While this article includes its subject's birth date and the names of his parents (more than some "biographical" articles do), it then skips right to his career (at least the infobox mentions that he attended Santa Monica College). There's nothing about siblings, pre-college education, or other formative influences. About 17 years just vanish. Surely this information is out there. Year of birth

Good morning, I noticed the number of unreferenced edits, and consequent reversions, and I wondered if the following might help. I have found a reliable reference for Welker's year of birth and birth name (Franklin Wendell Welker): Hischak, Thomas S. (2011). Disney Voice Actors: A Biographical Dictionary. Jefferson: McFarland & Company. p. 221. ISBN 978-0-7864-6271-1. OCLC 793076664. Retrieved March 11, 2021.

I was thinking of changing the following sections and referencing the above by Hischak:

1. Lede - From "Frank Welker (born March 12)" to "Franklin Wendell Welker (born March 12, 1946)" 2. Simlarly, the dirth date in the infobox 3. and the opening sentence in "Early Life"

What do you think? Best regards, Gricharduk (talk) 10:58, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have been bold and made those changes Gricharduk (talk) 15:12, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Early life

While this article includes its subject's birth date, the names of his parents, and his father's occupation (more than some "biographical" articles do, e.g., Teresa Ganzel), it then skips right to his career (at least the infobox mentions that he attended Santa Monica College). There's nothing about siblings, pre-college education, or other formative influences. About 17 years just vanish. Surely this information is out there.
