Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits, such as the ones to the page Dulha Mil Gaya, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! - Managerarc talk 15:31, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition to Rakhi ka Insaaf has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. - Managerarc talk 17:53, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for digging out the Dell links, but per WP:ELOFFICIAL policy, "Wikipedia does not attempt to document or provide links to every part of the subject's web presence or provide readers with a handy list of all social networking sites." - most corporations would have a large amount of YouTube and Twitter type pages, and it doesn't help the reader to list them all. They can be found via the company's main website if they're important. --McGeddon (talk) 17:59, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Koi Hai

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Koi Hai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Veena Malik

Hi, I reverted your recent addition to Veena Malik (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). None of the material you added was supported by any reliable source, as required in a biography of a living person. Please re-add this material only if you can provide and include references to sources meeting Wikipedia's WP:RS standards. TJRC (talk) 18:40, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Shaadi 3 Crore Ki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Block

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 12 hours. You have been warned numerous times to stop removing speedy deletion templates from articles you have created yourself but you keep ignoring it, so this short block is to get your attention - if you agree to stop removing these templates, I'll be happy to lift the block. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:45, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry to see you have chosen to retire, but you must understand that copyright violation is a very serious issue, and you must not copy other people's copyrighted material to Wikipedia - that's why your contributions kept getting tagged for deletion, and your repeated removal of the deletion tags only made the problem worse. You are welcome to write about the same subjects, but you must do so in your own words. If you should change your mind and choose to stay, please have a read of Wikipedia:Copyright violations. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:10, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 100% Bollywood requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

File permission problem with File:Ali asghar.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Ali asghar.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 72.88.49.68 (talk) 00:16, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Zeeaflam.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Zeeaflam.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:13, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Christian-with-world-heavyweight-title.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Christian-with-world-heavyweight-title.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 14:32, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Pakistan International School Buraydah, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://pisbedu.com.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Series, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Series. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 18:41, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have retracted the speedy deletion; the reason originally given was a lack of content beyond the infobox; clearly this is no longer the case.
As for your reason to contest, in the future, keep an eye on the speedy template, and give a reason that contradicts the reason it went up - permission to create an article would work if somebody put the {{db-banned}} up on the page, but in this case, a better reason for contesting (in case I missed this) would be something explaining that there is content. (With the content, though, it would have been declined anyway, since the article does, indeed, have content since I posted the tag. =) ) --Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 19:35, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Need for Speed: Shift Series

Hi Irfanpuniali, you recently removed a deletion tag from Need for Speed: Shift Series. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 18:48, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Need for Speed: Shift Series. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 18:49, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at Need for Speed: Shift Series, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 18:50, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Need for Speed: Shift (series)

Hello, I have moved the article back to Need for Speed: Shift (series) as that is the consensus guideline on the naming format that series articles should take. You can see the guidelines at WP:NCVG. If you have a query about this please leave a note on the Wikipedia Video Games Project talk page at WT:VG and we'll be happy to answer it. - X201 (talk) 22:57, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:11, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Important

I left the following note on the Need for speed talk page. I have copied it here because it is important that you know about it.

It is important that you read WP:OWN. If you do not you may find your current course of actions may lead towards you being classed as a disruptive editor, or worse. Policy is VERY import on Wikipedia. I urge you in the strongest terms possible to read WP:OWN. - X201 (talk) 10:24, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Supersmackdown.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Supersmackdown.jpg.

You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 00:16, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Need for Speed: Underground (series), and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://needforspeedhotpursuit.org/need-for-speed-hot-pursuit-review/need-for-speed-underground-2.

(If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) The article Raaz (film series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I don't see why we need an article for a series consisting of two films which already have articles – all the non-crystal ball content here is duplicated at Raaz (2002 film) and Raaz – The Mystery Continues.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – hysteria18 (talk) 21:59, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Raaz (film series) for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Raaz (film series) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Raaz (film series) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. – hysteria18 (talk) 03:20, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Needs for Speed redirect

You don't need to (and should not) move a page to create a redirect. You can make a redirect by just creating a new page and putting

June 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to WrestleMania, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dcheagle | Thunder Up 20:11, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Survivor Series. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Dcheagle | Thunder Up 20:15, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Nokia7230black.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Orphaned non-free media (File:Zeeaflamold.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Zeeaflamold.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:09, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I'm really sorry wikipedia, I was trying to make articles more informative by adding images, but was unaware of what will happen after it, please for give me and unblock me. I will not upload non free images. Please Forgive me, unblock me. Mr.Irfan Nasir 20:02, 17 July 2012 (UTC) |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I'm really sorry wikipedia, I was trying to make articles more informative by adding images, but was unaware of what will happen after it, please for give me and unblock me. I will not upload non free images. Please Forgive me, unblock me. Mr.Irfan Nasir 20:02, 17 July 2012 (UTC) |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=I'm really sorry wikipedia, I was trying to make articles more informative by adding images, but was unaware of what will happen after it, please for give me and unblock me. I will not upload non free images. Please Forgive me, unblock me. Mr.Irfan Nasir 20:02, 17 July 2012 (UTC) |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}

You recently uploaded:

  • several non-free images, most recently File:Nokia7230blackfamily.png, Nokia7230black.jpg and File:Zeealwanofficial.jpg, that were falsely declared as "self-made" and freely licensed. While some were logos and might have been salvageable under a proper non-free use rationale, at least the Nokia ones were not.
  • File:Nfsmw2012logo.jpg without any licensing declaration, again falsely implying it was free.
  • File:Johncenaasmrmitb2012.jpg with an obviously false non-free description, claiming that it was to be used "as object of commentary", that the "article as a whole is dedicated specifically to a discussion of this work", that it was a "unique historic image", and that the source page [1] contained an explicit permission for use on Wikipedia. All of these four claims were glaringly wrong.

All of this after multiple warnings. Fut.Perf. 08:51, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is more of a situation of you should not upload any images whatsoever, period. I don't think you really understand the problems you have caused. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 20:20, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
