The Synotaxidae are a spider family with 68 described species in 13 genera. It has been proposed that the family be limited to the Synotaxinae, with the Pahorinae and Physogeleninae placed in a separate family, Physogelenidae,[1] although as of October 2016[update] this has not been accepted by other sources.[2]
Distribution
Species of this family occur in Central and South America, New Zealand and Australia.
