Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Moheen Reeyad, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! -- Samtar talk · contribs 14:22, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have unreviewed a page you curated

[edit]

Hi, I'm Robert McClenon. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Bangladesh Last House, and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you.

Robert McClenon (talk) 23:17, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Robert McClenon: Hi, can you please explain that what do you mean by "un-reviewed it again"? ~ Moheen (talk) 23:45, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
User:Moheen Reeyad - I removed the status of reviewed so as to allow someone else to review it. In particular, it needs copy-edit. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:56, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion sorting

[edit]

The most common way to create the "Note: This debate has been included in the list of..." messages in articles for deletion discussions is to include the line importScript('User:Fox Wilson/delsort.js'); // Deletion sorting script WP:FWDS in User:Moheen Reeyad/common.js, then use the Delsort tool choices it gives you under the More menu. I'm not sure how you've been doing it for your nominations, such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Syed Shahid (singer) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rokeya Lita, but the discussions weren't added to the lists (Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Bangladesh, etc.) until I added them today. If you can't get it to work for you, it may be best to leave deletion sorting up to other volunteers. --Worldbruce (talk) 06:42, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Mahasweta Devi (1926-2016).jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Mahasweta Devi (1926-2016).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:25, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kajal Gupta, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Indira, Abhimaan and Bandhan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:10, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted

[edit]

Hi Moheen Reeyad. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Swarm 05:37, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors

[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Nima Rahman. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Oleg Bezuglov for deletion

[edit]

Dear Moheen,

Since you sometimes take part in AfD discussions, could you, please take a look at the Oleg Bezuglov article and consider contributing your opinion in discussion on whether it should be deleted or not. It was nominated on suspicion for not passing the WP:MUSICBIO criterion. The discussion is currently dead in the water, and I'm afraid it might be relisted again because of that. Thanks in advance! Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Jism 3, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:31, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

File renamings

[edit]

Hello, just a note concerning your recent file renamings of map images where Nagorno-Karabakh was replaced with Artsakh. Please note that Artsakh is the Armenian and non-neutral name for the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region and associated self-proclaimed republic. The previous file names were correct and neutral, reflecting the United Nations stance on the region. As such these do not fall under criterion 2 ("a meaningless or ambiguous name"). Please consider reverting the file names to the original names. Thanks. Brandmeistertalk 10:14, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Brandmeister:  Done ~ Moheen (keep talking) 14:08, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to oppose the above user's comment. The file that you renamed back to its previous name, File:Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (orthographic projection).svg, specifically refers to the self-proclaimed republic, the political entity which was previously called Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, but is now called the Republic of Artsakh. The files that were renamed all refer to the political entity not just the region, so there is no violation of neutrality. The file's name is now outdated as "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" is no longer a valid name of the breakaway state (again noting that the map refers to the political entity). For these reasons, I would like to ask you to once again rename that file to "Republic of Artsakh (orthographic projection).svg" as that is simply the name of this self-proclaimed state and in no way a violation of NPOV. Thank you. --Growupon (talk) 04:24, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to also note that the main page here on Wikipedia has already been moved from Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to the Republic of Artsakh as per this dicussion. --Growupon (talk) 04:29, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability per WP:NBOOK, and no significant coverage online from WP: Reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mr. MacTidy (talk) 18:51, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
