Lafayette High School, located in Wildwood, Missouri, United States is a secondary school in the Rockwood School District.

Lafayette High School opened September 7, 1960,[1] in one small building in Ellisville.[2] To handle the growing student body, the school moved in 1989 to Wildwood.[1] The old school site became Crestview Middle School.

Lafayette's colors are black and white, often accented with gold. The school has received two gold stars and one blue ribbon from the U.S. Department Of Education.[citation needed]

Sports and activities include Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Wrestling, Racquetball, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Track, Cross Country, Bowling team/club, Volleyball, Swimming, Golf, Water Polo, Diving, Field Hockey, Guard, Cheer leading, Escadrille (dance team), Choir, Key Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, Latin Club, Spanish Club, French Club, German Club, JROTC (which includes Regulation and Exhibition Drill, and Cyber Patriot), Film Society, Photography Club, OSEP, Robotics, Computer Club, Earth Club, FBLA, Scholar Quiz Bowl, Thespians, Speech and Debate Team, Lafayette Christian Fellowship, Diversity Alliance, FCCLA, Anime Club, USABO, Model United Nations, Table Tennis Club, LFA, and Disc Golf Club.

Newspaper

The monthly student newspaper, The Image, has run since 1965.[3] The school's print yearbook, The Legend, is in its 48th year of publication. Since 2006, the staff has included a DVD supplement,
