Hello there
While agree the article is short on references/cites, looking at the content, it might be best if you added cn tags at specific points. A lot of the text is straight forward and doesn't need refs - other stuff I agree does.

Hey
Do you think it would be helpful to add the closed station names back in to this map? [[1]]

Fair use rationale for File:Dark Side of the Moon CD 1993.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Dark Side of the Moon CD 1993.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Parrot of Doom 01:05, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

What rationale do you use for moving this album in this way, and with whom did you discuss this move before making it so? Parrot of Doom 21:21, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- I moved the article as per WP:PT. There is no primary topic between the two, so they should both me disambiguated. –Dream out loud (talk) 22:28, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- Well I don't agree. Pink Floyd's Meddle is clearly the more recognised work of the two; the Little Boots song is, without meaning to sound snobbish, a rather insignificant pop tune. I'm not happy that there is any rationale for creating such a disambiguation page. Parrot of Doom 23:21, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- I have hatnoted both topics. My suggestion is that Pink Floyd's Meddle album is made the primary topic and that the Meddle page be redirected to it. SunCreator (talk) 12:52, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- More problematic then I first thought. All the articles that link to Meddle now go to a disambigious page. SunCreator (talk) 13:31, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

- Hi Dream out loud, I've moved the Pink Floyd album back to Meddle. There was a discussion at WT:ALBUM that I wish someone had notified you of. However, even if you had been told, I believe there's a very clear consensus that Meddle (album) is the primary topic. If you really disagree strongly, please discuss at the WT:ALBUM thread before moving it. Let me know if you have any questions. --Floquenbeam (talk) 23:52, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Achtung Baby on Dutch charts
You seem to have a knack for finding good information from some rather obscure references (e.g. U2 Live at Red Rocks). I was wondering whether you might be able to help me find what the true peak of Achtung Baby is on the Dutch charts/Mega Top Album 100. The dutchcharts website has charting history for the album, but it's for 1993 after the album re-charted - and the website for some reason does not have any charting data before 1993, despite the years prior being choices from the drop-down list. I've seen on various forums that it really peaked at #1, but I have no way of verifying that. Maybe you can help? For more info, check the talk page out. Re: U2Gigs reliability
I think that those uses definitely help with establishing its reliability (and come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that I used that Billboard article too in the "City of Blinding Lights" FAC when somebody questioned the website then, I think it was Steve who said that U2.com's tour section would be best for that kind of sourcing, though that doesn't help us out for anything earlier than the Vertigo Tour, and even parts of that are incomplete). I've never had a problem with using U2Gigs as a source myself and have tried to sneak it through on previous FACs, and I've even been in contact with Axver from the website before (during the first No Line FAC) to try and establish the reliability; he brought up that U2 themselves linked to the website in the liner notes for the dutch release of No Line. It's worth keeping it in there for now until the next U2 song or album article goes to FAC I guess; those uses are what help to make a source considered reliable by editors outside of the WikiProject/subject matter. If nothing else it gives us more ammunition for keeping the website as source, and at worst we can replace it with one of the various concert documentary books out there. Here's hoping that these are the final indications of reliability that we will need! Melicans (talk, contributions) 03:24, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Jaws 2, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Whisky drinker | HJ's sock 00:15, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- What the hell was that? Surely someone with 1500 edits and an IP block exemption knows better than that. Whisky drinker | HJ's sock 00:17, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm totally sorry about that, I feel pretty stupid. What happened was that I was testing the page because for some reason the "preview" button doesn't work correctly for me, and when I clicked on the "Fetch the page title" button next to the URL input on the citation menu, it saved the page instead of fetching the URL page title. I'm looking into both of those issues right now. –Dream out loud (talk) 00:21, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, in future, try to confine that kind of thing to the sandbox or your userspace. An admin with a less firm belief in AGF than I might have blocked your account as potentially compromised. Please be careful what you add to mainspace and if you do cock up like that, revert yourself before one of the automated scripts (like the one I'm using) picks it up. Whisky drinker | HJ's sock 00:28, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- I did go to revert the edit immediately but you must have beaten me to it cause I got an edit conflict error. But thank you for understanding. It seems both issues I'm experiencing are somehow related to the WP:WIKED plugin. –Dream out loud (talk) 00:30, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Stokes' Into the Heart 2009 edition
I noticed you added information from this book to "Unknown Caller". I don't have this edition of the book myself - I was interested in getting it, but then I read in an Amazon review that content from previous editions had been removed. Do you have access to this book? I'm curious what it says about "Moment of Surrender" and if there's anything in the book that isn't already in the article. Thanks. Google Archive request
Hi Dream out loud, I saw on the U2 References page that you have Google News Archive access. I'm currently trying to build up an article on "Slug", and somehow managed to get it to GA, but if I'm to take it any further I'll definitely need some more info on it's development and reception. I found a couple of articles that look like they may have some good content, but I can't view anything more than a brief abstract on them. Would you be able to help me with getting the information for them? The articles I've found are: Beauty Balances Bombast, Passengers, and Old pop, new punk.... Apart from those three, I think I've milked just about every source that exists on the subject (outside of blogs) dry. Cheers, Melicans (talk, contributions) 04:17, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
- I looked at the articles you requested through databases I have access to from my university. The article "Old pop, new punk" simply mentions that U2 is working with Eno on the OS1 album. There is no mention of the song "Slug", although there is a sentence that says "the Beatles, Stones and Who are slugging it out with the Pope and the punks". From the article simply titled "Passengers" from the Richmond Times, here's the excerpt that you were probably looking for:
Best songs: "Slug" and "Your Blue Room" are my faves. "Slug" begins with eerie, "X-Files" theme song-like music, then goes into Bono's smooth vocals. "Your Blue Room" is also one of the rare songs on this CD that this listener can bear.
- The article is very short and the above is the only mention of "Slug", but if you would like the entire article, send me an email so I can get your address then send it directly to you from the database. As far as the "Beauty Balances Bombast" article, Newsday is not available in the one database I was using and the library's website is currently down so I can't go about finding another database at the moment, but I'll keep you posted. –Dream out loud (talk) 06:28, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for sending it to me. Melicans (talk, contributions) 04:47, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Free to let me know if you need anything else. Also, I couldn't find a copy of the Newsday article in any of the databases, so unfortunately I can't help you there. –Dream out loud (talk) 04:55, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, no worries about that one. Judging by the snippet, it didn't look to have too much to anyways. Once I've returned to University in the fall myself, I'll hopefully be able to get more access to databases too. Let me know if there is anything you'd like from any of my print sources too; I think I'm the only member of the WikiProject the "Ultimate Guide to U2" magazine by Uncut, so there might be stuff I can find in there that's not available elsewhere. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
PLEASE NOTE:

