Pei's glass Pyramid (new entrance to Lourve). Have a quip on French opinion. Most Parisians hate the Pyramid, so have Odd stare at it and say, "Boy, Mitterrand (president who ordered the Pyramid built) and I.M. Pei were retards."
  • Suddenly, they hear stomping and thudding, some rolling. They see trees getting flattened in the Parc des Tulieres, with the reflecting pool water throwns up. Odd says something, as a whole legion of monsters appear. Three Tarantulas, Five Megatanks. They see the kids. The lead Megatank opens fire. The two kids dodge, but the beam slices the Pyramid with surgical precision and it collapses on to the subterranean lobby. Odd thanks XANA for that, but then starts fighting. You and JG let your imaginations go WILD here. Have a super deluxe awesome fighting scene here. Just make sure that some laser bolts break down the walls of the museum, and the kids are forced back from the plaza into the falling apart Denon Wing (falling down because of damage). Here, the kids will be fighting around falling rubble, exhibits, giant urns placed in the middle of the hall for display, etc. And, uh, have the Mona Lisa and a couple Carravaggion paintings get blasted. Odd and Sissi are going to lose the fight, but at this point Jeremie and the Lyoko gang get the RTTP accomplished. All the damage is repaird. France, Paris, London, the landmarks, the paintings all revert to their normal state. Remember, before Jeremie hits the activation key, the news (CNN America from Atlanta, since London is getting blasted by Hornets now) is playing. It briefly touches on the destruction of London, and hints at airborn invasions of Spain, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Then he says that approximate reports of deaths in Paris alone is over ten thousand. Jeremie sits in shock as the white bubble engulfs him.

After the RTTP, Jeremie is in his room, looks at the Eiffel Tower, and does his whol religious spiel. Refer to an earlier conversation to see the details I gave you on that. Now, I hope you'll consider all of this! --Jeremie@theLab 02:53, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WHOA!! Those are super! --User:Angie Y.

No problem! I just got hit with the inspiration after posting the first message and just stayed up for an extra hour typing that. So, basically you can cut-and-paste this and use it as a guide, expanding on it. Ideally, between each bullet or so, skip back to Jeremie and Lyoko across town. Jeremie can be watching TV, seeing occasional broadcasts (which don't reveal much, since camera crews keep getting blasted or escorted out of the city by military. Jeremie can just say, "This is out of control!" every once in a while.) Looking forward to the next chapters! And, I just confirmed this at Cartoon Network.com. You probably already know this, but I confirmed it with myself. SEASON THREE PREMIERS TOMORROW NIGHT AT 6:30 PM!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! --  Jeremie@theLab

Tomorrow night? Well then, I must not delay! But for now, I must get ready for bed. --User:Angie Y.

I'm going to stay on for a while. I had some Thai Iced Tea and I'm not zonking out any time soon. In fact, I should return to LyokoFreak and see about signing up there! Activity will probably be high now that Season 3 has hit. Good night, and sweet dreams! --  Jeremie@theLab

Ohayo! =D I had wonderful dreams. --User:Angie Y.

Pee-wee's Christmas Special

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to the Pee-wee's Christmas Special article. However, you are frequently adding speculative or presumptuous comments that don't belong in an encyclopedia article. Additionally, please try to keep the Trivia section directly related to the Christmas Special. If you have trivia related to a particular character, please put it in the character article where it would be expected to be found. - Seinfreak37 14:46, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tip. --User:Angie Y.

Christian Symbology in Code Lyoko?

[edit]

I just realized this, it was so subtle I didn't see it before but look at this.

Here's Lyoko

Get the full picture in your mind, including those white coordinate grid strand things? All right, check this out.

Coptic-Cross

DON'T THE TWO LOOK SIMILAR? Lyoko is almost a perfect Coptic Cross, right from the coordinate grid strands (the arms and legs of Christ) to the four sectors (the timbers of the cross) to Carthage in the center (the head of Christ). Too weird! What do you think? Is this some kind of symbology put in by the creators or what? --Jeremie@theLab 00:08, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree! MAJOR symbolism. But I'm still rattled over Lyoko losing a sector. --User:Angie Y.

It's a rotatational coincidence, nothing more. You're comparing a spherical grid to a two-dimensional symbol. You're looking for things that aren't there. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 21:41, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Added more"

[edit]

Why do you keep using this on your edit summaries, even if it's just a minor change of words? To me, "added more" would be appropriate if you wrote a whole new paragraph. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 15:23, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Angie has a Java script which makes her enter an edit summary. Her choice of "added more" is simply a helpful standard message. I have the same script. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 21:40, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I still think it's inappropriate. "Reword" or "reorder" would be better for small edits like these. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 07:13, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This page is 147 kilobytes long.

[edit]

I think you should archive some more of it. I use Werdnabot, maybe you should too. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 07:13, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm...--User:Angie Y.

Yeah, I brought this subject up a while ago. We need a clean slate (or in this case, a clean talk page), this one is MONSTROUS!  Jeremie@theLab

I dunno how to archive it. Can someone help me?! --User:Angie Y.

I put the same Werdnabot archival tag on here that I use. It'll remove discussions that haven't been posted to in 3 weeks, and place them in /Archive 2. Feel free to change the amount of time. I also moved your old archive pages so they have the correct slash in them. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 19:33, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. --User:Angie Y.

Oh, by the way, you should put a timestamp in your signature. If you don't, Werdnabot can't archive your comments properly. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 20:09, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dunno how! --User:Angie Y.

Sign your comments with four tildes like this: ~~~~. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 21:46, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Angie Y. 21:49, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I meant without putting the User:Angie Y. on the end. So basically put the tildes as the last thing you type. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 21:51, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Angie Y. 21:53, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing, you can change what appears in place of the tildes by clicking "my preferences" at the top of the page. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 21:54, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay then. Angie Y. 21:56, 23 September 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Sissi as Lili

[edit]

Check out this ic that someone drew for me!:

[1]

It's Sissi dressed in Lili's 1P outfit from Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. --User:Angie Y.

Whoa! Now that's just wild!  Jeremie@theLab

I see a lot of similarities between these two girls:

  • They're both fashion-crazed.
  • They're both junior high and high school students, respectively.
  • They both are lovers of beauty and fashion.
  • Both have wonderful fighting capabilities (Lili knows street fighting, Sissi knows Pencak Silat).
  • Both talk in prissy ways and have a similar tendancy to flip their hair.
  • Both talk about their fathers a lot.
  • Both are only daughters.

Angie Y. 16:55, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sissi's bio

[edit]

Elisabeth "Sissi" Delmas.

The only daughter of a junior high school principal and businessman in France.

A few months ago when she was attacked by someone possessed by XANA (a malevolent artificial intelligence), while restrained she struggled violently to free herself, taking out her captor. That fight triggered her hunger for battle.

However, Sissi's father was a good-hearted man who hated the use of violence to get what one needs.

"I don't want Daddy to be upset with me..."

Sissi could no longer control her urge to fight. Under the guise of a simple vacation, she used her father's private jet to take part in street fighting tournaments around the world.

One day, she receives an invitation to a certain fighting tournament from an opponent she defeated in Los Angeles. Sissi soon realizes that the host of this tournament was none other than Confederated Computers, a world-renowned technology corporation and the main source of her father's problems. She decides to enter the tournament and put an end to her father's business troubles.

--User:Angie Y.

Thinking of an all-Sissi fanfic now? Sweet! That could be fun!  Jeremie@theLab

I think so. --User:Angie Y.

Sissi's ending

[edit]
SISSI: Now that I've taken care of Confederated Computers for my father, I'm sure he would be thrilled!
(Sissi flips her hair as she walks off-camera. Odd pretends to dry his eyes with his finger, as if tears are welling in his eyes.)
ODD: (in British accent) Truly splendid, Miss Sissi.
(Sissi stops walking and looks at Odd—she has been walking down the renovated vestibule steps. Odd descends them himself to join her. Sissi follows him with her eyes.)
SISSI: Oh, Odd. You're too much. I only did what any girlfriend would do.
(Samantha laughs. The couple looks at her and Sissi smiles warmly at her friend.)
INT. FRONT OF LIMOUSINE -- CONTINUOUS
(The chauffeur—Robert—turns on the in-car television. The news is on.)
JOHN SWAMP: Confederated Computers, a world-famous technology company, has declared a merger with Kadic Academy. The funding will go into the construction of a new computer facility for the boarding academy.
(Robert's mouth opens into an open smile and he gasps happily.)
EXT. COURTYARD -- CONTINUOUS
(Sissi, Odd, Ulrich, Yumi, Aelita, Jeremie, Jim, Samantha, and William are laughing. Pull back during this.)

--User:Angie Y.

I don't think it's possible for a corporation to merge with a school...but I could be wrong. Btw, wasn't Sissi supposed to destroy this company?  Jeremie@theLab

Yeah, but she later realizes that Lyoko is a part of the company. --User:Angie Y.

New chapter

[edit]

A new chapter to New and Improved has just been posted.

Chapter 9: Return, Interrupted Angie Y. 14:52, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Code: WIKI

[edit]

Dear Angie, this is KFan II. I wish to reconcile. I now realize that as Season 3 draws near, we need some writers to write down the happenings of the upcoming episodes. I am sorry I kicked you off. I suppose your thoughts about me were true, and I have decided I will be less dictatorial on Code: WIKI. If you agree to join Code: WIKI again, I will unblock you and make you Guardian again. Please accept this compromise. Sincerely, KFan II

I accept, as long as you help me with my wiki, The Realm of Lyoko. I'll tell Jeremie@theLab about it. Angie Y. 23:39, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, the Realm is practically dead right now in all aspects. It must be recreated and reactivated, taken under Code: WIKI's protective "wing" and protected from vandals. Now, let's all cooperate here.  Jeremie@theLab

Yeah, lets. Angie Y. 14:28, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Angie!

