Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Ekiti State (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to British
Ekiti people (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to Iju

  • Hello, Mutiat Mustapha. I saw your message on the bot's talk page. The bot isn't very talkative, though, so I'll respond. The first of the two links has already been fixed by another user, so I'll focus on the second one. In this edit, you added some links to the Ekiti people article. One of those links goes to the page Iju. If you follow the link to Iju, however, you will see that the term has several possible meanings, most of which are not relevant to an article about the Ekiti people. I assume the relevant topic is "Iju, Itaogbolu", which doesn't yet have an article written about it. So you could either help write that article, or add a link as a placeholder for a future article, or link to Akure North as the disambiguation page does (you would write [[Akure North|Iju]] in that case). I hope this helps! --R'n'B (call me Russ) 19:42, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Word count

[edit]

I need help in getting the total number of words in an article, a very easy method would do. Thanks Mutiat Mustapha (talk) 10:07, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Prose length (which is often what people really want when they talk about the number of words in an article) is one of the features of User:Shubinator/DYKcheck --Worldbruce (talk) 01:33, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hello, I'm Worldbruce. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from Olivier Vadrot. Often redlinks can be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" special link (in the Wikipedia Toolbox at left) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Redlinks are useful! Please, only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. These principles also apply to red links displayed by the {{ill}} template --Worldbruce (talk) 01:38, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requests for uncreated articles

[edit]

Greetings & a great weekend to you all. I believe it would be great if the (Requests for uncreated articles) section in our wiki project can be attended to & at least one article be created this weekend as some requests have been pending since 2016. I believe this would be pivotal to the encyclopedia as a whole & a means to get editors who have gone inactive to revive their Wikipedia activities. Sent by Celestina007. Ebere Uneze moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Ebere Uneze, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Celestina007 (talk) 21:21, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, i have moved your most recent article to Draftspace because the sources currently used aren’t sufficient to demonstrate notability could you add more sources that aren’t announcements to the article and submit it using the WP:AFC method? I also have COI concerns with this article, are you acquainted in any capacity with the subject of the article? Celestina007 (talk) 21:25, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Good evening, ma'am. I will look for sources and use the AFC channel. No, I am not acquainted in any capacity with the subject.Mutiat Mustapha (talk) 21:39, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Alright then, have you seen WP:RS yet? If not, please do, it would aid you in knowing what type of sources are required of you. Celestina007 (talk) 22:56, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'll check it out, thank you. Mutiat Mustapha (talk) 08:19, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Seyi Adisa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

An article about a Nigerian politician who doesn't pass GNG or SNG. It doesn't pass WP:NPOL.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. All the Best!
