Orphaned non-free image File:WWE SmackDown Logo 2019.svg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:WWE SmackDown Logo 2019.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:13, 29 September 2019 (UTC)

COVID-19 pandemic in the post-Soviet states
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into COVID-19 pandemic in the post-Soviet states. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. --John B123 (talk) 18:30, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
The article COVID-19 pandemic in the post-Soviet states has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The Soviet Union ceased to exist nearly three decades before the COVID-19 pandemic, and it doesn't make sense to have an article which consists of a list of ex-Soviet countries and summarises the pandemic in these countries.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Xwejnusgozo (talk) 10:56, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

China-Taiwan articles case request declined
[edit]The arbitrators have voted to decline the case request you filed, China-Taiwan articles, for reasons including it being a content dispute and because previous conduct dispute resolution had not been attempted. Arbitration is the last step in the dispute resolution process. Arbitration cases are lengthy (usually 1 month in length) and as such less time consuming dispute resolution such as at the talk page, at the dispute resolution noticeboard, or at the administrator's incidents noticeboard is worthwhile to try first. You can view the declined case request in this permalink. For the Arbitration Committee, Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 08:23, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Standard Chinese. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

[edit]You've made changes like the one to Beijing several times, which have now been reverted several times. At some point, this behavior is considered disruptive. On high-attention pages, there is very often a reason things are listed the specific way they are. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Request reason:
Hi I wasn't aware, but how do I get unblocked by any chance? Sorry I was largely busy, but I actually want to settle this like fellow Wikipedians. The reason I edited the Taitung County article is because you're not aware the ROC has eight first level provincial subdivisions, albeit two of them are non-functional. If I am indefinitely blocked, what will I do in the meantime? Could I walk away from Wikipedia or get involved in another Wikimedia project?
However, I would also request for a 2nd chance in order to improve my Taiwan-related articles. I admit that my edits to Taiwan-related articles including Taoyuan, Taiwan are poorly edited wrong but I nearly have lost my faith to the Wikipedia community. I even failed to show my trust to everyone involved. If that proposal is denied, I would try using a standard offer as mentioned above and come back when I am ready. --Silence of Lambs (talk) 23:59, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You may edit another Wikimedia Foundation project where you are not blocked.
