I want Your Help For Uploading Pictures On WikimediaDb135 (talk) 05:32, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You usually can use the same account you have here and the Upload Wizard at Wikimedia Commons, which is owned by the same company that owns Wikipedia. --I dream of horses@ 06:09, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok but the problem is with copyright version. The pictures I was uploading was being deleted because of copyright version.Db135 (talk) 06:17, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you can justify fair use (most likely, you can't), you can use the upload wizard here, instead. --I dream of horses @ 06:22, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How Can I justify Fair Use?Db135 (talk) 06:26, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If fair use is the only way to illustrate the article with an image, it's justifiable. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 18:54, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dilwale (soundtrack) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. The song "Soch Na Sake" from the movie Airlift, composed by Amaal Mallik, is sung by Arijit Singh, Tulsi Kumar & Amaal Mallik. The song "Dil Cheez Tujhe Dedi" from the same movie, is a duet of Arijit Singh & Ankit Tiwari. Again, the title track of the movie Sanam Re, has voices of both Arijit & Anirudh Bhola. Copy and paste move

[edit]

Hi there. Okay, so you made something called a "copy and paste move", when you took the contents at Untitled Anand L Rai film and pasted them at Zero (film). This is not how we move content around at Wikipedia. The problem largely is that there was an ample history of edits made at the former article, and you've moved the net of those contributions to another place, but now there is no way to track the full contribution history, which we would need to do per our copyright guidelines. Does that make sense? I know that you know how to move an article, because you did it here in 2015. If you were not able to move the article because a redirect already existed at the target, you should have asked an administrator for help, (for instance at WP:AN) not performed the copy/paste move. Now this will have to be fixed, and the contribution histories merged. I'll look into that. Please be careful next time, and note that *any time* you copy content from one Wikipedia article to another, you would have to provide some form of attribution. See Copying Within Wikipedia. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:50, 1 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of ICC T20 World Cup records, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Warner (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi

[edit]

Just a quick word on any cricket lists that are created. Please make sure there is enough information avaliable to make a list. Your recent addition of ICC World Test Championship records and List of ICC World Test Championship centuries is far too premature. A good few matches will need to be completed before records for either can be added. And I'd imagine that the list of centuries will end up not being retained, even with substantial centuries scored, as we don't maintain a list of Test/ODI centuries as the lists would become far too large, instead they are divided by the players scoring them - usually as a rule-of-thumb 25 centuries are required before a player gets a list. Hope this helps. StickyWicket (talk) 23:02, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@AssociateAffiliate: I'm okay with the deletion of the article List of ICC World Test championship records, It can be made after few matches are played. But I believe the list of centuries should be made, if not now then after few more matches. As ICC has given Test Cricket something similar to World Cup of limited overs cricket, I think it's good to make a list of centuries and as only 71 matches will be played in each edition (3 years span), so it will not be a lot, and trust me Test cricket is tough so there will not be many centuries, but I agree to not making the list right now, I hope I've proven my point clearly.
