Dispute resolution clause: By posting on my user talk page, you agree to resolve all disputes that may arise from your interactions with me through the dispute resolution processes offered within the Wikipedia Community. BD2412
Note: If you are visiting to express concerns because I have edited your user page to fix a disambiguation link, please bear in mind:
I assume that you have the link there because you wish to point readers to the proper term (e.g "I speak Greek" or "I am Greek").
It makes it much easier for those of us who are cleaning up disambiguation links from articles if there are fewer user pages cluttering up the "What links here" page.
The New York discussion was pretty narrowly focused. I would not object to initiating a discussion aimed at making it general policy applicable to comparable situations in all states. bd2412T 20:02, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Thank you thank you
I'll be here all week :) I like "big" projects like that. Thanks for the barnstar. --User:WoohookittyDisamming fool! 02:24, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Ok. Understood. Alex Spade (talk) 17:55, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Good work catching that. Thanks! bd2412T 18:00, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Cross Keys, etc
I'm not very experienced with moving pages; I'm still not sure exactly what all you did to accomplish this merge. Any chance you could exercise your skill by moving Talk:Cross Keys to Talk:Cross keys? Thanks!! YBG (talk) 07:09, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

He has deleted the no ref tag on the page once, and deleted his own talk (which just tells me he has been here). He doesn't seem very interested in communicating about the issue, and more into hiding the flaws. He is new, so I try to cut him some slack, but maybe a friendly explanation on his talk page would help, to keep him from getting discouraged. I've had to tag the article, revert two of his deletions, and CSD a logo he uploaded from a radio station's website. He probably won't be all that receptive to me at this stage. Biodiversity of New Caledonia, paleobotany forgotten
Hello, could you to work on this article, please? Biodiversity of New Caledonia. It is a very important archaic species group in Paleobotany and evolution.85.251.99.49 (talk) 08:15, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
Hatnote tip
FYI, {{Other people|Aaron Hart}} produces practically the same output as {{For|other people by this name|Aaron Hart (disambiguation)}}. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 14:23, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll use it. It is also more precise, obviously. Cheers! bd2412T 14:26, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Talk:Demographics of Greater China
Hello BD2412. Thanks for closing the move request. SchmuckyTheCat had deleted some of my comments and I have attempted to add my comment back. Jeffrey (talk) 15:34, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know. Cheers! bd2412T 15:47, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
Actually, Jeffrey had been edit-warring over his adding of inappropriate tags to the discussion for days. Despite multiple warnings and a 3RR report, he persisted and altered the discussion after closing. He's been blocked for 48 hours in response. – NULL‹talk› ‹edits› 00:15, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
Please stop the nonsense Null. That wasn't edit warring. My comments were deleted for no reason, and I have the full right to restore them. Jeffrey (talk) 18:33, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
The more you refuse to acknowledge that you were edit warring, the more likely you'll be blocked for it again in future. It's in your best interests to stop arguing and start learning. – NULL‹talk› ‹edits› 06:14, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
Pleasure, BD2412. Unfortunately it was misidentified as edit warring by those who got a political agenda. Could you help review it? Jeffrey (talk) 18:33, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
Jeffrey, having looked over the edit history of this page, and some of your other recent edits and comments (notably your interaction at User talk:EdJohnston), my impression is that you have a very strong POV regarding naming conventions for China and its subtopics, and that your interactions here reflect an effort to press this POV on Wikipedia. bd2412T 15:26, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
I just meant to restore my own comments that Schmucky and Null deleted for no reason. There's no POV issue here in this particular case. It's all about Wikiquette and disruptive behaviours. My POV is irrelevant. Jeffrey (talk) 18:45, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
Pro se
Hey, thanks for the comment on the Pro se page. To some extent, I agree with the point you make. I've got a couple of worries about the editor and the material though. The editor is almost certain a sock of User:Kay Sieverding based on timing, topic, familiarity with Wikipedia, use of court rulings over find solid secondary sources and general editing style. My worries about the material I think I mostly covered on the talk page. To a large extent, that's a common failing with Kay - she'll latch onto a particular ruling and won't go any further into it. In this specific instance, the ruling she's using was vacated when the court decided to hear the case en banc.
I know there is a lot of information about pro se in good secondary sources - law journals, legal expert blogs, new articles, etc. To a large extent, I wouldn't mind Kay returning as long as she stuck only to secondary sources and avoided the soap-boxing that will sometimes creep in with her posts. How can I best handle this? I'm somewhat worried that the entire limits section of the article will end up dominated by primary sources (specific rulings). Ravensfire (talk) 15:09, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

An old friend of yours and mind, from List of radio stations in Invercargill. He's been asking a lot of questions and I've tried to answer them. Odd in themselves. But someone brought his contribs to my attention, which has raised some comp. issues. I had asked another admin a week ago (was the suggestion of the other editor) but no reply. Could you briefly look at his talk then his contribs? Something isn't quite right, at least to two of us who have looked. His questions were followed by talkback requests on my page, so directed to me. Dennis Brown(talk) 01:16, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
His edit history seems to me to be fairly typical of a newbie figuring things out by working through those areas with which he is most familiar. bd2412T 01:56, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
It looks like he's also delving into the unfamiliar. This edit looks very peculiar. As do the series of edits to sockpupeteer template transclusions... Mojoworker (talk) 06:09, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
I think keeping an eye out is a good idea, personally. Again, it just looks "odd" to me, and my Spidey sense is tingling. Dennis Brown(talk) 00:49, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi bd2412 again. Potsdam, New York is on this month's DAB Challenge list and on 'your' villages within towns list. Can you process this one before someone goes disambiguating links to this one? Greetings LittleWink (talk) 18:31, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi. Although pickled onion or pickled cucumber could be eaten with Haslet, I think the sentence implies it's more usual to have pickled and spiced mixed veg as an accompaniment, which it is - there's no cite in the article for any of this of course. Perhaps a better dab would be to Pickling or to Relish - or to Chutney which is now not purely Indian as its article would have us believe. Best, Acabashi (talk) 10:11, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
Changed to pickling, as that will cover all possibilities. Cheers! bd2412T 15:35, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation page
Hi BD2412 – I saw you're an admin that works with disambiguation pages so I'd like your help if possible. Could you please give some input to Johnny Cash (disambiguation)? My edits have been reverted and I've put the brakes on editing there due to encroaching on WP:3RR. I've reasoned that disambiguation pages are for similarly-named articles, regardless of content, but it seems that some other editors are using this page as more like a category for Johnny Cash related topics. Thanks! matt (talk) 23:40, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Seems to have been addressed. Cheers! bd2412T 03:28, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
