Language MovementBengali Language Movement – The current title is ambiguous. The proposed title has been the name of the article from 2007 to 2016 after this discussion and is consistent with the title of the related Bengali Language Movement in India article. In 2016 an editor moved the article back to the pre-2007 name. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:19, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bengali language movementBengali language movement in Bangladesh – The current title is ambiguous because there in another article named Bengali language movement in India. Also proposing for the article Bengali language movement to be transformed into a disambiguation article. 103.67.156.109 (talk) 19:22, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Featured article review needed

[edit]

This article is not at FA standard. There is overquoting, grammatical issues, listiness in popular culture, a criticism section, citation overkill, a general mess from the Criticism section onwards (including See also that needs pruning), it has an expansion tag, missing translations, dubious sources (eg Shongramer Notebook), incomplete citations (eg Daily Azad, 24 May 1950), stubby paragraphs (see this section), MOS:SANDWICHing, WP:LAYOUT issues , mixed citation styles, MOS:ALLCAPS, prose issues (the first sentence in the lead is a snake) and unvetted content was merged in from other articles. Listing at WP:FARGIVEN. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:42, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

None of the mess towards the bottom of the article was in the featured version, so perhaps this is all content that was merged in later. If so, the merge was not done carefully and we no longer have an article that meets FA standards. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 21:45, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
