Diva Dirt
Diva Dirt has not been proven as a reliable source per WP:PW/RS. Therefore it can and should be marked as "unreliable source?". The question mark means that it is a questionable source until it has been proven otherwise. Removing the tag is disruptive because people will not know to look for a better source for that information. Nikki♥311 03:20, 11 January 2018
- That's exactly what I said when I reverted it. It has not been proven yet, therefore it's technically not totally unreliable. But if it is such a big deal, why don't you start a discussion to get a consensus on it's reliability. Not hard. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 04:42, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- If it hasn't been proven reliable, then it can be questioned and therefore tagged. The burden of proof is on you. I can add an "unreliable source?" tag to any source, and the person removing it is responsible for proving the source is reliable or they cannot remove the tag. Why don't you start a discussion and get a consensus on its reliability? If it is found reliable, then you can remove the tag all you want. Nikki♥311 05:02, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- You can refute it's unreliable, but you have prove how it's unreliable. It's works both ways in some instances. Just to end this particular discussion, I'll start a discussion on it's reliability.Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 05:17, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

HIW HoF
Just so you know if you're working with tables it's good to remember to always format them correctly with a equal number of parameter sections for each example. Otherwise it might end up looking really wonky. Cheers.★Trekker (talk) 17:02, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
- There was nothing wrong with what I did. This is pointless. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 17:13, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
- Except that it broke the table and made it look wonky. Since I care about stuff not looking odd I don't think it's pointless, no reason to take it as some huge criticism. It's always good to make tables correctly.★Trekker (talk) 17:15, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
- Nothing was broken. All you had to do was edit it and not bother tell me. I would have been none-the-wiser. It's so minor that telling me was pointless. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 17:49, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
- Well I disagree that it's pointless. Leaving stuff looking like bad is not very nice and me pointing out this so you can learn not to do it again feels pretty right to do. Why are you so offended that someone gave you an advice on how to do something a little better? It's not like I was remotely aggressive or rude about it. Just because you don't care about formatting doesn't mean others don't.★Trekker (talk) 18:43, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
- I never said I didn't care. All I said was this conversation is pointless. All you had to do was edit it and be on your way. I don't need to know every little thing. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:17, 7 February 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 13
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cavan Cunningham, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bordertown (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:13, 13 February 2018 (UTC)

Ethan Page
Hey, I'm not sure if you were aware but there's an article for Ethan Page now. I know that you were working on it in your sandbox. APM (talk) 00:08, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
- You could have easily taken the stuff I did in my sandbox and put it in the article. You complete ignored it. I am in the process of doing major work on the article. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 18:01, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, I could've done, but I felt that would've be duplicitous on my part. It's your edits, not mine. And I didn't create the page, so don't jump the gun. APM (talk) 19:23, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
- I'm just saying you could have added things from my sandbox version to that one. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:30, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

Do you think this is ok to source for David Finlay?
Since you have the semi-draft in your sandbox I felt it was best to ask about this source for his engagement first.★Trekker (talk) 19:43, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. You can put that in the personal section of the draft article. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:52, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- I've added several links to reliable sources now to the section, do you think it could pass GNG now? It has Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Super Luchas and SoloWrestling now which are all reliable sources.