List of productions impacted by the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike

Productions not affected
The strike does not apply to SAG-AFTRA members who work under those contracts that are negotiated by the union separately from the AMPTP contract, including broadcast journalists.[111] SAG-AFTRA does not cover soap operas, nor does it cover voice acting for animated television or video games, though it does forbid voice work for feature films during the strike. It is unlikely that the production of upcoming animated films will be affected, as voice acting is usually completed before animation begins. Work in podcasts, productions from companies not members of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (includes "micro-budget" independent films and student films) are allowed, as well as "unscripted" television work such as game shows, reality competition shows, documentaries, and talk shows.[112] Independent producers not affiliated with the striking parties can make their own interim collective bargaining agreement with SAG-AFTRA to continue work.[113][114] In August 2023, SAG-AFTRA announced a modification to the interim agreement process – WGA-affiliated projects which are U.S. productions will no longer be granted interim agreements.[115][116] However, this "decision will not affect the 207 projects that have already been approved".[116]
Union actors are permitted to do promotional work, such as interviews, press meets, or red carpet events for non-member films if they have their own individual contract or the union has a collective bargaining agreement with the producers. However, they're still not allowed to do so for films from Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers members. This led the cast of Oppenheimer to immediately leave the red carpet event for the film's London premiere after the strike was called in Los Angeles.[117][118]
