Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Juan Olazábal Ramery, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vascongadas (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jaime del Burgo Torres may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Jaime del Burgo Torres with this edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. RandomAct(talk to me) 22:24, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ideario Tradicionalista has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is not, as just the translated reprint of a document, a suitable W{ article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dibujos e imágenes

¡Hola! Names in Catalan or Basque

[edit]

Hello, my friend. I left a coment on the talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Maurici_de_Sivatte_i_de_Bobadilla

Why do you think it's more appropriate to write in an English article person names in Catalan, even if at that time they weren't so commonly used (except for perhaps in an exclusively Catalan context)?

I'm also a quite contrary to using spellings of place names that didn't even exist (not even in Basque) prior to the 1970s, like "Santurtzi" or "Gipuzkoa". In general, for both Catalan and Basque places, I think it would be more appropriate to use the spelling that was most commonly used at that time by foreigners, which was the Spanish spelling. What do you think?--Raderich (talk) 23:14, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Intervention in Victor Pradera

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs

[edit]

Thank you for your recent articles, including Mellismo, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

[edit]

Thank you for your recent articles, including Mellismo, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:05, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Edit-warring in Manuel Fal Conde

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Article. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Iñaki LL (talk) 19:51, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copy-paste move

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give User:Dd1495/sandbox a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Cesáreo Sanz Escartín. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cesáreo Sanz Escartín, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liberal Party (Spain). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:Peman.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Peman.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs

[edit]

Thank you for your recent articles, including Traditionalism (Spain), which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

[edit]

Thank you for your recent articles, including Traditionalism (Spain), which I read with interest. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:11, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My attention was drawn to some superior articles you have created, such as Jesús Evaristo Casariego Fernández-Noriega and Román Oyarzun Oyarzun. Accordingly I have granted you the Autopatrolled userright. If you prefer that you not have this userright because you want your articles to continue to be reviewed by New Page Patrollers (or for any other reason) let me know, and I will revert. Dalmacio

[edit]

Hello,

I am from Spain, and Dalmacio Iglesias García and I are relatives. I am trying to find some information about him, but there is not a lot I can find, apart from the Wikipedia article you contributed to. Can you help me find some information about him? Is there any sources you know where I can find information?

Thanks in advance. Wittyduck (talk) 15:58, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Wittyduck. Very nice to hear from you. When publishing biographic entries on Wikipedia I usually try to provide links to all sources of information I have used. It was also the case of Dalmacio Iglesias. There is no source which I am aware of but I have not used. Hence, you can find all sources of my info in footnotes to the Wikipedia entry. Sorry to disappoint you. In case you have some meaningful new information about Dalmacio Iglesias (for instance, what sort of health problems led to his premature death) I would be grateful if you could either share with me or update the Wiki article yourself. regards, --Dd1495 (talk) 18:52, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Requetés, you may be blocked from editing. This is clearly excessive and pointy disruptive editing, and it's obvious at even a casual glance that these removals have little to do with WP:OR. Continue and you'll be blocked. -- ferret (talk) 17:37, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:COMMONNAME. "Manuel Senante" is the most common name in sources (Spanish- and, I suppose, also English-language ones). In addition to being WP:CONCISE (regarding the artificial addition of mother's surnames you can also read WP:MAIDEN), that title also happens to be WP:PRECISE enough to identify the subject within the current set of English Wikipedia articles.--Asqueladd (talk) 15:18, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