★Trekker (talk) 15:36, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- @*Treker: Did you put that interview as source which sources nothing? I'm just wondering. I skimmed the interview and it's not the best interview per se. All the person asks are seeminly run of the mill questions. I will say that one of the few things from that interview that can be sourced is that he was the first POW Junior Champion. We don't need six reference to source one thing. You need to say enough is enough and stop with sourcing one thing because I am sure you can over source. Plus, you didn't format them. How reliable is SoloWrestling.com? Looking at the Super Luchas article, I would consider it reliable considering it has been in print form since 1991. Don't just source. Add actual information to the article. If you don't, it won't be moved to mainspace. If good you want to help, but it is imperative you expand the article as well. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 16:26, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- I put the interview in because it touched a little on his childhood which I think might be nice to have and that he's always wanted to be a wrestler. SoloWrestling has been deemed reliable by the project, it's partnered with a mainstream magazine in Spain and have editorial oversight for everything. And I can't write much about what the articles are about because I don't know Spanish (and because to be honest I kinda suck at writing BLPs and I don't want to poke around too much in your sandbox since you seem to agree that I suck at it), my goal was mostly to find sources that can be used and that would help establish notability. Sorry if you think it's unconstructive.★Trekker (talk) 16:33, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- @*Treker: It's not hard to put David Finlay was born on May 16, 1993 in Hanover, Germany; the son of David "Fit" Finlay. Something to that effect to start off his early life. If you can find his mother's name, that would be helpful to add it to the article. I don't remember saying you were terrible. If you think you are terrible, you'll never get better if you don't try. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 16:55, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- It's not about you saying specific thing but I can clearly tell that you think my edits aren't really too great a lot of the time. I mean just look at right now, my edits clearly seemed odd to you. And I do try to make BLP's but not sure if I feel comfortable with poking around too much on someone elses sandbox since you use your sandbox very differently from me.★Trekker (talk) 17:08, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- @*Treker: Considering some of the articles you want to create, working on, improving, and want to improve; they are biographies. A big part of that is writing and expanding. Like I said, you'll never get better if you don't try. You can help, that's not an issue. Just don't stick to sourcing because there is not much to source with what is already there in the David Finlay article. It is never going to get moved to mainspace if it doesn't get expanded. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 17:15, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- I am trying here, but I guess I wanted to ask you first, and the reception wasn't very encouraging to be honest. In the end I guess I should just be bolder and not care too much if my edit suck at first.★Trekker (talk) 17:25, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- @*Treker: Don't get upset that what you add gets edited or changed or whatever. Be bold. That's what I am saying. Anyways, let's move on and work on the article and in time will be ready to be moved into mainspace. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 00:26, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- His mother shows up in the documentary The Fit Finlays, her name is "Mel" seen here at 30:36.★Trekker (talk) 15:18, 10 September 2018 (UTC)

Canadian Screen Awards
The entire base concept of the Canadian Screen Awards is that they represented a merger of the Gemini Awards and the Genie Awards. That's already noted and referenced in all three of those articles, so I don't see that it would be somehow necessary to comprehensively redocument and re-reference every individual CSA category's individual status as an individual continuation of its individual Gemini or Genie predecessor in addition to what's already present in the main overview articles. canvassing rule
To avoid violating WP:CANVASS you have to contact everyone who participated in the deletion discussions before, not just those who wanted to keep the article. I see you contacted a lot of people, but didn't bother checking to see who or why. Just make certain its done properly or someone will surely whine about it. WP:VOTESTACK is the part of that page which says that. Dream Focus 04:47, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Canadian Comedy Awards
Hi! I see you've been doing some edits for the Canadian Comedy Awards and what looks like the first in a series with 1st Canadian Comedy Awards. I'd looked at the subject a few months ago but was having trouble putting together sources for a thorough overhaul. I think it's a worthy subject and would love to help out, as time and commitments allow.
I'd also like to let you know that Sifr4 is connected to the Awards and a valuable resource on the subject. He recently notified me that they'd announced nominees in the 18th CCAs.
