APK noticed this comment and decided Jennavecia deserves the highly coveted Tamer of the Koi Award™. Certain Wikipedians are like koi - their mouths are always open, they fight for attention, and all hell breaks loose when it's feeding time. Occasionally, a Tamer of the Koi will remind the fishies why they're here in the first place. Some will shut their mouths and listen to the Tamer, while others choose to continue bitching; even if that means some good koi grow tired of the situation and leave the pond. APK hopes the bad koi will eventually learn their lesson, but until then, he supports your sentiment.

"The Admin's Barnstar"
Problem with barnstars is, that you never find one that you can use at a given time for a certain task. So, unfortunately, there is no "you are doing a great job, keep doing it"-barnstar (probably because some people would get too many of them^^).
So, with the situation in mind, I decided to create a new barnstar which can be used exactly for those cases, where you want to honor an admin for their great work but all other barnstars do not apply. And as I created it with aforementioned message to you in mind, I wanted to give the first one to you. You keep protecting pages at a lightning speed, no way I can keep up with it. So sorry that I used {{RFPP|ap}} today on one of them, too late realizing that you already started working the page. Greetings, SoWhy 18:09, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
The Anti-Flame Barnstar
Your work in helping Dtiberio understand what Wikipedia is for, how to use it, and why some of the things the editor has done were Not Good Things is excellent. Wikipedia Brewed Beer
Hi, I saw Camp Tamakwa on WP:ANI last night, did a quick copy edit and added it to my watch list. Then went to the IP, but of course you'd sorted that already - so have a beer for making that extra effort to be nice - and this time I've put your bling on a page where you might spot it more easily ;) Anyway I've been meaning to drop a by and say thanks for those lovely words you said in support of my RFA, - I know its not traditional for RFA failures to send thank spam but then mine was not the most traditional of RFAs, and your note was one of the nicest notes I've had since I came here, and as I think we've both changed names since our previous chat I figured we'd both lost touch. So cheers! ϢereSpielChequers 17:24, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Thank you so much, dear Lara! I simply can't find the right words to express my gratitude for you extremely kind words, and your beautiful gift; so I'll choose the hardest path, and that is, I'll let a smile and a little flower speak for me, instead of ruining this beautiful moment with wordy and endless ramblings... as I so often do! :) May this be but he beginning of a long, shiny friendship, for nothing would please me and honor me more. Special gifts

[edit]

Smiling is contagious,
you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner
and someone saw my grin
When he smiled I realized
I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile
then I realized its worth,
A single smile, and just like mine
could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected -
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected!

Have a beautiful weekend, dear Lara!
Love,
Phaedriel

Thanks for your spirited and passionate contributions to the encyclopedia, and for your sense of humor, kindness, and willingness to tackle difficulties head on. Lar's comment of support in the 2009 Oversight election

This user has clue, shedfuls of it. This user understands the BLP problem and has the right approach for dealing with issues related to BLP victims. This user has experience in the trenches, and the trust of the Foundation as evinced by OTRS access. This user is willing to do the right thing and sticks by her principles. This user speaks her mind, even when to do so means political damage to her ensues. We need more users like this one. In my view Jennavecia is the best candidate running for oversight (with the possible exception of Thatcher, who already has it and just wants to be confirmed) this round. With no disparagement intended, I nevertheless am profoundly disappointed in each and every one of her opposers for opposing, not because I doubt their good faith, but because I am confounded as to why they do not see these things as clearly as I do. ++Lar: t/c 07:00, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
