A favor to ask[edit]

Hey Bryan! Thanks for updating the weekly Billboard Latin Songs chart and a greetings for the Latin music project. I have a simple favor to ask of you. Since you seem content on updating the Latin Songs chart every week on the article for it, would you care to do the same for the Latin music portal? All you have to do is update the date and current #1 Latin and song if necessary. Cheers! Erick (talk) 03:14, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Thank you very much! I appreciated it! Cheers, Erick (talk) 15:10, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Credits on Justified[edit]

As I pointed out before, those artists are uncredited, in the physical album/tracklist and on iTunes. Those album tracks/singles have been referred to as solo tracks with no featurings, they chartes with only his name as well. Like most uncredited artist, their name are added on the liner notes. I suggest to add their names in a ===Notes=== subsection, like this one. Cornerstonepicker (talk) 03:51, 16 July 2016 (UTC)

Demo Castellon[edit]

Hi Bryan, please stop changing the name of Demo Castellon with an accentuate E. And also stop linking Madonna, Timberlake and the other musicians in the infobox because they are already linked and per WP:OVERLINK it is not needed. —IB [ Poke ] 19:40, 3 August 2016 (UTC)

Personnel[edit]

I just want to let you know that you're formatting Personnel sections incorrectly. it's supposed to be "Name - function", and not the other way around. Please check WP:MOSALBUM on other formatting styles. I'm not trying to be rude. I just work toward a consistent formatting throughout album pages. I thought you should know. --Jennica / talk 22:09, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for pointing out your concern. Curiously the formatting for the 'Personnel' sections I have been adding were taken from the format in various other album articles with way bigger profiles. Not sure which album articles use the format you mentioned, but apparently the majority of recent pop albums do not follow it. But maybe I'll try this format you mentioned from now on. In any case, presently, I think the information is still being presented accurately and well organized, as well as following the pattern in many other articles of higher relevance. @Jennica: Bryan McLaude (talk) 02:09, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

That's weird because I've seen the opposite. The majority of articles I come across follow the Name - function format. It's in the album style guide. I'm a stickler for following it so whenever I come across something out of the ordinary, I change it :). I have edited probably over 10k album pages and the Personnel section is formatted correctly 80% of the time. Articles like: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Joanne (album) and so on which I've not extensively edited on all have followed suit. I was just letting you know. :) --Jennica / talk 02:51, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Hmm... Well it does sound you have more experience on the matter... However, this year I've been helping out a bit in album articles predominantly (discographies by Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson...) and I never touched the Personnel section in those articles, maybe just to add a missing credit here or there, and if my mind serves right they had the same pattern I'm using to add the sections to the RBD albums. As a reference, check out Piece by Piece, Wrapped in Red (Kelly Clarkson albums). I went over them a bit very recently, but the Personnel section already appeared in the format I was mentioning so I didn't edited them as to me the layout was logical, easy to read and seemed to be the norm in most album articles I'd seen so far.. ...Though I see, you already went ahead and re-arranged... Bryan McLaude (talk) 03:04, 9 December 2016 (UTC) @Jennica:

Yep. I already fixed those. I have 2 python scripts they help me do it faster. I can't tell if it sounds like you're disagreeing with me. Here's the exact section I'm referencing: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums/Album_article_style_guide#Personnel - and it states "the format used here is "[Name] – [instrument]" --Jennica / talk 03:09, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Oh cool. Thanks for pointing out this other method. Perfect for saving time in these articles. @Jennica: Bryan McLaude (talk) 03:12, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

why did you revert my edits? I already linked you to the article :P in the first message I put on here. the WP:MOSALBUM - manual of style album guide ;) --Jennica / talk 03:14, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Thank you. The format you used in the 'Personnel' section in your latest revision to Nuestro Amor is much better. It's now better organized and had article links. Great job. I think I'll be using this format just like this one from now on. I'm sure you will too. Thanks again. @Jennica: Bryan McLaude (talk) 04:20, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

List of number-one Billboard Hot Latin Songs of 2017[edit]

Thank you for this edit to List of number-one Billboard Hot Latin Songs of 2017, but I was in a hurry at that time and was planning to go back and add Bieber in later. I'm aware Billboard began crediting Bieber from this week on, having edited Despacito with that information for the past week after it made the top 10 of the Hot 100. (Not that you would've known I did that, just informing you.) Ss112 08:40, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

July 2017[edit]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Rihanna videography.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. First of all, the article has a bronze star, do you know what does that mean? That it was chosen to be one of the best lists on Wikipedia. Also, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be edited from that point on, but the style of the article should be kept as it was when it was proclaimed as a FL. Second, your edits on it, border with vandalism to be honest. Why are you removing the sorting template? Third, I would suggest you to lower your attitude, because it will not do you any good here. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

List of number-one hits of 2017 (Italy)[edit]

Hi. I reverted this edit because you added one more to the rowspans when "Perfect" has only been number one for five weeks, and Vasco Rossi's album for four. (You also said you updated the list, but it already had been 10 minutes prior.) Just letting you know in case you missed the second edit summary I meant to write with the revert. Disambiguation link notification for January 27[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rise (Katy Perry song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Idolator (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:22, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Stop linking[edit]

Common terms in the articles. I have reverted you twice and you are still continuing to link these in the pages. Its getting to the point of overlinking and is not allowed. A common reader pretty much knows how to find New York City or Los Angeles from the search bar. —IB [ Poke ] 05:06, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

...Okay... No article links... Hmmm... Sure, I can do that. Beats the purpose of having them to make understanding an article easier but, OK, I can do that... Bryan McLaude (talk) 03:47, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 5[edit]

Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)

Lady Gaga videography (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to Masquerade

Invitation[edit]

Dear Bryan,

You are cordially invited to join the Portals WikiProject.

This is a very active project. We are in the process of completely revamping the entire portal system, and cleaning up the portal namespace. After these are done, we'll be greatly expanding the collections of portals. We have many design discussions going on, and many task types to choose from.

We also have a newsletter, that covers the progress of portal development, and the latest toys.

If you are interested, please feel welcome to sign-up at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Portals#Project_participants.

By the way, I'm very interested in what you think of portals. What do you like most about them? What do they lack that they should have? What can't they do, that you would like them to be able to do?

I look forward to your replies.    — The Transhumanist   09:16, 2 August 2018 (UTC)

P.S.: Please {{ping}} me in your reply. Thank you. -TT

October 2018[edit]

Please do not use the sidebar of AllMusic pages as a source for song or album genres, as it is considered unreliable per WP:ALBUMAVOID. Thank you. 183.171.113.141 (talk) 12:08, 16 October 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Shallow (Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper song). Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. —IB [ Poke ] 10:00, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