I thought I'd best check with you, if you have any plans to continue editing on the subject or if you have sources to work with. Please let me know, thanks! – Reidgreg (talk) 17:27, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Reidgreg: Yes, I can help. What have you got so far for sources? I don't know what the actual category names are. Also, I don't know if the multiple wins and nominations sections are accurate. Mike Myers played Austin Powers, but both Myers and the movie are mentioned in both sections. Now would Myers be listed on under the movie and not himself? Or is listing both appropriate? Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 02:52, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
- A GA review just started on my first article and a time-sensitive article I wrote may need to be restructured, so I've suddenly gotten busy! I can tell you offhand that the names of the awards given ("categories") changed quite a bit year to year. I only have a few secondary sources I was able to find, and for primary sources there's canadiancomedyawards.org and www.canadiancomedy.ca – the .org is the current official site and the .ca was the site of the old license holder which remained up after the license expired. (There was a transitional period over the last year or so as the license on the trademark expired, and one year they didn't have a lot of time/resources so there were only about 8 categories voted by Internet, but now that's all sorted and they're having a full awards year.) The new license holders were trying to take the .ca down so not sure how long it'll last. – Reidgreg (talk) 02:48, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Reidgreg: Doing a search, a bunch of links came up to various things on the awards. It's for different years and whatnot. So there is that. I also stumbled upon a category for the Canadian Comedy Awards. It isn't populated at all. The one entry Erotic Laser Swordfight has two lines. Sure it is award winning, but unless it can be expanded, I am going to put it up for deletion. I did a search and not much comes up for it. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 14:56, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- Most of the search hits I get are just so-and-so won this award this year, with relatively little on the awards themselves. I'll try to do a more thorough search at some point. I was also thinking about doing some category work for the winners, once reviewing the names of the awards and how to generalize them. I think that main category would be a catch-all for all the other categories (e.g.: Canadian Comedy Award winners for best male stand-up – but the names change year to year and it might be better to generalize with a single cat for all stand-up winners) as well as the yearly articles and the main article. I guess they were trying to use the award to demonstrate notability for Erotic Laser Swordfight. But yeah, I'm not sure I've seen a stub shorter than that. – Reidgreg (talk) 15:29, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Reidgreg: I rescued Sara's Secrets from being potentially deleted. I expanded it big time and it was only one line. Beat that. Ha! Do you object to having Erotic Laser Swordfight put up for deletion? We need to exhaust all options for sources. But anything you can find that is usable is good. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 01:12, 6 May 2018 (UTC)
- I found a review which I added to Erotic Laser Swordfight. The review is kindof self-published but seems reliable enough (his website has an article, Chortle) so hopefully is good for a source. I've gathered other sources for the CCA which I hope to go through and update the main article, maybe next month. – Reidgreg (talk) 20:40, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Reidgreg: Don't add Erotic Laser Swordfight to the main Canadian comedy category. Add it to the sub-categories for more specific categorization. As far as the Canadian Comedy Awards go, the main article needs to be cleaned up. If you are willing to do the bulk load of the clean up, I will let you do it. I will help were necessary. The new license holders were trying to take the .ca down so not sure how long it'll last. – Reidgreg (talk) 02:48, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Been a couple month! I've expanded a bit on what you wrote for the first awards ceremony and used it as a basis for drafts on the second through eighteenth. There are maybe a couple C-class, most are at least start-class, and there are a half-dozen that could benefit from additional sourcing. I've done some prep work for an expansion of the main article but I need to take a break for a bit and it'll probably be a while before I have a draft ready. You can find all the other stuff linked at User talk:Reidgreg/Canadian Comedy Awards. Would appreciate your input when you have a chance. – Reidgreg (talk) 16:40, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Reidgreg: Move everything from the draft to the mainspace 1st Canadian Comedy Awards that isn't there. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 04:50, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
Notice
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Opinion about AfD notification. ansh666 17:38, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
- Since the ANI closed I shall reply here, since you seem to need the clarification. Being solicited to vote in an AFD on something that annoys me is what temped me to vote for delete. You are the one who did the soliciting. Then you lecture me at ANI about why I Don't Like It is a bad reason to vote. No shit! That was my point. When someone tells you that you inspire them to vote I Don't Like It that might just mean they are telling you that you are annoying them, especially if the context is an AFD. Too much stupidity everywhere. Just look at the size of the ANI archive as a broad example. It is at 983 pages today. That is 983 pages of people saying someone did something and i don't like it so i am reporting it that they may be sanctioned. Then the person reported says something like 'but babies really shouldn't be given candies'. One either develops an addiction to it or they get away from the entire WP namespace. You pulled me back in, so of course I wasn't giddy or thrilled. I do however remain delirious & lost ☯ ~hugs~ 23:06, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
Festivals of Saskatchewan
It is not up to me to search for these suspicious looking festivals that keep popping up on this page. If it doesn't have a source I use my judgement whether to remove it or not. I notice they now have citations -- except for this one "Backwardsness". Is this also a legitimate festival. -- Kayoty (talk) 16:30, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Kayoty: There are lots without sources. So obviously you don't. Those two festivals didn't just pop up. They have been there for awhile. It is up to you to help source. The correct thing to do if you don't know something is to search it. You wouldn't have removed them if you did a search. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 16:59, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Television series by network
I see that you went on a categorization run last year related to Food Network (Canada), so I wanted to clarify for you: Category:Food Network (Canada) series and the {{Food Network (Canada) series}} template are not applied to every show that has aired on the channel regardless of where it originally came from — they are used only on Canadian-produced shows for which Food Network Canada was the originating broadcaster.