[edit]

Sorry I haven't left any messages sooner. I almost did once, but your talkpage was so long that it intimidated me - 78 messages! You either got really popular in a short time or you hooked up to Wikipedia a long time ago. How do you get to Realm of Lyoko? I'd like to check it out! Oh - but if it's a different website from this one, I can't get there. Later! --

Okay, first off, tell me who you are. And second, it was hosted on a different website. Angie Y. 21:18, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that; I'd saved it before signing that message and then it wouldn't let me add my name! We've already been talking a little, actually, on both my page and Jeremie@theLab's. Call me Aelita. -- Aelita@Lyoko 22:28, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Aelita! How's it going? The CL premiere, XANA Awakens, premieres in four days! Angie Y. 22:36, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Only four days? You're kidding! Ever since I learned where Season 1 begins, I thought that they left a huge piece out of the story; now they're finally putting that piece in! But, to answer your question...Bad news is that I think I'm coming down with something, good news is that my mom said that if I finish all my homework before Saturday she'll free up my internet access for the weekend (I don't really think I'll make it this week, though)! I've got XANA Awakens on watch, so I'll know when I can check it out! -- Aelita@Lyoko 02:50, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pee-wee's Playhouse

[edit]

Hey Angie! How's it going? I would like to thank you a lot for contributing to Pee-wee's Playhouse. You must love that show almost as much as I do. I like how we work as a team sometimes; you add some and I add some. Keep up the good work! MHarrington 18:26, 30 September 2006 (UTC) P.S., I didn't know you had Asperger's. That's something we have in common, too.[reply]

Yeah, thanks. Did you know that Code Lyoko character Elisabeth Delmas have a similar beuty obsession with Miss Yvonne? Angie Y. 18:44, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, I never thought of that. But then, I probably wouldn't know; I don't watch Code Lyoko. Sorry. I'm glad you like it, though. MHarrington 18:58, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I LOVE this show! It's very awesome, check it out sometime! Angie Y. 19:07, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to revise some of the episode pages on Pee-wee's Playhouse by adding proper templates for each show and, where possible, screenshots from that episode MHarrington 17:47, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Check THIS Out

[edit]

Hey Angie, when you've got the time, check out this really awesome website. The url is: www.homestarrunner.com. I'm not going to go into details of what it's about, but trust me, you MUST check it out! MHarrington 19:01, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Homestar Runner, huh? Angie Y. 19:06, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's an awesome website. Have your ever heard of it? If not, then you've got to see it. It's a great toon website! MHarrington 19:38, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The giant purple cat and the urban warrior

[edit]
Odd and Sissi sitting in a tree:
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
First comes love,
then comes marriage,
then comes Sissi with a baby carriage!

After seeing Odd calling Sissi a cute babe and Odd falling on top of her, I am so happy! Angie Y. 13:47, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When does that happen? --Aelita@Lyoko 19:59, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Part 1 of Xana Awakens. Angie Y. 21:11, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. I still don't think that the Odd/Sissi relationship is going to happen. Respect, maybe, and maybe Sissi will join the team, but she won't be Odd's girlfriend. Ulrich's, maybe; they did kiss once... --Aelita@Lyoko 22:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another Idea for New and Improved

[edit]

I am happy to say that you are monopolizing the human side of the characters in New and Improved, while I do that whole evil political thing. Well, allow me to stretch outside my speciality for a moment with an idea that hit me today.

Ulrich and Yumi are walking through downtown Boulogne-Billancourt (this is after the RTTP post-XANA attack on Paris). As they pass by that photo booth seen in "False Start," Yumi asks Ulrich where he is taking her. He says, "It's a surprise." This implies that Ulrich is taking Yumi on a night out in order to patch up their spotty relationship.

A few minutes later, they arrive at a corner nightclub called "RAVEFRANCE!" Yumi realizes where this is all going and grins while Ulrich takes her by the hand. In through the doors they go. Once Ulrich drops a couple Euros to the attendant for entrance fee, the two enter the dance floor. It is Industrial/Techno Night, hosted by Radio France. The two push their way between other ravers and begin dancing to DDR's "Mr. Wonderful." Here's the clip of the music: [2]. It's the perfect song to describe Yumi's current feelings for Ulrich.

That's what I came up with. Any ideas on how to expand it? You are always eloquent with shippings and emotions. --Jeremie@theLab 01:35, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I did plan on having Ulrich (finally) kiss Yumi after the date. And maybe he walks back to the school with a hopeful smile on his handsome face. Angie Y. 01:41, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. I think we should reverse the kiss. Yumi to Ulrich, since she is the one who was having problems with the relationship (remember that split-personality charater I suggested for her earlier?). That's a great patch. Did you see the clip? It's Invader Zim! --Jeremie@theLab 01:43, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sweet! Unfortunately, in Season 3, Ulrich and Yumi broke up. :'(

How to you say "see you tomorrow" in Japanese? Angie Y. 01:46, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who says New and Improved has to follow the show's continuity? The whole point of fanfic is to explore what's beyond possible. In New and Improved, Ulrich and Yumi can just have hiccoughs in their relationship do to Ulrich's lack of self-confidence and intriverted nature, and Yumi's split-personality and troubled character. This dance club patches that up partially. And "see you tomorrow." Um...ooh, I'll just play dumb American here (sorry!) SAYONARA! I assume this means bedtime for you. I guess I'll be off too. Talk to you tomorrow! Happy Columbus Day! --Jeremie@theLab 01:52, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Same to you. Oyasumi (good night), Kevin. Sleep well, and come up with more ideas in your sweet and beautiful dreams. Angie Y. 02:10, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another idea

[edit]
  • Herb and Nicholas were in Mr. Chardin's film class with the teens (though he was nor seen or even heard), a class in which they all had to turn in video projects of any kind; Herb filmed Nicholas with a camcorder, planning to edit out all of Nick's accidents and embarrassments during the day.
  • Herb and Nick's video was "Nick: the World's Greatest Kid."
  • Herb edited together the raw footage for the video project and ended up, apparently accidentally, creating a video/audio collage that included all of Herb and Nick's pratfalls during the day and some sound clips spliced together to misquote him in embarrassing ways; it is extremely unlikely that the tape could have been edited into its final form merely by chance.
  • It created quite a laughfest, as some of the kids (and Jim and Suzanne apparently) were shown laughing during various parts of the video. Even Mr. Delmas and some other faculty members were chuckling. At the end of the video, everyone (including Mr. Delmas) exploded into gales of laughter.

That's my other idea, inspired by Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episode #37: Clean-Up Club and dedicated to the five original Power Rangers actors. Angie Y. 10:52, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's really good! I noticed that the fanfic could use some humor. When's the next installment due?  Jeremie@theLab

We're working on it, I promise. Angie Y. 19:43, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's that giant war in Paris, isn't it? ^_^  Jeremie@theLab

We're getting to that, too. Angie Y. 19:49, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see! Gradual plot introduction, good idea. Yeah, I honestly tried to watch this "Clean-up Job" episode of Power Rangers on YouTube and that show just doesn't do it for me. The minute they talk about this polluting unicorn in a cheap light-up halloween costume with this whacked-out "queen" on the Moon I just can't take it any longer. Sorry, plastic costumes, lame humor and sparkly special effects = low budget for me. Sorry I couldn't survive it, but I understand the video production part at least!  Jeremie@theLab

Awww... Angie Y. 21:35, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did I hurt your feelings? Sorry! But I am still a diehard Invader Zim and Code Lyoko fan, so we're even on that ground. By the way, you're on YouTube aren't you? I just happened to find an account called "Angie2343" who is 19, from the United States and her Favorites section is chock full of Power Rangers. I just decided that was too much of coincidence to not be you! I've actually thought about joining YouTube so I can leave comments, how is it there? By the way, one of my other buddies here, Sean gorter, started an organization called P.L.E.A.S.E., the purpose of which is to encourage active editing of Wikipedia. With your help it could grow to be on par with Esperanza or something like that! Would you like to join? You definitely qualify. Let me send you a link.  Jeremie@theLab

P.L.E.A.S.E.

Anyway...

Yeah, "Angie2343" is me! =D I have a lot of videos in my favorites. Plus, any more ideas for New and Improved? Angie Y. 02:41, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have any ideas right now, but I will tell you what. This afternoon when I get some free time after my homework, I'll give this "Clean-up Job" episode a good-faith effort and try to watch it all the way through and get back to you on it. It might actually be okay, I'll have to try it first.  Jeremie@theLab

Thanks for the heads-up. Angie Y. 14:37, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yet ANOTHER idea!

[edit]

For going to the rave with Ulrich, Yumi could wear the outfit she wore to the prom in Teddygozilla! =D Angie Y. 19:35, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Go Go, Power Rangers!

[edit]

Well, I did it! I watched the whole episode and...it was pretty darn good. I'm glad I tried it, it was worth it. So as much as I am embarrased to admit returning to my inner child, yeah, you hooked me on Power Rangers! The fight scenes actually made up for all the dumb stuff in between. Would you allow me to make one critique and then I will have nothing but good things to say about the show? Very well.

It sort of strains belief. I know this show is aimed at age groups who are not disposed to perceiving plot holes, but that doesn't help. I mean, the general public knows about this crazy psycopathic woman who lives on the Moon, and she is allowed to do whatever she wants. Right, if the Power Rangers were in the real world, the United States government would have nuked the Moonbase by episode 2 to remove a threat to national security. And another thing, the Moon is like, 20 x closer to the Earth than it should be. If that was the case in real life, Angel Grove would be a puddle thanks to the havoc that proximity would wreack on ocean tides. Also, they complain about how heavy industry is the main cause of pollution. Not so. It's mainly combustion engine cars now, most factories have filters and the "smokestacks" really spew out steam. I mean, the Power Rangers are driving age but don't blame themselves in part for pollution. Look at the Megazord-thingy or whatever they call it. Does anyone have any idea how much gas it would take that thing to move 10 feet? Probably a whole oil field. And it is highly unlikely that people would put so much random garbage on a remote area in a park. The slang/insults sound like they were written by executives in a board room (funky down the tube?!?). That's it! I've vented.

Thank you for turning on my inner child! So, this makes 3 shows both you and I like! And also, yes, have Yumi wear her prom clothes to the rave club.  Jeremie@theLab

The line that Amy Jo Johnson says as Kimberly is "It looks totally far out and funky down the drain, dude!". I didn't think a woman her age would say that, but...

