RogueKiller is an application for computers running under the Microsoft Windows operating system conceived to remove generic malware and advanced threads like rootkits and stubborn rogue security softwares.[2]

Overview[edit]

RogueKiller is primarily a scanner that detect and remove malware. It is also able to detects Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) as well as possible bad system modifications/corruptions bad system modifications/corruptions (PUMs). It uses a dual approach based on heuristic detection and signatures finding.

RogueKiller is available in a free version, which scans for and removes malware , and a paid version, which provides additional proprietary features.