We don't categorize shows for every network that has ever carried them at all anywhere in the world, because that would create extreme category bloat (just try to imagine how many "network television series" categories The Simpsons would have to be added to, for example) — we categorize and template shows only for their originating network in their originating country. A show can be listed in List of programs broadcast by Food Network Canada regardless of where it came from, but it only goes in Food Network Canada's category and only has Food Network Canada's navbox template added to it if it's a Canadian show for which Food Network Canada was its originating broadcaster. Bearcat (talk) 18:42, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Bearcat: If we are going to parse down both the category and template, The Inn Chef shouldn't be there as the Food Network aired it in syndicated re-runs. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 02:48, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
Fish
The current champions are Undisputed Era (KO and Strong) since they defeated Bate and Seven during the NXT Tapings. I changed the article because it said the second reigns, he is recognized under the freebird rule, but we don't have source about a freebird rule during the second reigns. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 12:13, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

The article NWA Arizona Heavyweight Championship has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Please add your refernces to HIW Internet Championship. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 13:29, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Boleyn: I know what I am doing. If it bothers that you that I didn't immediately source it, you can easily do it. That's the point of Wikipedia. If you looked at every unsourced article, you'd be spending all your much time telling the creators of the articles to source it. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 16:04, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
Question
Just curious, do you represent Joseph Motiki? He told me he had a representative that frequently edits his Wikipedia page for him. I know anyone can edit the page, but I'm just wondering if you're the representative. Carrie 94 (talk) 13:45, 20 October 2018 (UTC) @Carrie 94:
- If you notice on my user page that there is an icon at the top of my page that says I have been editing Wikipedia for at least ten years. In fact, I have been on Wikipedia 13 years. I have over 21,000 edits? If I represented him, why would I spend 13 years editing other article and amass over 21,000 edits. Do you not see the irony in saying he "told you" such a thing? It's looks bad on you. You outed yourself as being connected to the subject. So maybe you represent him. Don't revert. He is a voice actor. Performer is highly vague. That could mean anything. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 15:57, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
First, there is no need to be so rude. I only asked you because I spoke with him via private messaging on Facebook (here's the Facebook link if you don't believe me: https://www.facebook.com/joemotiki/) and he stated that some representative was the main editor for his article. Also, if I represented him, why would I ask YOU if you represented him? Did you not read that part? Saying I'm "outing myself" by doing that doesn't make sense since if someone represented someone else they wouldn't be asking some other person if they represented a person they themselves are representing! Also, I never put the performer piece there to begin with nor did I remove it - it's still there if you look. Anyway, this discussion is closed as I am no longer replying to anything you say and will be removing any content you post on my page. Carrie 94 (talk) 20:10, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Carrie: You're the one who has been in contact with him. I've never spoken to him in his or my life. I've edited a lots of biographies and some multiple times. That doesn't mean I represent them. I guess editing biographic articles means you represent them. You edit his article and nobody questioning whether you represent him. When I removed "performer," you reverted it. People get notifications when you revert their edits. When I went to go revert it back, you did that already. That was after I said not to revert it. So yes, yes did revert it. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 20:44, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
Just to clarify something: I reverted that edit BEFORE you messaged me.Carrie 94 (talk) 22:22, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Carrie 94: That was after I told you not revert back to "performer" as I said it would be reverted back as I would going to revert back to it saying "voice actor" in this infobox. We're done here. Move on. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it!
