Hey, it may be a few weeks late, but just wanted to say congratulations, Tipisa Eagle Scout to Tipisa Eagle Scout. So, seriously, awesome accomplishment there. かんぱい! Scapler (talk) 20:57, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

Pit

I've started trying to find source's for Pit from Kid Icarus. I noticed you redirected Pit (Nintendo) and tried to bring it back with sources a while ago, so I'd be interested in your opinion. Do you know any good places to find sources, or any opinions on the idea? Discussion's here, btw. Harry Blue5 (talk) 22:32, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

I just figured that KHIII probably deserved an article, and would be of interest. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 03:45, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Kumasyun

You can't change it now, because you didn't bring it up when I first noticed it. Kumasyun is gross. Everyone knows and thinks that. The chilly habitat isn't why it has the runny nose. So do not touch Kumasyun being gross, because it is neutral. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fifteen501 (talkcontribs)

Chandelure is the romanization of "Shanderaa", and Chandelure is wrong because Shandera is not spelled "Shanderaa", like some people think. Marriland says it will be Shandera, and Serebii said Shanderaa (Chandelure) as well. Because Shanderaa is wrong, we are going to keep it "Shandera". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fifteen501 (talkcontribs) 17:37, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Done, per your request. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 15:46, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

I was, actually - the joys of tabbed browsing, I saved this edit before completing the merge. The history of your draft is now in amongst the history of Lugia, and the article itself is restored. Everything should be in order - but let me know if I missed something. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 15:51, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps there's a reason I don't do that many of these... But it works, either way. Thanks, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 15:54, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

WikiProject Fictional characters

WikiProject Fictional characters is done. It still needs an image, and I haven't tagged any articles apart from the project ones, but it's moreorless done. I've started a discussion about creating a basic design here. Harry Blue5 (talk) 16:44, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

List of fictional x

These lists were in horrible shape before I cleaned them up. The more the inclusion criteria are stretched and distorted beyond their literal meanings, the more cruft enters the list and then the more likely the entire list is to be deleted. Maybe, but I'm sure that extensive work in both copy editing and source searching will be required. Orphaned non-free image File:005Charmeleon.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:005Charmeleon.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:44, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

reply.

I guess that sort of counts as a consensus. It should have been explained that it was per that discussion. To be honest though it looks like it's got possibilities so it shouldn't be merged because of debate that it's notable. Just let the sources itself determine it's notability. And if not then it can be merged. Also see WP:Imperfect. I mean no offense between you, the editor I reverted and my other colleagues of the WikiProject. ;) Jhenderson 777 16:08, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Hello Blake, I was wondering if you'd mind if I had a tinker in this? I've got at least one more source and think it could be good-to-go with a second push. Someoneanother 19:12, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

I might take another stab at it when I've got a minute, but I'm done with it in terms of getting it ready to be released into the wild. Would you like to move it into the encyclopedia proper? Someoneanother 00:23, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:BustAMove Universe cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:BustAMove Universe cover.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Crush the Castle page

Your page on Crush the Castle sounds like a promotion of a different game: Angry Birds. You mention the latter twice on a page about a subject that has no connection to this game. Crush the Castle is a flash game and therefore in a different category to Angry Birds, though there are similarities in game play. Furthermore, the Crush the Castle games are probably the most popular and successful flash games in existence. As such they should be presented directly rather than compared to a separate game. --Tris23 (talk) 14:21, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

You mention Angry Birds in the introduction as well as in the Legacy section. The page literally begins and ends with references to that game. The introduction should give general info about the topic at hand, not state that it's an alternative to something else. The legacy section says nothing like "it's so awesome that other awesome games were modeled after it". In effect it states that this game is not as good as Angry Birds but is a free alternative if you're really desperate for something similar. I hope you're being paid for your advertisement of the Angry Bird game. As I said Crush the Castle is a very popular flash game, it's legacy is best described without comparisons to unconnected games. --Tris23 (talk) 15:11, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Also, the game's reception can't be said to be anything less than good. It has very high player generated ratings on all the sites that feature it and positive reviews from flash game reviewers. Here is a summary of the game at a very well established flash gaming site (the review is at the bottom).http://newgrounds.wikia.com/wiki/Crush_the_Castle#Reception — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tris23 (talkcontribs) 15:32, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

hi there you removed my post from wiki regarding Satoshi Tajiri i have been contacted from Games Freak inc confirming he does not have asperger syndrome. so why removed my post when i'm stating facts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coatsyuk (talkcontribs) 14:02, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I removed your statement because it was not backed up by reliable sources. Wikipedia runs on verifiability. If a controversial statement can't be referenced to a reliable source, then we can't report on it. Your "source" holds no weight, and we have no way to confirm that they told you that. If you have no source, then this is original research, which isn't allowed. Thanks, Blake (Talk·Edits) 14:53, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

It's-a me! with a comment

Like I once said, I'm virtually unspoiled in terms of the new Pokemon; I don't know more than the full species list tells me. Give me the facts: are there 646 or 649 Pokemon total? Finalius (Say what?) 12:32, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

There are 649, but that includes 3 event Pokemon which won't be revealed officially until a later date, when the events happen in Japan. Blake (Talk·Edits) 13:31, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
OK. Last time, when the 4th gen was revealed, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus were on Wikipedia with the others, but apparently Genesect (the only one of the 3 I know of) and the two others are not. Why? Finalius (Say what?) 23:23, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Because Ryulong threw a fit about it not being "reliably sourced". See Talk:List of Pokémon (599–646)#Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect. Thanks, Blake (Talk·Edits) 01:35, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Do you believe that if brought to FAC, that any image aside from the box art would be able to have a strong enough fair use rationale? The box art depicts the characters and artistry, and two gameplay images would be very excessive. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 01:54, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Yes two gameplay images might be excessive. That is why I only added back one. Box art has nothing to do with in-game art. The graphical move from portable to console is important to show. Blake (Talk·Edits) 01:57, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
Upon further inspection, I accidentally removed the overhead gameplay image. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 01:57, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
