Collaboration

The following proposals for collaboration have been made.

support. That's not a bad idea. however we'll need support from at least 3 people (or 3 more supporters than opposers) to get it approved. keep in mind that it's good to find articles that are well written and that most wouldn't have read otherwise. --preschooler@heart my talk - contribs 17:19, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • oppose I'd have to agree with Steve on this. While this is a good article, I don't think that it's the one we want to stand behind. I would much rather see something more related to Missouri make it to featured status. Amalas =^_^= 17:52, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. wait, what are you referring to in your opposition? "the day after" or "Missouri"? --preschooler@heart my talk - contribs 19:16, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oops... I meant to say that I oppose The Day After. Amalas =^_^= 20:19, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • oppose OK, the unknown newbie chimes in. The Day After is a great article, but I don't think playing up a program about the end of life as we know it would necessarily be the best sort of advertisement for the state. I personally think playing up some other article which might need more work, like Lewis and Clark, Harry Truman, Louisiana Purchase, Branson, Missouri, St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. Route 66, or even KMOX might function as a better advertisement for the state than an end-of-the-world story. Granted, any other would need improvements, but those could be made a priority of the group. My personal choice would be U.S. Route 66. There's a great exhibit at the Jefferson Expansion about the subject, and I could try to get some good photos and other items to upgrade the article. Of course, I don't necessarily know what I'm talking about. Feel free to heckle. Badbilltucker 01:23, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article Collaboration

This section is designated for an article that will be temporarily featured for article improvement. Nominate articles that are of significant importance that you feel need to be revised to meet higher standards.

The Current Collaboration is Tom Pendergast.

Notes:

  • I think i have a good picture, but i'm not sure how to tag it. i got the pic from the Kansas City Public Library, which I am assuming is not-for-profit.

Lists

I did not know where to put these because it did not seem to fit properly under Articles and List because they do exist, but it needs a lot of work. (Steve 21:14, 25 November 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Articles and Lists

Here is a section of articles and lists that either need to be created or revised. If you feel a Missouri-related article needs to be created or revised, please post it here.

Article Revision:

Article Creation:

If someone could give me a link to a similar page to use as a template, I'd be willing to tackle this. mobyrock 04:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
a article about the school instead of placing it in the city page... a student can update it daily..

List Revision:

I've worked on it some, but it still needs tons of work. P.Shack 21:38, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List Creation:

I believe this already exists, List_of_Missouri_counties. -- mobyrock 13:52, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, List of Missouri counties just redirects to List of counties in Missouri (note the lowercase 'c'), so I think we can safely remove this... Amalas =^_^= 14:15, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Requests

Things to do

  • Place {{WikiProject Missouri}} on talk pages of all articles found on {{Missouri}} and subsequently all cities, counties, regions, government articles, and other relevant articles. This is essentially busywork and any assistance is much appreciated. As far as I can tell, all articles in categories regarding missouri are covered except for the subcategories below, but if you see any articles regarding something that is applicable to the wikiproject, tag it. preschooler@heart 20:25, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sections left: These are all subcategories of Category:Missouri . Note: Some of these may not be relevant to missouri due to sections involving Kansas City, Kansas and East St. Louis Delete from list when complete.

Category:Kansas City metropolitan area

People from Missouri

Registered Historic Places in Missouri

Sports in Missouri

  • Note project-relevant articles that are in need of revision or creation and place them in Requests category

Why was this removed? Still needs some help. --Kallahan (talk) 21:33, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