Yes, let's move on - fact is I reverted it BEFORE you told me. Anyway, I spoke with Joseph Motiki in private message on Facebook and his representative will take care of it when they come back from break in a couple of weeks. When that happens, you can deal with them. Carrie 94 (talk) 23:45, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Carrie 94: It is highly frowned up to be closely associated with Joseph Motiki and talking to him and editing his article. Wikipedia wants to be neutral and you might not edit that way. Refrain from talking to him if you are and editing his article. I had issues on another article with someone in contact with the person the article is about. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 23:55, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
It isn't frowned upon if the person is living - wouldn't you want the article to be accurate if the article is about you? Please contact him if you have any issues on Facebook. And, like I said, in a couple of weeks you can contact his editor when they fix what was removed (Performer). All edits I made were neutral point of view - I follow that rule closely (I was an editor on here in the past - from 2005 until September 2015 - but only edited from IP Addresses; I never edited Joseph Motiki's article until recently) .I won't put it back in since I know your response, but I informed him and he explained why that shouldn't have been removed (after he looked at the article). He said it is one of the items he is supposed to be associated with. Anyway, this discussion is closed and any issues you have can be mentioned to the person that manages his article when they come back in a couple of weeks. Carrie 94 (talk) 23:59, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Carrie 94: You should not be talking to them about Wikipedia. Wikipedia doesn't want the living subject to be involved in editing an article about themselves. If they are found to be doing that, they could face being blocked at the worst with the article being deleted. It's not on them to leave out accurate information or determine what should be added and removed. That's not how Wikipedia works. If it can be verified with a source, it can be added to an article. Having "performer" in the infobox or anywhere in the article can't be verified and isn't accurate. Therefore, it shouldn't be in the article. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 00:15, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
Ways to improve HIW Internet Championship
Hi, I'm Boleyn. Fishhead2100, thanks for creating HIW Internet Championship!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please work on this in draftspace and move back to mainspace when it is clear that it is notable and has references.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
Boleyn (talk) 17:26, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Boleyn: This is pretty condescending considering I've been here for 13 years. Plus, if you look at other title articles I've created, there are no sources, but you're not quick to do anything about them. A little hypocrisy here. I guess I didn't put sources in it quick enough for you which is why you did what you did. You could have easily helped and added sources. Again, I know what I am doing. I didn't know I had to jump when you snapped. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it!
- I'm surprised that anyone who's been around a while would create unreferenced articles. I cannot easily add the sources you used - only you know that, and it is hard (and often inaccurate) when editors have to add them later. It is not hypocrisy that I have not reviewed every articles you have written, but I can look those over too if there is an issue with sources. They can easily be moved back to the mainspace once they're ready. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 18:58, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- I've looked over your article creations and you have indeed repeatedly created unreferenced articles. Can you please add your references to: 1st Canadian Comedy Awards, List of festivals in Manitoba, NCW Tag Team Championship, NCW X-Treme Championship, NCW Cruiserweight Championship, NCW Triple Crown Championship, NCW Inter-Cities Heavyweight Championship, NCW Quebec Heavyweight Championship, UWN Tag Team Championship, List of festivals in Vancouver, List of Guy's Grocery Games episodes, List of golf courses in Saskatchewan, List of festivals in Winnipeg, List of festivals in Toronto, Tenpohzan Grand Prix Championship, List of programs broadcast by NBCSN, List of programs broadcast by OLN, List of programs broadcast by TSN, List of programs broadcast by Sportsnet 360, Osaka Pro Wrestling Battle Royal Championship, Osaka Meibutsu Sekaiichi Championship, Osaka Pro Wrestling Owarai Championship, HWA Television Championship. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 19:26, 20 October 2018 (UTC)