And thanks! Now, what would Ulrich wear? Angie Y. 02:15, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd hope no sentient human being would ever say that. And you're welcome! So, for Ulrich...He's too casual. Have him wear his normal street clothes. Well, believe it or not, it is actually going to be me bidding you good night first this evening. Have a good sleep, and have some great dreams! I'll check back tomorrow morning before school. Good night!  Jeremie@theLab

'Night. :') Angie Y. 02:23, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good morning! I'll have to be off in a couple minutes, but I had other ideas for New and Improved. You saw False Lead on Tuesday, right? You definitely, at one point, have to have Aelita user her weapon to neutralize and shatter the Megatank's laser wall like she did in the episode.  Jeremie@theLab

That was awesome! And Jim seemed to wanna help! He was a lot calmer than he usually is, too. Angie Y. 10:31, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know! The minute I saw Jim choke-hold both of the Secret Service agents the first thing I thought was, "Wow! Now Angie will be happy!" I really like Aelita in Season 3. She has really broken out of her shell of inconfidence since False Start. She's deactivated the Carthage switch in style, blown up several monsters, done some zero-G dives on the Vehicles, all kinds of stuff. I am supposing you saw the episode "Aelita" today. She seemed sort of...cocky, almost, in this episode, bossing Odd around and all that. Ever since she got a weapon she has gone from victim to awesome!  Jeremie@theLab

I even came up with an idea for New and Improved that I should tell you about.

In N & I, the memories of the events in XANA Awakens (mostly the bad) come to Sissi in the form of nightmares. After just one nightmare, she screams in the purest terror. Jim, Jeremie, Odd and Ulrich are the only ones who hear the scream. Oh, and Aelita, too. Sissi is in total shock, and she is crying so hard she can't get any words out except "betrayal" and "monster". The next morning, the group investigates this, and Sissi is calmed down by now, having slept someplace else. Jim knows of Sissi's shock, having once been a psychologist, but as always he'd rather not talk about it. Earlier though, it's discovered that Jim can absorb large amounts of electric power into his body, a side-effect from being in Lyoko, without fear of death by electrocution.

You like this one? Angie Y. 01:52, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's pretty dark and threatening...ominous almost. I like it a lot. You should definitely use it. By the way, I just created a user sub page called User:Jeremie@theLab/Joke Post and Fondue Shack where I post satires. I posted my first one tonight! Go check it out if you ever feel like it. I am planning a Code Lyoko and Power Rangers Spoof as we speak!  Jeremie@theLab

Can I help? Angie Y. 02:46, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Of course! I always need new ideas!  Jeremie@theLab
Btw, this is going to have to be "Good Night," right here from me. You know, I'm going to try to figure out how to say Good Night in ponashemu (the language of my ancestry) just like you've been doing a wonderful job gracing me with Japanese farewells. But for tonight, I must go with the simple, "Good Night!" Leave some ideas though, and I will check in the morning. Have a good and safe night, my friend.  Jeremie@theLab

I hope that I can.

Well, for one thing, have Hervé and Nicholas play Bulk and Skull, and have Aelita and Sissi share the Kimberly role. ([[Amy Jo Johnson's gonna love ya for this.) Obviously have Jeremie play Billy, Yumi play Trini (they sound similar), Odd play Zack (they're both jokesters)...Angie Y. 02:58, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You might actually want to read what these spoofs are about. Read the summaries here. The CL and MMPR spoofs are two separate productions, not meshed. Read the summaries and then I'll be glad to hear some more ideas!  Jeremie@theLab

Sorry about that. ^_^ What do you have in mind for your spoof? Angie Y. 16:50, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's okay! Well, I haven't seen all the Power Rangers episodes yet, so I need you to tell me what kind of villains they've faced in the past (besides that psychopath on the Moon, I mean her monsters) so I can get ideas for spoofy monsters for the "Mighty Morphin' Mormon Rangers" to fight. I would also like to know some obscure details from that series to use! Anything is appreciated!  Jeremie@theLab

Here ya go!

[3]

Oh, and I meant the CL/MMPR spoof. ^_^ Angie Y. 13:12, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My idea in less detail: Xana Pollution

[edit]

The kids and Jim decide to put together a club to clean up Paris. But, Xana plots a pollution scheme and attacks the local recycling plant to do the job. In a backstory, the Cinema Club's video project film festival is starting, and Herb and Nicholas make a (unintentionally comical) video. Angie Y. 18:40, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The more studious of your readers will notice the obvious cameo of Power Rangers, but that is okay! I like this, as it will form a fun side chapter! By the way, since the Realm is down, I'm planning another user sub page for random fanfics since I can't join fanfic.net or lyokofreak at the moment. There, I will make stuff, including an idea that hit me today after the (completely AWESOME) episode about XANA utilizing the Eiffel Tower as a electric laser to destroy satellites and precipitate a global nuclear war.  Jeremie@theLab
By the way, I had an idea today. MoonScape took almost all of our ideas fro New and Improved (government agents, Aelita's weapon, etc.) but what they haven't taken yet is a Vehicle. Aelita needs her own personalized Vehicle! And I think I know just the thing. XANA and Franz Hopper can possess monsters. Aelita should program herself the power to possess monsters with another "green" energy orb and make it obey her. She could hitch a ride on a Manta, or Krabe or whatever, and get some convenient allies for the gang. But this power needs a penalty, or else the battles turn into quick possessions and they end too fast. Each time she uses this ability, she needs to sacrifice like, 25 life points. How does this sound?  Jeremie@theLab

Good idea.

My idea for a Vehicle for the Princess is, appropriately enough, a chariot. Jeremie also rides this. Angie Y. 02:27, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's pretty original, but Jeremie as well? Let me guess...you two are thinking of sending Jeremie to Lyoko aren't you?  Jeremie@theLab

Yeah. We are. We know the supercomputer cannot be operated without him, but what can we do? Angie Y. 10:32, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, have Odd operate it *smirks* that could be amusing.  Jeremie@theLab

Jim - death and rebirth

[edit]

I was thinking about having Jim die during a XANA attack. Most of the kids, after the return trip, do not grieve over his death (because of his previous ways) but Jeremie assures his peers that he did in fact have love in his heart—he just never showed it much due to stress in his previous life.

Several days later, a young boy (Jim reborn as a 13-year-old) appears on campus, wearing different clothes from his past life. He has almost no memory of that life except for his friends (Jeremie, Aelita, Yumi, Ulrich, Odd, William, Samantha, and Sissi). He first appears when they're having lunch. He calls out to his friends, and they immediately recognize him. Angie Y. 11:43, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure of the actual physical and temporal anomalies to make this happen. This is something you can't explain away easily...but it could be dramatic. I'm leaning towards putting this in the fanfic.  Jeremie@theLab

Yeah, but how? Angie Y. 00:23, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You mean how to explain away this resurrection, or where to put the chapter?  Jeremie@theLab

They stole another idea...AGAIN!

[edit]

The creators have snatched another idea from our heads in The Secret, but that does not mean we can't still use it. Jim, however, has gone to a new level of meanie-poop, but I'm sure David Gasman will enjoy Jimbo being nice. Angie Y. 00:42, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wait, which idea was that? I'm lost. And how did Jim get meaner? He seemed like a laid back, sucky synchronized swimmer in today's episode.  Jeremie@theLab

He was yelling at William on the bus. The creators used an idea similar to ours: William getting suspicious over the group's secret. He first starts by, like in the episode, following Yumi home. Angie Y. 19:49, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah, now I remember. I think I drew that connection, but then forgot.  Jeremie@theLab

Yeah. Angie Y. 15:16, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Although, he didn't exactly follow her home. They ran into each other by pure happenstance. In the episode William said he'd snuck off campus to see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow or something like that.  Jeremie@theLab

Oh. Okay. I'm sorry. Angie Y. 16:07, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh it's not that big a deal, a minor plot detail at best. It's not the end of the world if I or you don't know a slight piece of trivia. Where can I get Power Ranger's episodes? Jeremie@theLab

[4] has the best episodes. Angie Y. 16:05, 17 October 2006 (UTC) [reply]

?

[edit]

Your Werdnabot installment screwed me up. I checked your page and our conversation was archived! So, anyway, I checked out the link for Power Rangers. That's a forum, I can't find the episodes! But that's okay. Believe it or not, I added your YouTube account to my Internet Favorites and I can use that for episodes. I've seen "Clean-up Club (best monster award)", "Trouble with Shellshock" (2nd-best monster award), an episode involving some giant weed (wors monster prize) and "Life's a Masquerade" (Best giant ball of clay that causes earthquakes for some reason award). --  Jeremie@theLab  02:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great awards! Angie Y. 18:48, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why thank you! But it is all thanks to the monsters that these awards are given. Polluticorn takes the cake hands down! Who's your favorite monster? Jeremie@theLab

All the "female" mosters, like Madame Woe and Octoplant. Angie Y. 02:03, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Haven't seen Madame Woe yet (how's she?), but the Octoplant sort of threw me off. Narcisism was her downfall, getting slashed by the Power Sword while looking at herself on a reflective glass building! I suppose she wasn't that bad, I mean, just by wrapping some roots around the planet she can make it explode (horrible science, but entertaining nonetheless). I like all the impermanent monsters (the ones who get blown up at the end of each episode). The permanent ones who live on the Moon sort of freak me out, and once we get into that new cast of Power Rangers (Kat, Aisha, Tommy, etc) the monsters really give me the impression of their creation via LSD. The closest these permanents get to being my "favorite" would be Baboon and Squat, since they created Shellshock. Ms. Psycopath-with-a-smoker's-cough-and-big-wand-she-can-chuck-between-moon-and-earth is just plain creepy. So how is Madame Woe? What episode is she in? Jeremie@theLab

She actually is one of my least favorite monsters because of the way she looks (blue hair and a kabuki mask doesn't fit quite right to me) and her costume is too flamboyant. She was in Peace, Love, and Woe, where Billy gets a crush on a nerdy girl named Marge. Angie Y. 02:52, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like an episode about hippies. And her costume sounds...horrifying. But, I simply must see that episode now. I have a half-day at school, so that gives me two extra hours to do stuff before bed. I should be able to watch it then. Jeremie@theLab

Jim and Mrs. Hertz

[edit]

Yesterday's episode was CHOCK FULL of Jim/Suzanne romance! =D Angie Y. 14:42, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You mean "Nobody in Particular?" That was a great episode! As horrible as it is to admit it, I laughed when that Manta shot Aelita in her hiney. When that happened, I knew she would get devirtualized. Interestingly enough, Aelita doesn't seem to get fazed by devirtualization at all, and came out looking prety stoic. Yumi usually punches the floor when she gets devirtualized, and Odd has an asthma attack or something. You know, I am beginning to think that Jim has had too many jobs for a man his age in life, even for a running gag. Secret Service agent, salvage diver, sewer maintenance, and now an Argentinian tango dancer?!

