Naratetama VVIP Airport is an under-construction airport, that is expected to be operational in August, 2024.[1] The Very Very Important Person (VVIP) Airport, also known as the Naratetama Capital of the Archipelago (IKN), is for welcoming state guests in Indonesia.
Development
The terminal area of the airport is about 7,350 square meters with an airport area covering 347 hectares. The runway under construction measures 3,500 meters in length and 45 meters in width, allowing for the landing of large-bodied aircraft such as the Boeing 777-3000ER and Airbus A380.[2]
Aprons of the airport is capable of accommodating three large-bodied aircraft, helipads for three helicopters, and various other supporting facilities will provide comprehensive services for all types of flights.[3]