- @Boleyn: I wasn't talking about me strictly. I am talking about every unsourced article on Wikipedia. There are thousands of articles that have no sources. Why don't go through those as well. I don't spend every minute of my day on here. So maybe I'm a little slow on getting sources. The way you came off, although not intended and in faith, came off a little condescending and rude. That is especially with your Tea House comment. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 20:41, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- I give many hours a week to looking at how to resolve unsourced articles, by adding sources, moving to draftspace or whatever is most appropriate. They are about 200,000 of them - that is not a reason to add more. It's not about asking you to spend more time on here - it's asking you to add references before you put an article in the mainspace. Draftspace and sandboxes help prevent the frustration of seeing your work tagged or deleted. Boleyn (talk) 20:49, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Boleyn: The way you came off was the problem. You treated me like I was some new editor that doesn't know what they are doing. The fact you suggest I go to the Tea House is pretty insulting. It's good for people who need it, but I don't. If you actually knew how much time I've spent looking for sources and references for various articles, you'd be much more understanding. Hell, I don't even know how much time I've spent looking for sources and references. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 20:59, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- DO you think you will be adding references to the articles above or were they WP:OR? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 21:02, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Boleyn: Don't you have other people to annoy? You said there are 200,000 unsourced articles. You are not stuck on people to annoy. ;) But honestly, you're not acknowledging the way you came off. Have a good day. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 21:10, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not trying to annoy, I'm trying to resolve these unreferenced articles, and it would be really helpful if I knew if you were planning to work on them and/or were able to add references. If not, I can go through them and reference, shorten, draftify or tag for deletion, whatever seems most appropriate, but often the creator is the person who does the best job of resolving these issues, hence me letting you know before I did anything. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 21:30, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Boleyn: Again, you are ignoring how you addressed me. You talked down to me and were condescending. I would like if you acknowledged that you did that. You are so focused on me that you're annoying. Thousands upon thousands of articles that have no sources and you decide to annoy me. By the way you came at me, you made it sound like everybody else has to source and find references just not you. It's not cool to threaten someone to either find sources or the article will get deleted. That's not cool. Yes, deletions happen and that's fine. But they way you came at me wasn't. You need to slow your roll and chill. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 23:31, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- That whole comment says far more about you than me - you read a lot into my messages that is clearly not there. I do not think it is 'for everyone else' to add references, but the WP:BURDEN for adding references in these cases is with you: The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution. I'm not focused on you - I have tried to communicate with you as part of my efforts to resolve unreferenced articles. Instead of resolving it and working together, you've just repeatedly attacked. I won't message you again, but if you are planning to work on the articles, ping me so I leave them for a bit to give you time to work on them. Boleyn (talk) 07:03, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

@Fishhead2100 and Boleyn: I'm going to butt in here because I hate seeing good editors fighting. Boleyn has taken on an unenviable task which I'm sure elicits a great deal of complaint and not much thanks. Nonetheless it is vital work which keeps up the quality of articles and Wikipedia's reputation. That it addressed some basic policy issues is why I assume this thread began with mention of the Teahouse – I'm sure that's a form letter from the page curation tool and not to be taken personally. Fishhead, you also do good work here. When you created 1st Canadian Comedy Awards that gave me a kick in the butt to work on the series and gave me a good format to apply across them. The way I procrastinate, I don't know that I would have otherwise written all those drafts.
Boleyn is not a deletionist and did not threaten to delete the articles, but simply noted that they do not currently meet policy and could face deletion. Boleyn could have arguably tagged the unsourced articles for speedy deletion but instead has taken the time to notify you of its issues. The 1st CCA article was allowed to stay in the mainspace for several months to be sourced and otherwise improved, and really it's my bad that I've hoarded potential improvements in draft space. I've added references from a national newspaper to 1st CCA to demonstrate notablity for that article but would ask that the content remain in draftspace until ready for DYK.
I understand the frustrations at finding sources on important subjects which don't receive a lot of media attention (for some reason, comedy is not always taken seriously). But in the same way that we summarize what is reported in reliable secondary sources, we also need those RSS to tell us the subject is important in the first place. For the notability of a list, you need a RSS which lists items on that specific subject to show that it's important enough for its own list article (it doesn't have to be a complete list, but a RSS which shows the association made by the list is important). I wouldn't be able to justify List of Canadian Comedy Award winners for Best Direction in a Feature because I've only ever seen that listed by the primary source. Primary sources can be used for attribution of the list itself (if non-controversial) but a secondary source is needed to demonstrate notability.