You'll have to tell me what you think about this, but I believe that croissants are the show's next running gag. After seeing Jim (as Ulrich) get pummled by a blitzkrieg of about five hundred croissants, I decided that this French snack food is a joke. Today's episode was awesome, and a bit freaky! The giant cloud that turns people into stone actually raised some questions. When everyone in the city got petrified, weren't they clinically dead? Unless it was a superficial petrification, everyone's organs would've become rocks as well and technically they should all be dead. But this is Code Lyoko. No one dies in Code Lyoko! Jeremie@theLab

"Too many jobs" is right! They need to stop the gag. Angie Y. 22:38, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They sort of revitalized the gag when Ulrich (as Jim) actually said "I'd rather not talk about it," but it is getting far too old to continue. If Jim is still saying that at the Season 4 finale, I will put an axe to the TV. The gag is still quasi-entertaining now, but give it another season and it will be flat. The writers must move on to croissants! Jeremie@theLab
I forgot to mentione that. That was INSANE! I have no idea how she pulled that off, despite extreme anger and adrenaline. I'm going to watch that Power Rangers episode now, so I'll be back on in 30ish minutes or so. Jeremie@theLab

Yeah. And Jim got punched out by Suzie. Angie Y. 22:42, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I do believe Madame Woe is better than you made her out to be. Obviously the blue hair is out of place, but I think she is easily the best female villain, with some of the best attacks. The real high point was seeing the Power Rangers make world's ultimated 5-pronged crossbow/particle impactor and BLEW HER UP! I actually went back to watch that 5 times. I still think the Polluticorn is the best, but Madame Woe has earned my respect. In fact, the only low point of this episode were fat youth-center owner attempting to dance and having to suffer through the cliche nerd vocabulary. Right, I'm what some people could call "smart" but I would never talk like Billy does, that is just creepy. But other than that, stellar episode! What did you think of it when you saw it? Jeremie@theLab

I thought it was a pretty average episode at first. Angie Y. 00:11, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All right. Which episodes do you consider to be the best? Do you have a top 5 or something to that extent? Jeremie@theLab
  1. Clean-Up Club
  2. Day of the Dumpster

@Peace, Love, and Woe

  1. Bloom of Doom
  2. The Wannabe Ranger
  3. The Wedding parts 1, 2, and 3

Angie Y. 09:37, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think I've seen three of those (Clean-up, Peace, Love, Woe and Bloom) but the others sound...whack. Day of the Dumpster?!? My curiosity is piqued, I must see that! Btw, WILLIAM IS A CL WARRIOR! What do you think of that? I'm excited for Monday's episode!  Jeremie@theLab

I dunno what to think. William didn't prove himself! Angie Y. 23:47, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not in this episode, but in "The Secret" he was the one who saved the Factory by defusing the detonator. I bet in Monday's episode he will prove himself in combat. I was sad to see the Mountain Sector go, however. I knew it had to be done because the creators are slowly, gently, annihilating Lyoko so the show can switch focus from Lyoko to the World Wide Web. I still think Jeremie should've created a back-up file of at least one sector to his special-access region of the supercomputer, but that's just me. I'm sure the writers would pass it off as "not enough RAM to handle it" even though with quantum super computers the conecpt of RAM is meaningless: memory is extended far beyond most systems. Jeremie@theLab

Not a lot of people like William. Angie Y. 01:20, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why. He seems to be an okay-person. Jeremie@theLab

Yeah. You're right. Angie Y. 02:13, 21 October 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Lyoko...is GONE!!

[edit]

Xana won. He killed all of Lyoko, and now only Carthage is left. Angie Y. 19:19, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No... Jeremie found a way to get into Carthage... Besides, how can Xana attack without the towers? ~ iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 19:37, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There is one tower hidden in Carthage, I believe. If not, XANA could user national military servers to cause chaos.  Jeremie

@theLab

XANA's winning! It's hopeless! Angie Y. 20:06, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that would be the illusion of winning. They give XANA tons of victories so when the gang comes out on top it is all the more glorious.  Jeremie

@theLab

I hope you're right.

Any new ideas for New and Improved? Jedi General hasn't spoken to me in days. Angie Y. 20:57, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So that's why there aren't any new chapters. I haven't got any ideas right now, let me go dream some up first :).  Jeremie

@theLab

Yeah, I had a dream that I was in a building that tried to eat me... ... ...that's not exactly going to help with this fanfic.  Jeremie

@theLab

Yup, it's not, but---wait a minute! That's it! Dreams!

Remember "Double Trouble when William had those recurring dreams? Angie Y. 14:30, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but those didn't amount to much...especially since William is now XANA and floating in the fetal position over Lyoko. You know, even though Carthage bought the farm along with the rest of Lyoko in this episode, Lyoko still technically exists. XANA-William is floating over the Digital Sea, which still exists. Since the DS is still alive (and practically indestructible) Lyoko is alive as well, but on considerable life support.
P.S.: How can it still be "Code Lyoko" when the "Lyoko" part of it was destroyed?  Jeremie

@theLab

Also, I saw the message you left on my user page. Arabian sheik outfit sounds...odd, but it could work quite well, especially if William gets dual scimitars.  Jeremie

@theLab

That's correct. Dual scimitars will be Will's weapons, and his skill is invisibility. Angie Y. 14:48, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

P.S.: Samantha made a comeback appearance in Final Round as well. Angie Y. 15:01, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I know, I saw the episode. But I was NOT expecting that!!! When I saw her head pop up on screen I was shocked. Didn't see that one coming! But it was awesome to see her again...Had no idea she was a skateboarding pro. I don't know if you noticed, but her skateboard decal was actually the flag of the Republic of Macedonia...weird. Jeremie@theLab

Cool!

Samantha is in chapter 7 of New and Improved as well. She and William are falling in love. <3 Angie Y. 01:18, 25 October 2006 (UTC) [reply]

New outfits

Second row: What's up with them? They look really weird...

Huh, maybe they're going to redesign the 3D ones in the second row to look like the ones in the third row. The third row rocks. ~ iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 09:32, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To quote the Power Rangers, power up! =D Their new forms look awesome! Angie Y. 15:12, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Especially Aelita's. =D ~ iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 20:40, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Even though it's too small to distinguish, I'm fairly certain that's a pink Eye of Xana on Aelita's chest armor. Bear Eagleson 21:12, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Ya think so? Angie Y. 21:15, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
WHOA! Those outfits sure kick the pants off the old ones (so to speak, tee hee)! Aelita finally looks cool inside a digital world. And I think that is the Eye of XANA. Bring on Season 4!  Jeremie@theLab
We don't have much of a wait. March 2007's not that far away. Angie Y. 01:27, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's just a triangle. I think so anyway. ~ iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 06:49, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the area between her neck, half breastplate, and spaulder (shoulder armor) forms a triangle, and that symbol on the half breastplate looks more rounded than angular. Bear Eagleson 04:36, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I still think the "symbol" on the armor looks like a triangle. ~ iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 07:25, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
At the moment it's too small to be sure. We'll have to wait until Season 4 to find out. Bear Eagleson 19:25, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

This season's gonna rock out, man! Angie Y. 13:58, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More so than when Franz Hopper tried to plink out Twinkle Twinkle Little Star over and over and over on the piano?  Jeremie@theLab

You got that right. Angie Y. 02:48, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Milly's role

Could you say me where you read Milly was Jérémie's planned girlfriend? I don't remember reading that when we spoke with a writter on the forum. 83.199.66.69 17:50, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember. But I heard it from somewhere. Angie Y. 18:02, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Love at the Kadic Lovers' Ball

[edit]
- XANA, invisible, went to Earth with the love potion, and he used it to make large numbers of people in Kadic Junior High fall in love. This included Jim and Suzanne, who were facing each other (they already are in love), William and Samantha, Jeremie and Aelita, and Ulrich and Yumi.
- Jim warned that the love potion, though of good, could undermine common sense, leaving its victims open to danger if they weren't careful. Jeremie agreed to this.
- The invisible XANA used love potion to make Sissi fall (more) in love with Odd because she was facing in his direction when sprayed with the potion.
- Sissi asked Odd to the ball.
- When Polymorphs appeared to confront the teens in the park, Odd told himself he had to protect Sissi.
- In the Lab, Sissi dreamily considered the name "Elisabeth Della Robbia."
- Later at Kadic, Odd and Sissi were leaning up against the lockers at school, flirting happily. When the spell from the potion was broken, the victims were unaffected and remained in love. XANA's plan had failed.
- That night at the ball, Odd was captivated by Sissi's beauty.
- As the young lovers slow-danced, Sissi told Odd that the two of them would finally be together forever once they were married someday. This caused Odd to blush again and Sissi to giggle delightedly again.
- Under the moonlight, Odd and Sissi kissed passionately on the lips. Jim wrapped his arm around Suzanne's shoulder and sighed dreamily.

Terima Kasih Banyak, Angie! thanks for your great work on Silat. It's great to see new information added, rather than just endless copy-editing. You're welcome. Did you know that several characters from Code Lyoko practice this martial art?

They are:

Ulrich wears a certain outfit when he practices his skills ([5]). Is there a name for the outfit, by any chance?

