Tíjola is a municipality of Almería province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain.

History

In antiquity, Tíjola was the Phoenician colony of Tagilit (Phoenician: 𐤕‬𐤂𐤋𐤕‬, TGLT, or 𐤕‬𐤂𐤋𐤉𐤕‬, TGLYT).[2]
