Hiya!
[edit]Hi. Okay. I was wondering if I could, you know, graduate from the adoption program? If not, thats okay! Just thought I'd ask! Dreamy 00:22, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Warcry
[edit]Hi, well I was wondering if you could tell me how to fix the == Band's Picture ==, I mean to put it in the top & the right part of the page.
- I need your help again, I wanna know if the WARCRY member, Victor Garcia. He really born in Brisbane (Australia).
Adoption?
[edit]Hey, I'm just wondering if you're willing to adopt at this time. I'm sort of getting the hang of Wikipedia editing, but I'd still like some help. Thanks a lot! --HAL2008 22:34, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Important Assessment Drive Notice!
[edit]Tux is here to say thanks for adding links to letters in the assessment drive!
On a more serious note, our template isn't really accepting List-Class. I think I could get it to work so it does, but I need an administrator (you) to change it, and someone a lot more experienced at templates to look over it to make sure I didn't mess anything up. Because I really don't want to mess up a template that's used on about 400,000 pages... The problem is it displays the List-Class just fine since it incorporates a template that's used to show the class in the colored box, but the template doesn't really accept the class. Since these pages are encyclopedic content they will be place in [[Category:List-Class biography articles]], which needs to be created. I'll be working on this later today or tomorrow. --Psychless Type words! 15:29, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
However, it looks like we've decided to just assess lists like regular articles, ignore my last comment. --Psychless Type words! 15:29, 10 June 2007 (UTC) 16:10, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Adoption
[edit]Hi, I believe I have a much more substantial grounding on Wikipedia and can contribute to it better in other aspects that I didn't previously. For these reasons I reckon I have "graduated" from WikiAdoption, so thanks for your help throughout! :) Incidentally, the article I was putting the fruits of my labour into has been promoted to Good Status, with some good judgement and editing from another editor, and WikiProject Munich has its own Good Article. I'd like to think that's a good note to end on. Oh, and exams are going well too. WilliamH 14:48, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
How?
[edit]How do I make a nomination page for adminship, if they already had one, but it failed? Is there something I can do? Please help. Dreamy 02:27, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Guess what?!!?
[edit]Guess what?!!? I have nominated you for bureaucratship, but I need to know if you accept this nomination. So please check out the link that I have provided, and we will go from there! Dreamy 00:19, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thats okay. And you're welcome! Dreamy 20:47, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey! Since you didn't accept your job, you have to notify people by placing an, I do not want to accept nomination message on the nomination page. Just saying. Runewiki777 20:52, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Los Lobos-The Neighborhood (album cover).jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Los Lobos-The Neighborhood (album cover).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:22, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

A question
[edit]On the Assessment Drive talk page you said you liked to tag articles with wikiproject templates. I've proposed a wikiproject that focuses on that, if you're interested please go here. A bot would generate lists of all articles needing templates. A few hundred thousand article by my estimates. Regards, Psychless 16:30, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Core Topics COTF
[edit]Hi, I hope you're doing well. I was wondering if you could take a look at the core topics COTF, and (a) add your vote to anything you might be willing to help on, and/or (b) nominate some other articles from WP:CORE or WP:CORESUP. I think this collaboration has done some useful work (most notably Antarctica, of course!), and so I don't want it to see it fade away. Thanks! Walkerma 05:36, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Non-free use disputed for Image:VA - Oh Brother.jpg
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:VA - Oh Brother.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:47, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Roboform, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Roboform is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Roboform, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Image source problem with Image:Brpslogo.gif
[edit]This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Brpslogo.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:44, 14 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Chuck Coleman-People, Places, and Flings (album cover).jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Chuck Coleman-People, Places, and Flings (album cover).jpg. Unspecified source for Image:Elvis_Presley-The_Sun_Sessions_(album_cover).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Elvis_Presley-The_Sun_Sessions_(album_cover).jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use.
If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:26, 10 February 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 05:26, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Adoption
[edit]Hi Mahanga. Since you didn't respond to my previous message about my reckoning that I have "graduated" from the adoption scheme, I'd like to inform you that I am delisting myself as your adoptee. Lately I'm particularly satisfied with my contributions to this article, and I look forward to continually making the internet not suck. Hope you are well and thanks for your help! Kind Regards, WilliamH (talk) 15:39, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Cheers. I noticed you pointed out that the intro to that article is too short - I did also and I've been sketching out ways to make it as it should be. I'm also pleased that I've been granted rollback - seeing as I dabble in heavily debated articles, such a moppish tool is invariably useful. I'd like to thik I have good reasoning in improving this place. Regards, WilliamH (talk) 11:37, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

improvement of entry "random hold"
[edit]Hi, Mahanga,
the above mentioned entry I created a while ago and surely is not anything of eternally perfection is rated stub and I finally made it to look up, by whom. What do you think would be essential for this article and is missing still?
I would bring into consideration, that RH is (sadly I think) not quite of the "world domination rock band"-league, so a certain limitation in length might be apt.
Thx for input,
