Hi, just a note to let you know that we now have an sign up for the Open Scholarship Week on 19-20 July.Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 14:40, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Amru Eleraqi, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://about.me/amr.eleraqi.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Amru Eleraqi

Hello Emnamizouni,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Amru Eleraqi for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TheMagikCow (talk) 12:27, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Emnamizouni. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Selma Elloumi Rekik, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Selma Elloumi Rekik to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Arbustum (talk) 12:34, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Arbustum Thanks for the notification. I wanted to add the reference I have but apparently it doesn't go alive! http://www.tunisia-live.net/whoswho/salma-rekik/. By the way this is a translation from the French version Selma Elloumi Rekik. Best Emnamizouni (talk) 17:02, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, thank you for adding a source to your work; when writing the Reference section make sure to add the

Right. I'll do! Thanks a million :) Emnamizouni (talk) 21:56, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mohamed Omar (Media) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 00:50, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve National Day of Freedom of the Internet

Hi, I'm Yashovardhan Dhanania. Emnamizouni, thanks for creating National Day of Freedom of the Internet!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please expand the article and link it from other articles where necessary.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Yashovardhan (talk) 19:27, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article National Day of Freedom of the Internet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Noting my POV dispute on the talk page and no response to it even after 6 days, I believe its fair enough to prod this.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Yashovardhan (talk) 14:19, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dear Yashovardhan, apologies for the late reply. I just saw your mention. The article is linked to other wikipedia articles and media refrences as well. It is about the commemoration of Freedom of Internet in Tunisia.

Can you please specify what could be done to improve it ? Many thanks Emnamizouni (talk) 12:03, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Really sorry for the late reply. I checked and saw that the article has already been deleted with my expired prod. I felt that the article was mainly not written from a neutral point of view. If I re-collect correctly, it seemed politically biased. If you think I am wrong, you can tell me so and I can contact the admin who deleted it to move it to your Drafts so that you can work on it and get it back. Yashovardhan (talk) 16:00, 11 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      • Dear Yashovardhan, That's unfortunate! The article recalls two political phases in Tunisia, the cyber activism aka Censorship in Tunisia under Ben Ali and the commemoration of Zouhair Yahyaoui by the former President of the Republic Moncef Marzouki. No political views in it as it's based on facts covered by international and national media. As I already mentioned I tried to link it to other Wikipedia articles as well. It's an important day (for freedoms) to be documented on Wikipedia as a recognition. The French and Arabic versions are still online; in case you'd like to double check. I'd be grateful if you could contact the admin to get it back in my drafts to work on it. Thanks. Emnamizouni (talk) 15:00, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for clarifying. You can request a revival at WP:REFUND. An admin will take it from there. You can even request them to revive it to your drafts so that you could continue working on it. Better yet, once it's revived, go through WP:AFC. It's a great place for requesting uninvolved editors to judge your articles. So sorry for the trouble. Yashovardhan (talk) 17:43, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Also if you do go to WP:AFC, be careful of this scam which just came to my notice. Remember, no admin will ask for money to revive an article or a draft. Yashovardhan (talk) 17:49, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Help request for mapping section titles

Hi. We (the Research Team at Wikimedia Foundation) are building an algorithm that will align Wikipedia article sections across languages. For improving this algorithm we need the help of multilingual Wikipedia editors to provide true statements to the algorithm. You are contacted because based on your Babel template and/or content translation tool usage you know at least two of the following languages: ar (Arabic), fr (French), ja (Japanese), en (English), es (Spanish), ru (Russian).

(Note: by clicking the links in the following paragraph, you will be taken to Google spreadsheet.) If you'd like to help us with translating a subset of the section titles on or before 2018-05-06, please read and follow the instructions. If you see instructions in another language, please scroll down to find your preferred language. If you have questions about this message, you can contact us via Diego. Thank you! :) --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 15:49, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Leila Ben-Gacem moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Leila Ben-Gacem, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~~Cheers~~Mgbo120 19:14, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya :) Thanks for the notification. I updated the references with external sources. Best Emnamizouni (talk) 21:31, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedian of the Year

Congratulations. Great achievement! Given your interest in writing about women, you should become a member of Women in Red.--Ipigott (talk) 16:18, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much. I'm always and forever a supporter of the Women in Red, will be more than honoured to be a member of the group! Emnamizouni (talk) 16:41, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Emna (no accent!), you can become a member of Women in Red by clicking on "Join Wiki Project" at the top of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red. As for secondary sources about you, if you can provide me with links to informative newspaper articles or similar, even those in French or Arabic, I might be able to create an article about you which will stand up to the EN wiki's concerns about notability. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 14:54, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Ipigott I'm officially there now! Emnamizouni (talk) 11:35, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That's great news, Emna. A warm welcome to Women in Red. I'm glad to hear you intend to write about Tunisian women in English, French and Arabic. I can help you out with English and French but have virtually no competence in Arabic. Here, of course, we concentrate on articles in English but the project Les sans pagEs supports women's biographies in French. You might be inspired to cover some of the women on our Wikidata redlist of Tunisian women. It lists those who have articles in other languages but not yet in English. You might also find it useful to look through our Ten Simple Rules with advice on how to develop women's biographies. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 13:33, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
