Welcome to Wikipedia. Userbox

[edit]

In case you haven't noticed, I've put the WP:PW userbox on your userpage. Cheers, LAX 15:41, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. That's because the userbox above wasn't "completed", It didn't have |}</div> at the end. Cheers, LAX 15:47, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, what's up? --LAX 10:56, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really know. What's yours? --LAX 19:42, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yup and Yup. –LAX 02:50, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, but I hate how the match ended (with Taker's new submission finisher). –LAX 02:53, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I agree. That finisher is totally ridiculous. –LAX 03:01, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the apology.

[edit]

Hey, I say again, I accept your apology. I wasn't mad, I was more of offended because I wanted to try and to see how other people were watching the PPV. Some people thought he hit him, while others like me saw an open hand slap. It's ok. If you need anything, feel free to ask and I will do the same if I need some help.Scca8704 (talk) 22:30, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Main pics

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Main pics, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 00:29, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RfA

[edit]

Hi. This note is intended to be proactive. I'd like to prevent you from experiencing what will likely be an unsuccessful request. There will be many reasons, but the main is your lack of quantity of edits over all, and over the last several years. And your nomination statement suggesting that you know "everything" was probably not as helpful as you might have expected when you wrote it. Please consider withdrawing your nomination. - jc37 18:41, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA 2

[edit]

I am sorry, but I have closed your Request for adminship prematurely. Simply put,it had no chance of passing due to your relative lack of experience with the encyclopedia and some of your recent edits. I am sorry about this, and I hope you don't take it personally. If you continue to contribute to the project in a positive fashion, you'll improve your chances of passing a potential future RfA. You may wish to consider applying for an evaluation by other Wikipedia editors for feedback on how to obtain the necessary experience. Once you are ready to request adminship again, there is a great admin coaching program available, as well as a guide to requests for adminship.

If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! Enigma message 21:56, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: bye

[edit]

What's happened? From your archives, I'm assuming that it is your failed RFA? The Chronic 21:49, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I see. Well obviously, you've received quite a bit of rough, if not harsh, criticism in your RFA that has taken you personally. That, however, shouldn't be a reason for you to call yourself "bad and evil" and quit. You are not in any way bad and evil. The incivility issue is a black cloud over you that can be undone (figuratively, not literally) with a better understanding of the policies and guidelines and more experience. Other than that, you appear to be a good editor; like other editors, you want to help improve Wikipedia in any way you can, and you don't appear aren't hesitant to do so. Don't let the negative criticism let you down. The criticism in the RFA wasn't not meant to discourage you, but rather to let you know what you can improve in the future (though it may seem otherwise). I hope these words can help you feel better about your self-esteem. I encourage you to come back, but you prefer to stay away, that's completely understandable. Is there a point to your challenge? King iMatthew 2008 21:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then instead of telling other users to edit it, be bold and fix it up yourself, you know? King iMatthew 2008 23:31, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Dude, you have to learn to be a good editor, and just because you may not be one now, doesn't mean you should dump your work into a challenge for other people to do. Btw, please don't use my words against me Go try to edit that article, Cheers! and Happy editing! King iMatthew 2008 00:53, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm saying that it's pointless to give a challenge for something as simple as editing an article. If you'd like to edit an article, feel free to and maybe ask another user for help. If you're stuck on giving out challenges, check out WP:AWC. King iMatthew 2008 01:34, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