Maybe she likes doing it that way? Personally, I think Angie gets criticized too much for just being different or not totally in lineor doing things her own way. What's so bad about this individuality? Conformity makes things unhumanely boring.  Jeremie@theLab

I agree. I love my style. Angie Y. 23:15, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There, that settles it. I really don't think this is causing anyone harm, and its not as if Angie is an article-erasing vandal. This be a free country and if she likes her style, it stays. Case closed. Oh and Angie, I really wouldn't know how to make a website on GoDaddy. You'd have to ask you pals on Sailor Moon wiki about that.  Jeremie@theLab 19:38, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. okay. Angie Y. 02:22, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All I can say about this idea is...bizarre. I mean, Xana probably would do something like that, but there isn't a real love potion that he can take control of, is there? Or are you thinking of something like Laughing Fit? You know, some "love potion" that isn't actually supposed to work, and then Xana makes it work? --Aelita@Lyoko 17:09, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, just like the gas. Angie Y. 21:19, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there!

[edit]

Hi! My name's K9, I've heard about your New and Improved thing from A@L, and I would like to contribute! Every time Aelita tells me a story, I always enjoy adding a character of my own. Usually (more like always) it's a girl - exact age unknown - named Kida. In a story I've been trying to tell myself, Kida is a girl who virtualizes into Lyoko or wherever, and she meets Ulrich in Lyoko and falls for him. But she's really shy and doesn't spend much time around boys, so she's not sure how to tell him how she feels. If you like her, I'll tell you what she looks like in Lyoko and on Earth. -- K-9 LVR 20:27, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

She seems interesting. Tell me about her. Angie Y. 20:37, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well...on Earth, she's this girl about as tall as Ulrich, with brown hair that just passes her shoulders. Her outfit choices are very simple; if she's planning on going somewhere, she wears jeans, and if she's not, then she wears sweatpants or something equally baggy. Sometimes she wears this oversized sweater that has sleeves over her hands. She cares little to not at all about fashion, Sissi could teach her a few things if she wanted to. It's just that, as Kida says often, "If it's comfortable, who cares?" Concerning her attitude, she likes music because when it's live, like if she's watching a band, she says she can "feel it in her bones." Also, she's really shy, and she tends to hold herself off from everyone else because of it, plus she doesn't have a clue on how to talk about something that really matters to her, or do something that she knows is important - on Earth, that is.
  • In Lyoko, she obtains a completely different attitude: she's more outspoken, she isn't the least bit held-back, and she will give suggestions if not outright do what she's thinking. Her warrior key has her with cloven hooves for feet, three-fingered hands (and I'm thinking of the Mr. Spock thing, merged to three), white hair the same length as her own, and a golden spiral horn in the middle of her forehead. I keep changing whether she has pointed ears or not, and all I've decided about her outfit is that it's skin-tight.
  • Then there are her thoughts on the Lyokians. She's seen them often enough to make decisions about them. Ulrich - you already know. Odd - she thinks he's funny. Aelita - loves the hair. Sissi - think's she's kinda stuck-up. Jim - gets the respect a teacher deserves, but nor much else. Jeremie - he's smart, she likes his accent, but she sees something between him and Aelita. Yumi - no real decision. And by the way, she already has an idea on what's going on: she thinks that there's an enemy that nobody else has discovered yet, and Jeremie, Aelita, Ulrich, Yumi, and Odd are the only ones that know and fight this enemy. Sound pretty close, huh? But she doesn't dare tell someone her idea, for fear she'd get laughed at, or worse, put off. She just doesn't persist in something like William does. Oh - she'd moved there, and she'd virtualized into a different world from a different town - once. But because of it, she remembers return trips with amazing clarity, and she's trying to figure out how she's going to bring that one up.
Sorry if that's a bit long. But, well, I didn't realize that once I got myself started, I would think of so much stuff! So anyway, that's what I have. If you decide to use her, just let me know! If you decide not to use her for any reason, that's okay too. -- K-9 LVR 00:24, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I hadn't really decided on weapons. My description is for a unicorn girl, like Acorna.

A Freindly HELLO!

[edit]

You're right Angie, it has been too long since our last chat. And no wonder, it's been almost a month! Sorry, but life got crazy around Thanksgiving. But enough excuses! How have all your interests been doing lately? Any new news on Season 4 of Code Lyoko?  Jeremie@theLab 02:08, 6 December 2006 (UTC)~[reply]

Well, everyone starts recording this very month! =D And I've been working on several collaboration fan fics with a new friend. Angie Y. 02:12, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sweet! Looking forward to them all! Thanks for the image of the winter uniforms. I think Yumi's was the best.  Jeremie@theLab 02:08, 6 December 2006 (UTC)01:30, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What would Sissi's look like? Angie Y. 01:46, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've decided that image-posting is much easier than word description, so:
Put Sissi in that, and that would look just like her. The mozetta fur coat really suits her, and aren't the ruffles great? <spanstyle="background:#009;color:#fff"> Jeremie

@theLab 02:08, 6 December 2006 (UTC)21:14, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How have you been? Angie Y. 22:09, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I've been fine :D. My life is going well so far, I've got my health and my stress levels are low. Not to mention, as Christmas approaches I look forward to 2 weeks of break and sleeping in. How about you? Won't the Holidays be great?

So, about your new fanfic you mailed me, sound's interesting, at least for the utopian Earth thing. May I direct you to Thomas More's Utopia to give you some ideas on how to make a Utopian Europe. Actually...If this destroys the plan you had for your story, disregard what I'm about to say but...Wouldn't it be cool if Earth was a superficial utopia? What I mean is, Western Europe (France, Great Britain, etc) was the only utopia? What if Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas were all dirty, dark dystopias that feed and support the Western European Utopia via their toil and sweat? Just an idea, but it adds a new dimension of darkness and plot possibilities.  Jeremie@theLab 01:56, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just read your N&I!

[edit]

Hey, Angie, has Jeremie@theLab told you that I have more Internet freedom? I read your fanfic this morning, and I think it's terrific! (although, to be honest, you need to work on your grammar.) When's the next chapter? As for me, I'm thinking of adding my story on that site so everyone can check it out! As soon as I can get a title, I'll do it! Would it qualify as a fanfic if none of the characters are exactly the same? The closest in my story is Odd. -- Aelita@Lyoko  00:19, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I really hope that Matt Rozier returns so the next chapter can be posted. Angie Y. 00:55, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Matt...Odd? Hey, here's an idea for a title for chapter 10, if you don't have any prepared: Chronochaos. Chrono means time, so that would basically translate as "Chaos in time." Considering how chapter 9 ended, that would work! -- Aelita@Lyoko  23:45, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea! Angie Y. 18:47, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, whoever you are. I think that this chapter could have Jeremie trying to fix the return trip thing and making it jump all over the place by accident. You know? Like, um...for example, Odd is walking down the street and suddenly finds himself back in the cafeteria, where he started. This could also be where the gang meets K9's Kida, as she can remember the return trips and would be helpful in solving the screwup. I hope you don't mind that I'm tossing a few ideas of my own into your story; the scenario you've got in chapter 9 with the return trip thing not working could never happen in my story (for very long, anyway) because the return trips are fueled by the towers charging time, so as long as towers keep getting activated and shut down the return trip will work. If it does break and start screwing up, it would only do so until it runs out of "charged time." -- Aelita@Lyoko  16:28, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That last one was said by me. Angie Y. 18:47, 18 December 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Any new CL art developments? Angie Y. 18:50, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have any "art developments," but I would like your advice on the name of one of my Xanadian girls. She has gray eyes and red hair. Her hairstyle is about halfway in between Sissi's 'do in the Teddigozilla dance and Aelita's natural hair. She has a slightly snobbish attitude, can behave very sexily when she wants to and has a very nasty temper. Her name used to be Lara, but then I came up with another girl with a similar name (one I like better), so now the redhead's name is Ginger. You know, like the spice girl...I seem to recall from the papers that that particular girl dropped out. If you like the name Ginger, tell me; I personally think it fits. If you don't, then give me a different suggestion. By the time I landed on Ginger, I was pretty well out of ideas. -- Aelita@Lyoko (talk) 21:25, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big news, and I mean BIG!

[edit]

Firstly, and incredibly, Code: Lyoko is going to be aired in Japan!

The reason why this is incredible is because in Japan, out of all the animation that's aired on TV, only 3% of the total is foreign.

For Code: Lyoko to recieve valuable airtime on Japanese networks is tantamount to it's quality.

Also, Moonscoop is branching out - it's purchased a multimedia company called 'Queen Bee' and in 2007 comes the most extraordinary development of all...

MOONSCOOP WILL HAVE IT'S OWN CABLE CHANNEL!

No word of a lie - this new channel (called Kabillion) will broadcast in France AND the USA this year.

And this is all due to the runaway success of our favourite show.

From Antefilms, to this. In three years. That's...just...WOW!

Angie Y. 22:08, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No kidding! Not like I can watch any of it, but that is big news. Say...I thought of something else that you could toss to Matt about Code Lyoko Season 4. Remember from Triple Trouble when Odd was turned into three people? Well, that would mean that aside from the return trip, he has three different memories of the same day! Wouldn't that cause some kind of a challenge somewhere along the line? So one of the season 4 episodes could sort of follow up on that - like, a new minor ability born out of the triple memory. I mentioned the idea to my guitar teacher last week and he suggested a kind of increased insight. You know, different perspectives? That would be cool, especially for seeing through traps and illusions. Next time you talk to Matt, see what he says! -- Aelita@Lyoko (talk) 23:39, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am pretty sure that you visit Lyoko Freak or are from England and know Rhys personally, but just as a note, MANY people here don't know Rhys or know the things he has done for the Code Lyoko community. I'm not trying to sound mean, but you probably shouldn't mention him as a source of information because it probably falls under WP:NOR. It's gratifying to see a young person appreciate the classic Warner cartoons. They operate on more than one level. I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Dream world (universe), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Code Lyoko episodes

[edit]

You seem to be one of the few active editors on the Code Lyoko pages, so will you be fine if all of the episode articles are redirected to List of Code Lyoko episodes? If you need any specific reasons for it, see here. You can just reply on the episode list talk page (there is a discussion open). Nemu 18:06, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean by "redirected"? Everything looks alright from where I'm standing. Angie Y. 18:08, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:REDIRECT for specifics. Basically, it would mean removing all of the content, and just letting the article link the list when they're clicked on. Nemu 18:11, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, that's just dumb! Angie Y.

