[edit]You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cullen328 (talk) 16:33, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
{unblock|My apologies. I was moving pages around and lost site of the draft vs article along with submission button. I was following the errors that showed up at that top and removed the link references that were detected. I was open to others reviewing my entry. But the button was gone, when I used the move function. Where do I go from here? I actually messed up my user account. It had been a while since i was last on here. I truly apologize. I was not meaning to be marked as SPAM. I believe it was due to a move function, instead of a draft and ask for review. It was an error on my part, after reading an article about a renaming of a page via a move. I now understand what that means. The pages are now drafts and I cannot edit to submit for review, because I am blocked form doing so. I believe I used a term raising profile. I meant creating and publishing a profile. twist on terms. }

To the admin reviewing the unblock request: GeminiSyxx contacted me by WP:EMAIL shortly after their unblock request, to the effect that they are a friend of the subject of the article, and they are, to paraphrase, attempting to raise the subject's profile. Karl Cochran (musician) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Karl Cochran (musician), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced (such as your recollections, or your conversations with his family members) should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your email
[edit]I received your email. Unless I have made an obvious error, I do not unblock accounts that I have blocked. I leave that to other administrators. As for your draft on Karl Cochran, vast swaths of it are unreferenced and some of the references that are there are clearly unreliable. We do not publish an article because somebody had stroke. We publish an article when the topic is clearly notable, and when the draft is well-referenced. So, if you are unblocked, take those requirements seriously. Please read Your first article and follow the advice that you will find there. Cullen328 (talk) 00:01, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
