Wellington Phoenix FC is a professional association football club based in Wellington, New Zealand, which currently plays in the Hyundai A-League. Their home ground is Westpac Stadium, which is located on Wellington's waterfront, and holds approximately 36,000 spectators. The Wellington Phoenix is also the longest running New Zealand professional football club, surpassing the now defunct Football Kingz FC.