Regardless of what you think, do you plan on reverting it if it happens? Nemu 18:17, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah. Angie Y. 18:18, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Are you so set in your stance that even providing specific arguments from the policies and guidelines of this site won't get you to budge? Nemu 18:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There seems to be a lot more information in the individual articles than in the summary page. Is user Nemu proposing deleting that extra info? Wahkeenah 18:26, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The only other sections are quotes, which belong on Wikiquote, and trivia, which should be cut per WP:TRIV. Nemu 18:31, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. I just think this entire idea of deleting the articles themselves in a stupid idea. Angie Y. 18:27, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, well you have a incusionist stance, but if it can be changed a bit, that is fine. Per WP:EPISODE, if an episode is only a plot summary, it should be merged. They also don't really fit WP:N; the show is notable, but the single episodes don't meet it. There are no reliable sources besides the episode itself, which isn't good enough. Is that enough to convince at all? I can dig up more if necessary. Nemu 18:31, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You seem to be troubled from the episodes being redirected. All I can say is "suck it up." I have provide a decent rational for the actions, and you have not. WP:EPISODE is clear on which kind of episodes stay and which are removed. You may feel attached to the articles, but this isn't the place for that; you want TV.com. TTN 20:20, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SHUT UP!! You don't contribute anything! All you do is redirect episode articles with little explanation! You should be permanently banned from Wikipedia! Angie Y. 21:52, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What do mean by "little explanation?" I have started discussions, and all that junk. Even if I made an elaborate 100kb argument, you still wouldn't agree. And removing pointless articles is contributing, you're just too attached to them to think rationally. I'm sorry that your work has gone to waste here, but TV.com and somewhere on Wikia will probably take it. And PoD, just be quiet. TTN 22:05, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message. Yes, as I mentioned on TTN's Talk page, it's incredibly ignorant just to cast aside (in my case) months of work. Thanks to Gwinva and Tim!, all the YM/YPM pages have been reverted. There are many TV shows that have individual episode articles on Wikipedia, and equally a great many editors who give their time to maintain them. TTN needs to be a bit more considerate, IMO. I, too, am afraid of User:TTN. So afraid, in fact, that I'm logging in as an anon so that he doesn't know I'm talking about him. Chris 42, TTN has admin friends that he relies on to "keep his way" intact. You ask us to "revert our pages", but he just gets one of his people to block individuals who do that. Be careful, Angie Y, or you'll find yourself blocked too. 67.94.201.2 07:46, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He even has supprters backing him up! Angie Y. 20:47, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not too well-up on the situation, but deleting/redirecting so many articles like that is somewhat screwed up. We NEED television articles, as plot summaries in 'list of episodes' simply doesn't cut without proper articles. I understand some user's fearing of speaking out, but I will do so strongly and openly. Even if TTN can explain his viewpoint, doing things like this and not responding to anyone else's view properly is simply wrong - especially on a site that's dedicated to information. King Wagga 16:29, 7 June 2007
How are we going to stop him? Angie Y. 15:38, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There's no real way to stop him. He's wikibullying. The best thing to do is to hope that both sides learns something from the ordeal for wikipedia's betterment. Don't let it bother you and keep contributing to wikipedia. Keep up the good work. Zuracech lordum 05:11, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm scared to. He may bully me some more. :'( Angie Y. 10:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments made by Angie.Y

[edit]
1.) "TTN doesn't even add anything to his/her userpage",
2.) "We don't even know what gender you are"
3.) "very stuck-up and arrogant!"
4.) "I strongly suggest you pack your bags and leave"
5.) "will get you banned if you yourself don't clean up YOUR OWN messes. So I strongly suggest that you clean up the messes you made or you will suffer the consequences. Do I make myself clear?"

These comments irritated me somewhat.

1.) Is it a requirement that you must add to your userpage? I don't think that's exactly what wikipedia is about.
2.) Gender is of no importance to someones edits to wikipedia.
3.) This is an attack on editor not content.
4, 5.) This sounds like bullying to me.

You claim that TTN is being a bully, but I think you should examine the things that you are saying. It's not very pleasant. As a result of me making this comment, and showing that I am a "TTN supporter", should I now be banned from editing? ("you and your supporters should be banned from Wikipedia. --Angie.Y)

Codelyoko193

[edit]

They're back. Codelyoko193 02:35, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How are they back? TTN is gonna revert them again! :'( Angie Y. 02:37, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean this? Codelyoko193 02:39, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, the actual articles on the episodes! TTN deleted them with no permission to do so! Angie Y. 02:40, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Well I agree with TTN, whoever that is. Codelyoko193 02:42, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You do? But thousands of hours of hard work by editors is gone! Angie Y. 02:43, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seperate articles for episodes are unnecessary, as long as they are all in one place (this). Codelyoko193 02:46, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:King Wagga and I do NOT agree with that! This is Wikipedia, not a totalitarianism! Angie Y. 03:19, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia also has policies on what can be included. It seems likes the only argument you can provide is one where you stamp your feet and say "It's not fair", despite the fact that many editors who are involved with this discussion have given a variety of reasons why separate articles on each episode is a negative thing. TTN did not delete the articles, s/he redirected them, and the information is preserved in the page history. As well as this, you don't need permission to edit wikipedia- TTN was being bold.
Everyone understands that many hours of work went into making these articles, but the fact is that some, not all, should not have been made in the first place.
If you want the articles to stay, get sources for real world information. Make them rich in knowledge about why the directors choose to do certain things or the story behind why certain actors were chosen for the episodes. Plot summaries by themselves can be considered as copyright violation. Have a go at trying to get on board with everyone because they are really trying to help; they are trying their best to do what's right for wikipedia as a whole.
Seraphim Whipp 09:16, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
WP:EPISODE isn't a Policy- it is a Wikipedia Guideline, which is entirely different. I've noticed that editors here have been confusing the two, and would recommend that you embark on further study regarding Wiki's rule system so that confusion doesn't happen in the future. 67.94.201.2 03:01, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nowehere in my comment did I suggest that it was a policy actually. :-). For the sake of clarity, my first statement was referring to these policies:
I suggest Angie take a glance at these specific policies:
Seraphim Whipp 08:06, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I already did. Angie Y. 10:10, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is really, really obsessive. The episodes were merged; they are gone until proper sources are found. Merging smaller topics into larger ones is a natural process of this site. Obsessing over me, every person I talk to, and every discussion that I have isn't going to change that. So please, just work on productive things like trying to find sources for out of universe information to place on the Code Lyoko episodes instead of placing meaningless messages all over the place. TTN 12:21, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What do you MEAN by sources? The articles were properly-sourced, until you messed with them! If you were a little kinder and less disruptive, they would have been improved to look better, but NO! You had to be disruptive, didn't you?

A while back, I contacted a Wikipedia administrator about your behavior. If it is NOT stopped, I am afraid I will have to contact him again. Your behavior will NOT go unpunished, mister! User:Vilerocks, User: King Wagga, and many others would agree with me. Angie Y.

Reliable sources are needed, not primary ones (the episodes). Without those, a fictional topic cannot stand alone. It needs to be merged into a larger topic related to it or deleted if that is the case. I asked if sources were possible, and nothing was provided. They would still be the same if I had just went away. And remember, I contacted you in the first place, and I tried to be nice and patient, but you, like those other users, have a flaky understanding of our fiction guidelines. I doubt anyone is going to ban me for following them. TTN 12:32, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
So you're saying it was our fault?! Angie Y. 12:38, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's nobody's "fault." They were redirected because they fail the guideline. At any time, you are free to find sources and bring them back. That is it. TTN 12:41, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your behavior and constant deletion of information/redirecting of articles is angering lots and lots of editors and it may have even inspired one guy to want to vanish from Wikipedia. You need to STOP! Angie Y. 13:03, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, merging and trimming are part of the cleanup process. The people that wrote the information won't like it, but the articles never should have existed in the first place anyways. TTN 14:25, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They won't like it, because it's disruptive. --172.162.87.80 16:58, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Third Opinion Needed?

[edit]

I've been following the "debate" between you and User:TTN, and I think that it's time to move beyond negotiation and get a third opinion or a mediator. This whole thing is unconstructive, and it looks bad on Wiki as a whole for those involved. I've posted this on TTN's talk page as well. Suigi 03:48, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do I do that?

Wait, I know who. My friends at Lyoko Freak.

Angie Y. 04:10, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uh...no. The pages I linked to will yield a request for an unbiased third-party opinion, not someone from your Code Lyoko forums who will be biased in that they want the individual episode pages to remain, and will be on your side. And regardless, TTN has quashed the idea; since mediation is a voluntary process, that doesn't work. Check his explanation on his talk page. Suigi 04:37, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You know what the final step is, dontcha? Arbitration. Anyway, I have to go. It's my bedtime. Angie Y. 04:45, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As a neutral observer, I have already stated my opinion on this matter. I will repeat it again. TTN has justified his actions everywhere, and you should have seen it multiple times. His justification is that he is merely following policy. If you have a problem, do not pester the people following the policy, but rather try to talk about the policy itself on it's proper page. - Zero1328 Talk? 05:11, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's a guideline, not a policy. There's a difference, Zero1328. 67.94.201.2 09:24, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Whether it's guideline or policy, I still mean the same thing. There's no point getting angry at someone who isn't at as much fault, especially as the issue about him is now cleared. If you want to do something, go to WP:EPISODE and talk there, do not use TTN as a scapegoat to avoid the real issue. I have already seen enough incivility by everyone involved. - Zero1328 Talk? 16:54, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The issue has not been cleared, only archived with no resolution tag noted. Obviously, people are still upset at that editor's behavior. --172.162.87.80 17:04, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No, one person is dragging around their personal opinion to a number of other people's talk pages, looking for a fight in which they can recruit people. That person is Angie Y. with a couple of IP's siding with everything said. This is disruptive behaviour and it doesn't solve anything. What resolution are you looking for?
Seraphim Whipp 18:41, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alert

[edit]

I wanted to warn you about your behavior because it can be used against you. Your comments on people's page "do you want TTN gone?" appear as though you are trying to start a fight. I'd be very careful. I know you disagree with TTN's action, but you can't go around trying to ban people together in an effort to get others in trouble, or start a cyber fight with them. It just isn't cool, and I'm sure you could probably get blocked or even banned for it. Just thought I'd let you know.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 18:28, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Right, okay. I'm sorry. Angie Y. 18:29, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You don't need to apologize, I just wanted to warn you about it because there's no need for people to get blocked, or banned, if it can be avoided.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 19:27, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Angie, please stop with this. Again, there is nothing wrong with merging smaller topics into larger ones. You have no actual basis for your argument. People disagreeing with me doesn't make me a villain. I'm just cleaning stuff up. This is mainly due to the CL episodes, so instead of wasting your time on a crusade, go find some sources. TTN 19:31, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a bit shocked that TTN hasn't been temporarily blocked until the issue with his disruptive editing is resolved. --172.162.87.80 16:57, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? Sources, Shmources - THE ARTICLES WERE ALREADY SOURCED! And even if they weren't, you could have kindly directed us to places where such things were available. You COULD have been a little nicer, too! You are a Wikivillain, because you have failed a top guideline:

WP:DISRUPT!

