This is a list of equipment of the Romanian Armed Forces currently in service and storage.

HIMARS United States Tactical ballistic missile system 54 The Government of Romania had issued a request for 54 HIMARS launchers, which was approved by the US Congress. The approved Foreign Military Sale also included 162 GMLRS warheads, 54 ATACMS missiles, 30 LCRR practice rockets, and 24 Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems, plus 30 Humvees and logistics vehicles. In February 2018 the Romanian government approved the purchase.[76] The contract for the first 18 launchers was awarded in August 2018, with an expected completion date of 2020.[77]

Romania stated it is in talks with Portugal for this purchase. The rest could be newer versions, probably block 50/52 or 70/72, but no official details have been offered.[82]
