My request is to change the dates for inauguration TheWikiUser210938 (talk) 02:16, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Charliehdb (talk) 12:19, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Shortening the header of chief ministership.

The content is too long. It could be summarised and shortened since most of the related content is already at the Chief ministership of Narendra Modi. — Hemant Dabral (📞) 17:08, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It should be shortened, but throwing out whole sections isn't a reasonable way to do so. Also, the content being at a subsidiary article is not a reason to remove anything: by definition, anything in this article should be covered in its spinoffs. I'd say the development projects and debate sections could probably be brought down to about three paragraphs, and the specific statistics are the best targets for pruning. But we really need an affirmative consensus here before removing text that was written with extensive accompanying discussion, and has been through a GAN and a GAR. Narendra Modi was awarded Russia’s highest civilian honour, the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle by Vladimir Putin during his visit to Russia.[1][2]
I think the user that made this request was asking someone to add this information under awards and recognition section of the article. EliteFairy (talk) 04:57, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Consider adding "Order of St. Andrew" honorific prefix in the info box. Also consider mentioning it somewhere in Awards and Nominations subpage. (refer to Order of St. Andrew's last induction for more info). Contributor2020 (talk) 15:06, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Added to the awards section. We don't include these sorts of awards as a prefix. RegentsPark (comment) 15:22, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What's with the edit warring over this? IP, I'm going to revert you; please come in and discuss. Valereee (talk) 12:56, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My point of view is that the WP:Discrimination project was there for a very long time on the talk page of Narendra Modi. why User:Rasnaboy suddenly removed it without reaching consensus on this matter. You can check the history. Moreover, in the main article, the discriminatory tone is clearly described in the main body of the article. Hence, I have re-added the project; if other editors think the WP:Discrimination project is not required, then we can remove it. There should be proper consensus on this matter. And moreover, why was the was the WP:Hindusim project added? Is he a Hindu spiritual and religious guru like Adi Shankara, Ramakrishna, or Ramana Maharshi? If the WP:Discrimination project can be removed, then WP:Hindusim project too should be removed. He is a religious bigot, which is clearly described in the main article with proper sources. I'll notify that project that there's a discussion here. Valereee (talk) 13:17, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