I will have no other choice but to report you to the Arbitration Committee if you don't cease and desist this disruption. You are making editors ANGRY!!. I have been calm and patient, and I have tried to reason and discuss with you, but you did NOT listen to me nor any of the people you wronged:

among many others.

So please, please stop this. :) I'm trying to be nice, but firm. Angie Y. 19:42, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, merging isn't a bad or disruptive thing. Regarding the CL episodes, they had only primary sources, which, again, aren't good enough to warrant inclusion on this site. They need reliable, second party sources for that to happen. I brought the initial discussion to you, I gave you all the reasons, and I tried to explain it to you, but from what I recall you just said "That's stupid!" Who exactly is the civil one there? Making people that fail to understand WP:N and WP:V mad doesn't really matter to me nor would it matter to the Arbitration Committee or really anyone else. Just because a few people feel "wronged", it doesn't mean that I'm evil or disruptive. TTN 19:54, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh really? Angie Y. 19:56, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Ask pretty much anyone that doesn't deal with fiction articles on a regular basis, and they'll tell you the same thing. Please just stop with this. Nothing will come from it. TTN 20:04, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ALRIGHT ALREADY!! Angie Y. 20:09, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Using Vilerocks as an example isn't helping your cause, he has a history of not following policy, failing things such as WP:N and WP:V, as well as every single type of disruptive behavior you can think of. Just to let you know. - Zero1328 Talk? 02:49, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Biased attitudes agianst me won't get you anywhere Zero1328, as for TTN, if piss off so many people with your edits, I would advise you rethink your methods. Vilerocks 15:14, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I STRONGLY concur. Angie Y. 20:30, 16 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Your message

[edit]

Okay, Angie, I am aware of the incident. I noticed that lengthy thread on WP:ANI a few days ago (and already commented there). Still, I'm unsure why you need administrative intervention (deletions/blocks/page protections) here? :) I've looked at the contributions of the editor in question, apparently they haven't redirected any articles for the last few days. Merging per discussion is fine and not the same as removing articles (it is much better than simply redirecting) Anyway, I can see there's an on-going debate at talk WP:EPISODE. Rest assured that this editor is certainly not allowed to redirect more articles on television episodes until a consensus can be reached by that discussion. I'm sure User:TTN will stop for the time being as this is a fact that undoubtedly they (should) understand. You needn't be worried. Take care, Peacent 10:06, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I heard he will do it again. Angie Y. 15:05, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Huh, could you show me where they said that? Peacent 15:06, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. It was on...on...well, I do know it was a talk page. I just can't remember which one right now, but TTN said he'd revert more episodes. Oh, the ANI thread was deleted so I don't remember what you had said there. Angie Y. 15:18, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They might or might not, but at the least they must cease redirecting television articles until consensus can be achieved. Otherwise action will be taken against them, I assure you. Btw, the ANI thread wasn't deleted, it was archived. Peacent 15:48, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thank you. Angie Y. 15:57, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He's at it again...

[edit]

TTN is at it again! Angie Y. 11:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Oh no!

[edit]

Calm down, girl! That appears to be carried out due to proper discussion, they have reached a consensus. What is your objection here? :)

Btw sometimes people aren't calm enough to carefully choose their words in a heated debate, it is normal. Never mind them. Peacent 03:38, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My objection is that they can be improved to look better. Angie Y. 11:33, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Then you really should take part in the discussion and raise your opinion on how the article can be improved :) Peacent 11:35, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As long as you back me up. Angie Y. 12:27, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh well, I really should have your page watchlisted since you often reply to me here quietly :) Look, I have no opinion whatsoever about the article in question, they could merge the episodes into that page if there existed a consensus for them to do so. Should you disagree, you need to provide your arguments, otherwise they would be in the right. Peacent 13:49, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you about the consensus thing. But TTN needs to understand, loud and clear, that he is angering editors by doing it WITHOUT consensus - or at least without the permission of those who have busted their backs and spent timeless hours of hard work. He ruined my good friend Kevin's Code Lyoko episode articles (that I also helped him with) with nothing but a mergist and conceited attitude. My friends at Lyoko Freak are also angry at TTN and want him to stop this fiasco once and for all. :'( It is getting way out of hand! Angie Y. 13:59, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for arbitration

[edit]

As an Arbitration Committee Clerk, I have reverted your addition to Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration because what you were trying to do was not clear. If this is meant as a new case filing, then please fill out the template completely and place the new case at the top of the page (above all previous cases). If this is meant as a comment on an existing case, then please be more clear on what your position is and why. If there are any questions, please feel free to let me know. Thank you, Newyorkbrad 02:09, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I did it. Now what? I have never done this before, so please bare with me on this. For evidence of TTN's wrongdoing, please go to [7]. I'm sure you'll believe me. Angie Y. 02:16, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To make a request, please follow these steps:
  1. Copy the request template.
  2. Click here to edit this page, and paste the template below the line.
  3. Fill in the names of the involved parties, and provide links to any prior attempts to resolve the dispute (such as formal or informal mediation or talk page discussion).
  4. State your request in 500 words or fewer, citing supporting diffs where necessary. You are trying to show the Arbitrators that there is a dispute requiring their intervention; you are not trying to prove your case at this time. If your case is accepted for Arbitration, an evidence page will be created that you can use to provide more detail.
  5. You are required to place a notice on the user talk page of each person against whom you lodge a complaint. Once you have done this, post diffs of the notification to the Confirmation section of your request.
This is not a page for discussion.
  • Arbitrators or Clerks may summarily remove or refactor discussion without comment.
  • Please do not open cases; only an Arbitrator or Clerk may do so.
  • Requests from banned users should be made by e-mail to an active Arbitrator.
(edit conflict) I'm just a clerk, not one of the arbitrators, so I'm not the person to decide whether anyone has done anything wrong or not. I'm just making sure that the request is in a format that other editors can use.
You have correctly moved your request to the top of the page. Now you need to fill out the other sections of the request, which you should be able to see in the template. These include a showing that you have attempted to resolve this dispute by other means (see WP:DR) before moving to arbitration which is the last step in dispute resolution. You also need to give the other parties notice that you have filed for arbitration and post the diffs of doing that, and you then need to make a statement for the arbitrators to read of what the problem is and why you think they can help solve it.
If you look at the other cases on the page, you should be able to get a better idea of how this works. I'm sorry if it seems complicated at first, but imagine if you were an arbitrator yourself, and ask yourself what information you would want to have in order to decide whether or not to accept a case.
I hope this helps. Regards, Newyorkbrad 02:22, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Angie, I may be willing to assist you in your pursuit of ArbCom. I am not sure you should have filed this yet, but I know your frustration. I, too, oppose this Cabal of DIMEist. I think they have put themselves in an echo chamber and all they are hearing is their own cheering. They are not listening to the concerns of the community. You need to proceed carefully and professionally in ArbCom. Let's get several editors together to make our voices as clear as possible. Ursasapien (talk) 07:49, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to let you know that contacting editors to "fight tp save episode articles" could be considered canvassing. I was wondering where some of the names were coming from in the TfD. In the future, please do not solicite editor's opinions in matters like this, as it's not respectful to the system. I only happened to notice this on Schmucky's page, but if you are doing it on others' talk pages, then it would be wise to not any longer.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 06:25, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you remove your Request for Adminship, as you will certainly not pass since you are currently embroiled in a dispute (as per the Arbitration section above on this page). Episode thing

[edit]

