Other projects
- French Wikipedia's main page fr:Wikipédia:Accueil_principal gained a "startup" animation, recognising the iconic role the former Minitel had on French telecommunications. The main page styling was also changed to 'emulate' the colors of that system, as well as displaying main pages in low-resolution pixel format, (the normal resolution could be accessed by moving a mouse over the images).
- English Wikivoyage, ever prescient of developments for the travel(l)er, presented a travel guide for Mars, as a featured destination on its main page.
