The following is an episode list for the Fox animated television series Family Guy. The series broadcast on January 31, 1999 and originally ended on February 14, 2002; however, after increasing numbers of DVD sales, and an increasing amount of views on Adult Swim, the show resumed airing on May 1, 2005. A direct-to-DVD feature length movie, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story was released on September 27, 2005 as a spin-off of the main series. A second spin-off series was broadcast, Up Late With Stewie and Brian, in an attempt to produce and promote the shortlived television program, The Winner.

Currently, the first four seasons are available on DVD Volume 1, 2, 3 and 4, and the first thirteen episodes of season 5 available on the Region 1 (US) DVD.

The show is currently airing its sixth season, which began in September, 2007, with a seventh season scheduled to air in 2008.

  1. ^ It is unknown how many episodes Vol. 6 will contain. If it follows the format of Vol. 3, 4, and 5, then it will have 13-14 episodes, which would include the remaining five episodes of season 5 and the first few episodes of season 6. If Vol. 6 does not follow this format, it is possible that it will include the last episodes of season 5 and all of season 6. The WGA strike may also affect how many episodes are in season 6, in turn affecting Vol. 6.
  2. ^ Originally unaired by FOX, this last episode first aired on Adult Swim on November 9, 2003[1]. FOX eventually aired this episode on December 10, 2004 (familyguy.com guide). It was included on the Season 2 DVDs in the UK and Australia, and eventually included on the Season 3 DVD in the US. (Callaghan, Steve (2005) confirms both dates)