- I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

Reverts on Talk Page
It isn't best to revert someone's talk page, even if you had a conversation started there previously as you did in this edit. I have found that upsets some users. I recommend reverting your post with the exception of your updated response. Also, as Fasach Nua appears to be offline, please let me know if I can be of assistance. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 07:06, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
File:Homer D'oh.png listed for deletion
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Homer D'oh.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Zooropa review
Since you have access to articles through your university, could you look at this article and tell me if there is a star rating that Greg Kot assigns to Zooropa? The Chicago Tribune website has a free version of the article, but there is no rating in it (and there was one in his previous review of Achtung Baby). Thanks. - Nope, there's no star rating. Did you still want a copy? –Dream out loud (talk) 05:00, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Nope, I'm able to read a copy from here. I was just wondering if a rating had been excluded from that copy. Thanks. Y2Kcrazyjoker4 (talk • contributions) 18:14, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
U2 tribute act at Red Rocks
Just wanted to let you know, I'm planning to upload an image of the tribute act that did the replica Red Rocks performance and add it to the U2 Live at Red Rocks article... that is, once the User:Flickr upload bot is made functional again. You can see what photos I'm looking at here. The photo I consider the best of the bunch would be this one. What do you think? Y2Kcrazyjoker4 (talk • contributions) 05:36, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- I think that's the best one too, especially since most of the others have the (copyrighted) Peter Rowen image in the background, and cropping it out wouldn't look that great. I personally don't like the Flickr upload bot and I just upload photos manually from here as I think it's much easier. –Dream out loud (talk) 19:55, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing that form out. I've added the photo to the article - let me know what you think. Y2Kcrazyjoker4 (talk • contributions) 20:56, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:12in single.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:12in single.jpg.
Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:00, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

I have replaced {{Market-Frankford Line}} with a physical diagram instead of the block rapid transit service diagram. Since you started the template in the first place, what do you think? — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 20:17, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Unusual articles edit
RE:this - I think the name 'Nunathloogagamiutbingoi Dunes' is fairly unusual, or are Eskimo names commonplace in beach nomenclature? Jebus989✰ 20:09, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree. But this page is for unusual articles, meaning articles with unusual topics. Sure the name may be unusual, but there's nothing unusual about a beach in Alaska. There is a separate page for non-unusual topics with unusal names at WP:Unusual place names. –Dream out loud (talk) 23:05, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Ah ok, that makes sense. Thanks, Jebus989✰ 07:12, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
