Page moves

Please don't move pages to names that include disambiguation text like "(film)" unless it's truly needed because there's already a page at the basic name. That wasn't the case when you moved Ward 126 to Ward 126 (film). I've moved it back. Page names can be complicated here, as you'll see some pages with and some without that disambiguation text. If you're not sure about moving the page, asking on the article talkpage, or at requested moves talk page if the page should be moved can be helpful. Welcome to Wikipedia! About Draft:Anusha Rai

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Anusha Rai a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Draft:Anusha Rai (actress). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Note: My advice is to move this back to draft but ultimately it seems to be a case of local press reporting 'going viral' on a story that is not true or can be disputed. There are children all around the world getting black belts at very young ages, these children aren't all notable. Having looked at the ability of these specific children in their videos (as a black belt with around 20 years experience in karate), they are simply average for their age and in my karate club they would be exactly that, just average 10/11 year olds doing karate. All the press coverage seems to be local press who have sucked up the story they have been fed by the parents/teacher and re-printed. I can see no secondary sources to verify that they have actually won contests of any worth. My guess is that they have won 'club contests' and their achievements have been inflated. It's a sad story for these kids. I am frankly worried that there is a child protection/use case here bordering on a hoax, either their parents or their sensei are using them to gain prestige/advertising for their club through pushing their story to local news sources. I have just spent 5 minutes Googling 'world's youngest karate black belts' and there are hundreds of hits from children as young as 4. It would take significant secondary sourcing and a high profile verification from a body such as the Guiness Book of Records to actually call them 'the youngest black belts'. I'm sorry that your time has been wasted but you should have checked other claims of this nature before working on this article. Mountaincirquetalk 15:21, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Subiksha Krishnan

Hello @Monhiroe, I'm @Archer1234. Your most recent edit to Subiksha Krishnan removed some entries from the filmography table, but you did not explain the reason for the removal. The particular entries you removed did not have citations to reliable sources to verify them, so I am guessing that is the reason you removed them. Can you confirm or provide an alternate explanation?

Your edit also added an entry for chandramukhi 2 but you did not cite a reliable source to verify both that (1) Subiksha Krishnan is appearing in the film and, separately, (2) that the film has begun filming (which is required per WP:FILMOGRAPHY, which says "Do not add future projects until filming has begun as verified by a reliable source").