I hope that cooler heads will prevail and that our limited time as volunteers can be put back to improving articles. – Reidgreg (talk) 16:59, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, Reidgreg, and I see you've added refs to one of the articles. I've moved Draft:NCW Tag Team Championship to save it from being outright deleted - Fishhead, you're welcome to work on it there, or not, as you wish. I'll go through the others slowly. Regina categories
Please note that the rule for city categories is that they have to be named at the same level of disambiguation as the city's article is. If the city's article is at Saskatoon, then its categories go at "X from Saskatoon" — but if it's at Regina, Saskatchewan, then its categories have to go at "X from Regina, Saskatchewan". List of festivals in Manitoba moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, List of festivals in Manitoba, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - @HHH Pedrigree: I don't follow the British scene that close either. IPW:UK site is not kept up to date. Wrestling-Titles.om is slightly out of date for that title. I use Cagematch too. I haven't started the article yet. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 03:36, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
Canadian Comedy Awards
Hi again! I'm trying to put together a six-article DYK hook for Canada Day (July 1) and was wondering if you might be able to do a GA review of Made in Canada? If you don't have time this week, let me know and I'll ask at Wikiproject Canada. – Reidgreg (talk) 14:07, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Reidgreg: I've never actually done one. I could do it, but I am not confident in doing it. I've started looking at the article. I've noticed some things so far. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 01:49, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply. I've gone ahead and made a request of a more experienced reviewer. If you see anything you can improve, though, please do. It's also listed at GOCE for copy edit which it should get before 1 July. – Reidgreg (talk) 13:03, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
- I noticed a couple of things. In the infobox, it says the show is 30 minutes. But that would mean there are no commercials. Other shows say 22 minutes for example in the infobox. The other thing is, in the article, it says: "The programme received critical and popular recognition. It was particularly well-received by the industry it lampooned, attracting many guest stars and winning numerous Gemini, Writers Guild of Canada, and Canadian Comedy Awards." That should be referenced. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 03:45, 4 June 2019 (UTC)

A small thing
Hello, I have indented [2] your comment at Talk:Dean Ambrose to make it clearer for the eventual closer of the discussion. Please revert if this was a mistake by me. starship.paint (talk) 12:15, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Starship.paint: It is fine. I pinged him and responded to him specifically. I didn't even notice I forgot to do that. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 17:59, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, cheers :) starship.paint (talk) 00:07, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

Error
I have to say this was inappropriate and unnecessary. THE NEW ImmortalWizard(chat) 16:33, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- @ImmortalWizard: Why is it inappropriate? He embraces the fact he is Jewish. He doesn't shy away from it. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:42, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- Doesn't matter if he embraces it or not. The fact is if he is provided as a Jewish-American, others should be African-Americans/European-Americans. THE NEW ImmortalWizard(chat) 18:05, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- @ImmortalWizard:You don't say European-American. You would say for example, German-American. Regardless, it was not inappropriate. I am not going to revert it. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 06:32, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

Opinion
Do you think that if someone removed the list of movies and specials on List of programs broadcast by YTV it would be considered vandalism? I have thought about removing it (before you posted this on the talk page for List of programs broadcast by YTV but am hesitating since someone (an administrator) might consider it vandalism. TheBlackKitty (talk) 19:05, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
Never mind, I removed the list (per Wikipedia:Listcruft). You can revert the edit to the page if you like but I agree, it is a pointless list. TheBlackKitty (talk) 19:25, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- @TheBlackKitty: It would be quite pointless for me to bring it up then revert it. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:43, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
I know; some editors will bring something up then revert it for no reason (I'm not saying you would; I just mentioned this because sometimes editors change their minds). TheBlackKitty (talk) 23:44, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- @TheBlackKitty: The only time you would have a film section is if it is a film produced by YTV. They don't so that won't happen. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 00:34, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

The Who did not release Who on November 22
The album was obviously delayed. Announcing a release date doesn't mean it was stuck to, and there are just as many sources confirming December 6 as the release date. I don't think I need to educate you on the fact that albums get delayed all the time, but it seems by changing the release date you were unaware of this. Otherwise, please prove that it was actually available from somewhere on November 22. I saw nowhere that it became physically or digitally available until last Friday. If it were available prior to this, it would have charted already. Simple as that. It's the Who. Ss112 03:12, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Ss112: It should state as such that it was delayed. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 04:16, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
- Perhaps there is not a reliable source that states such. Some news sources just alter their own articles to state a later release date without clarifying. If I can find one, I'll add it, but it clearly was not released on November 22. Ss112 04:51, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
