Wikimedia Mosaic

The Wikimedia Foundation is a non-profitable charity based in San Francisco, California. It operates many projects (which are listed below). The foundation's most popular project is Wikipedia, which has been awarded a Guiness World Record for biggest encyclopedia in 2008.

The foundation started in June, 2003. It was founded by Jimmy Wales, who is currently the co-founder of it.