What is your question about it? I'll try and explain everything to the best of my ability. Oh, we can respond here, so that it all makes sense to anyone reading.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:26, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What's the point of having it anyway? It's very confusing and stress-causing. All of the episode articles I've seen had an infobox containing the correct information (director, writers, airdate, etc.). TTN's deletion of the articles, even the ones WITH the infoboxes, made me mad. I'm sorry about getting mad, but the deletion should never have been done, at least not so quickly like that. I also wanna forget all I've done and move on. No one stays mad at me forever. My friend Matt agrees that what TTN and Ned Scott were doing was wrong. Plus, TTN puts the cleanup job on the editors that made these articles, so I'm really not the person anyone should point the finger at. I was just trying to get this person, whoever he/she/they are, to stop this before it's too late. I should have, however, remained calm and did it differently. Angie Y. 22:31, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What's the point of having what? Episode articles have infoboxes, ok? This articles contains the director/writer/airdates etc too, but it does it for an entire series. An infobox doesn't mean anything. IMDb.com contains all that information too, and we provide a link to them on just about every film, television, etc page. Matt is just an editor, just like myself, and you and Seraph and Ned and TTN. His opinion of other editors actions (when they are not actually violating any rules, though not agreed with) is irrelevant. I've personally established myself as an editor, and my contributions can back that up, but does that mean Matt respects me as an editor? No. I would be more willing to be that he doesn't care for me in the least, but his opinion of me doesn't change anything. You shouldn't base your opinions of others on what another user does or says. I've worked with many people who have ticked off a great deal more than what TTN and Ned have ever done. The "clean up job" is part of the responsibility of being an editor. Nothing says he has to do anything to an article. Part of verifiability is that the burden is on you (or whomever) adds information. No one has to come in and fix it for you, though I'm sure there are plenty of people that would and do come in and fix things instead of deleting them. Wikipedia is first and foremost an encyclopedia. It isn't a paper encyclopedia, but that only means we have more room for variety. Tell me. What is the difference between something like this, this, and this when you compare it to something like this.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:59, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa, whoa. Don't have to yell. I get your point. Angie Y. 23:21, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not yelling. I just tend to talk(type) a lot when I'm trying to explain things.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:42, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Still, regardless, I want it to stop. Do you see the SPEED that TTN is doing his so-called "edits"? Those are not edits, but unfair and unpermitted redirects. And a few friends of mine that I have made during this debate would agree with me. PeaceNT, for example, understands me on the issue in question and had agreed to help me out, saying that TTN should stop until consensus is reached. I agree with that statement. What TTN and Ned are doing goes against the very spirit of all wikis. How would you feel if your articles were merged without your sayso, hmm? ;) You would feel terrible wouldn't you? Angie Y. 23:55, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where does it state that you need permission to follow a guideline? Does the guideline state that articles that do not establish notability should be merged/redirect/deleted? Yes. Does the verifiability policy state that any unsourced information should be deleted? Yes. It seems more like you have problems with the policies and guidelines, since TTN is simply following what they say to do. There is no "mine" on Wikipedia. I created 5 film articles about a year after I joined. The JPS recently prodded them (Subspecies, Bloodstone: Subspecies II, Bloodlust: Subspecies III, Subspecies 4: Bloodstorm, and Vampire Journals) because they didn't contain any sources real world information. If you remember, The JPS voted to delete the review template. Actually, he prodded the first film and the third film for deletion. I prodded the second, fourth and spin-off film after him. Those were what you might consider to be my articles, in the effect that I created them. But I understand why they were prodded. Those films have "making of" documentaries on the DVDs, but I don't have the time right now to put that into action. When I do, I can recreate the articles. There is nothing that says an article must be created immediately. The entire idea behind notability, episode guidelines, is that you should create the article when you can fully satisfy the guidelines. Look at the link I gave you to my sandbox. That right there is proof that you can have a comprehensive article on an entire season and not split off every article (though I did split off one episode from that season, and that was the pilot). The point is, I'm not fighting The JPS on the prods, and I created the pages, and have been just about the only person editing them. I've had people say to me "why don't you go work on an episode article and see how it works", but I have (see my user page for proof). I've experienced a lot of the same things you are experiencing. Over time you come to understand why things are the way they are. You should have seen my edits when I first joined. lol. I've had the pleasure of experience the hard work put into an article, and it achieving a respectable status. I've also had the pleasure of experiencing things that I have created get nominated for deletion.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 00:23, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unferenced episodes tag

[edit]

Please take care when placing the {{unreferenced episode}} tag on articles. I've found two articles so far that have been tagged, but did in fact have secondary sources cited: Pilot (Lost) and Blink (Doctor Who). Choral Scholar

[edit]

Angie, I'm not sure why you tagged Choral scholar for deletion as a neologism. Please check through the links I've listed at the talk page, and you'll see that the term has a fair bit of history behind it. Thanks. --Ckatzchatspy 23:55, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That is why you provide sources. You know this very well. --Angie Y. 23:57, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, I concur with Angie, you should provide sources IN the article. Also, Ckatz, I'm slightly confused -- are you stalking this editor? Matthew 23:59, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Angie, the article was prodded for being a neologism, which it obviously is not. The article also links to another Wikipedia article which has a section entitled "Choral scholar". That article is referenced. Given that others raised the question earlier today as to whether you are tagging articles to make a point, it seems fair to question the action at "Choral scholar". --Ckatzchatspy 00:33, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your diffs. establish that it isn't, but you need to cite them within the article. You know this, I know you do. --Angie Y. 00:39, 11 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
This star is awarded to you, Angie Y., for your dedication and great contributions to the television show articles on Wikipedia. You are a wonderful editor, and no way your hard work could ever go unnoticed! With my respect, PeaceNT 03:35, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, my friend. :) Someday, the episode articles will be restored too. Angie Y. 03:37, 19 August 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Hello, I have fixed the infobox and re-added the appropriate editorial templates to this article. Per WP:A, "Editors should provide attribution for quotations and for any material that is challenged or likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. The burden of evidence lies with the editor wishing to add or retain the material. If an article topic has no reliable sources, Wikipedia should not have an article on it." I stress the last sentence. What I'm looking for here is addition of whatever reliable sources back up the existence of this article. I'm not even challenging the existence of those sources at this point, else I would take this article to WP:AFD. I believe strongly that for Wikipedia to be as useful as possible, people need to have confidence in what is written here. It is essential to that confidence that sources be cited. I'll stress that this isn't meant as a burden that you alone should feel you bear. If you don't want to cite sources, that's fine. The template is there to alert everyone to the need for those sources in the hope that someone will add them. Erechtheus 21:01, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It should be deleted though. Angie Y. 01:11, 21 August 2007 (UTC) [reply]

About your revert.

[edit]

I appreciate the fact that you want to improve Wikipedia's article on Jim Moralés. However, what I do not appreciate is when good faith edits, not unlike my own, are reverted without an explanation. For the time being, I have restored my edit. If you want to revert it again, I will not stop you, but if you do not offer an explanation, the result will be (more likely than not) an edit war. Please use your edit summary wisely, or take it up on the article's discussion page or my own talk page; please note that I do not have your User Talk on my watchlist, so if you reply to this here, I will not know.

Thank you for complying. A logical enough argument has changed my mind more than once, and hopefully your mind is open to my own proofs. Regards, You Can't See Me! 06:16, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop trying to make it seem as if they're dating or something of the sort. Read WP:OR. You can't just random pick episodes and draw your own conclusions, and doing it with earlier episodes to disprove later ones is especially nonsensical. Whether you like the pairing or not is irrelevant. What's said covers it fine, and introduced deliberately confusing statements into it defeats the purpose of the information. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 19:44, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Voice actors

[edit]

The Japanese voice actors aren't relevant to the English wiki, no more so than Tagalog actors are to Bleach characters. The only relevant actors are the original language and translated language ones. As for why I revert you so much, we edit the same articles and you have a tendency to add trivial things, such as random voice actors. PLus, you really need to stop linking random words like darling and bedtime. People aren't stupid, they'll know what those words mean. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 20:39, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They're not relevant to the English Wiki. The show isn't originally Japanese, nor is an English speaker going to be watching in it Japanese. Only the main source and relevant dub are needed. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 01:59, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Zim.disguise.pointing.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Zim.disguise.pointing.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. And also, it's not really a good idea to put the POV into pages like Jim Moralés. Some people might think he is relativley nice and disagree that he is a monster. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 03:10, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To both of you involved in the dispute, I'd say just try and work out a compromise. You're both being slightly hostile to eachother and both reacting on the way you are being treated. Use the time that the article is protected, to work out a compromise. If necessary, bring in neutral editors; I'd say get a third opinion. The people that help out there are very good.

Look at the season end credit! Angie Y. 21:57, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Original research. There can be more than one person by that last name. Maybe he has a brother. Point is, it's not confirmed, so don't add it. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 21:58, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just to add to that, I'll add Wikipedia:Original research Thanks, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 23:17, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you get the point: Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 21:58, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. I'd suggest stopping before you get blocked again. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 22:01, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop

[edit]

Hello, Angie Y. [13] Please stop adding that stuff to the article, it does not follow WP:NPOV. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 22:05, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You also might want to look at this rule. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 22:07, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And this too please. --NeilN 22:12, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
We don't want to start another edit war here, Angie, so I would recommend looking at hat JetLover gave you. Thanks, Codelyoko193 Talk Contributions 23:10, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Angie Y. I modified your edit here to make it read more encyclopedic, perhaps you could study my edit, as it is important to make edits look encyclopedic. Thanks, and happy editing! Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 22:16, 5 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

AfD nomination of Aoi Umenokouji

[edit]

Aoi Umenokouji, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Aoi Umenokouji satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aoi Umenokouji and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Aoi Umenokouji during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Doctorfluffy 05:28, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Point of View

[edit]

Angie, editors have told you countless times to stop having a point of view on articles. And now, on the Muppets DVD article, you place "unfortunately" in the section title. I would recommend reading any policy page about POV. Oh, and a Happy Thanksgiving to you! :-) Thanks!, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 17:40, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously, you need to stop. He is never said to be an expert, and it is irrelevant is Sissi happened to join the class. Please stop adding your POV. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 01:18, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Your obsession with Jim does not make him an expert, nor do two classes. Quit misinterpreting episodes to suit your POV. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 01:22, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Please stop. Please read the article about POV. I highly doubt you want another RfC. Thanks!, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 22:10, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Angie, I noticed some of your recent edits. These included original research (Peter Pan and the Grinch), removing my comments, and making POV edits. I, and other editors, cannot stress how much we would like you to understand the policies here. Please read WP:OR and WP:POV. It wouldn't hurt to read WP:TPG, as you are not allowed to remove other editor's comments, even if you don't agree with them (as you didn't agree with my opinion). Please read these pages, and ask for help if need be. We are trying to work with you here, so don't just ignore our comments. Thank you. Thanks!, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 23:33, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please listen to Codelyoko193, if this continues, I will make an ANI topic on this. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 23:44, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not ignoring you guys. Angie Y. 03:20, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yet you continue to make these edits. Thanks!, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 01:49, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Angie, please. You placed "finally" into an article. This means that you are on the side of the character, not on a neutral side (because some could think that Sissi should never get their respect). Thanks!, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 22:39, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Angie, I have had to report you here. Thanks!, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 22:57, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for this, but I have made an RFC about your conduct

[edit]

Hello, Angie Y. I am sorry, but I have made a second RFC on your conduct. I am sorry, but please read my reasons for creating this. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 01:16, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I made a comment at your RfC. Have you considered getting a mentor to help you with all the Wikipedia customs and courtesy issues? Ursasapien (talk) 08:20, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No. Angie Y. (talk) 16:32, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Does the "no" mean you have not considered it before or that you do not wish to enter a mentoring relationship. They have a great adopt a user program here. Ursasapien (talk) 08:57, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd recommend that. I;d be willing to be your mentor, if you wish. :-) Thanks!, Codelyoko193 (T/C) 22:01, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Capture33.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Capture33.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 02:56, 12 December 2007 (UTC) [reply]

An article that you have been involved in editing, Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might, has been proposed to be merged into another article.
