Theta Pi Sigma (ΘΠΣ), formerly known as Delta Lambda Psi, was started by Tim Lafond and Marc Garcia. There was a lawsuit with Delta Lambda Phi over the use over the acronym DLP. Theta Pi Sigma Alpha Chapter has voted and banned the use of the misleading word "frarority" due to the potential social and legal ramifications of the use of gendered language because Theta Pi Sigma is registered as a fraternity with SOAR. Theta Pi Sigma is the world's first regional queer-focused, gender-neutral fraternity on the verge of becoming national with international hopes in the future.
