Speedy deletion nomination of Mary E. Hutchinson

[edit]

Hello Jennifersyoung,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mary E. Hutchinson for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 15:39, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Preliminary Articles

[edit]

Another thing you might want to consider if you are creating a bunch of articles in advance for other people to work on is the Draft: space. Instead of calling your article Jane Doe call it Draft:Jane Doe. Editing the article is exactly the same as editing an article in the main space, BUT no one will pay any attention to it! When it is done, simply move it to Jane Doe. I really worry that if you create 20 or so almost empty articles in the main space, someone will tag them before your editors even get started. ubiquity (talk) 00:57, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disclosure

[edit]

Hi! I just wanted to give you a quick heads up. Last year the community decided to place some restrictions on people engaged in paid editing, so that they are now required under the Terms of Use to disclose their employer and the client when engaging in any paid editing on Wikipedia. There is a bit of freedom in where the disclosure is provided, but generally it is asked that you do so on your user page or on the talk page of the article. More details about the disclosure requirements are at Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. - Bilby (talk) 12:01, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Alli Royce Soble for deletion

Your draft article, Draft:Ruth Laxson

[edit]

Hello, Jennifersyoung. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ruth Laxson".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc, db-draft, or db-g13 code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. SwisterTwister talk 20:50, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

High Museum editathon

[edit]

Hi there, Jenniferjuniper. As you seem to be involved in today's High Museum editathon, I thought I should let you know that I have updated the assessments of most of the articles suggested for editing but see that the assessments have not been updated on the museum's list. It's an excellent idea to guide editors to articles requiring attention but for this to be effective, the assessments must be realistic too. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 06:53, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I asked for this draft to be reinstated on the same day it was nominated for deletion. It seems that now someone has published a version of this page that contains none of my content. I saw your message the same day you posted here, and tried to remove the code, but it had already been deleted, and it was not even 24 hours later. That is such short notice, and now all of my work is gone and not accounted for in the article created by another user. There was no response to my request for my draft article to be reinstated. Is it possible to retrieve the work I did so I can add it to this newly created article? Jenniferjuniper (talk) 02:32, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You can disregard the above request. I figured it out. Jenniferjuniper (talk) 03:27, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
