Articles without sources

Please don't create articles without sources, as you did with Earl Greenburg. And especially don't include claims about sexuality with a source - regardless of whether the person is dead or not. Pairadox (talk) 20:54, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Ok Thanks i will argree with the articles without sources but in the obituary it says his former partner Rich ... and his life partner David ...... Mickey Renaud

It looks like it is going to be deleted. So god damn annoying. It makes no sense, he was definately notable. Wikipedia has an article on a bridge in Cambodia and that is more notable than this? Hi,


The all star game is an exhibition game. Sure, it has some of the league's biggest stars, but ultimately the game counts for nothing. Most of the players (admittedly) do not even give close to 100%. Kobe Bryant (one of the best players in the game) played all of three minutes. There are much more important things than an exhibition game. This is a place for contemporary geopolitical news relevant to the international community. This is not a sports bias on my part- i frequently add sports news, but not exhibition games. Please also note I am not the only user to remove this entry. There is a time and a place for everything. Current events is not the place for this. See you when Finals comes around. That was the friendliest warning I could find. "TBA" is wrong and inccurate. The participants will not be announced, they will be determined (hence "TBD"), not to mention that "To be annoucned" redirects to "To be determined" (so there was no reason to change the link). You may think TBA looks better, but TBD is more accurate and waht we at WP:PW use in situations like this. TJ Spyke 22:47, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. The license of Memory Alpha is incompatible with the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), and material from the site cannot be copied into Wikipedia.--Tikiwont (talk) 12:40, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Orphaned non-free media (Image:WuJin.jpg)

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
