Nickelodeon's 29th Annual Kids' Choice Awards is an award show that aired live on March 12, 2016, at the The Forum in Inglewood, California live on Nickelodeon and either live or on tape delay across all of Nickelodeon's international networks. Country singer Blake Shelton hosted the ceremony.[1][2] A simulcast was also carried in the United States on sister channels Nicktoons, TeenNick, TV Land, and CMT, as well as on Nick Radio, to maximize ratings numbers. A new series, School of Rock, which is based on the 2003 film of the same name, premiered after the ceremony.

This is the earliest Kids' Choice Awards ceremony date to take place, with the latest being the 1989 ceremony (June 25, 1989).
