Thanks for creating this. Not all mayors are notable, but one the mayor of a city as large as Seattle should be. All articles need refs though, and the WP:BURDEN is on the creator to add them. Can you please go back and work on this? Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 06:38, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Tex Sanner has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable subject, fails WP:NSPORTS and WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The article János Volner has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ways to improve Dušan Šinigoj[edit]

Hi, I'm Nick Moyes. TridentMan123, thanks for creating Dušan Šinigoj!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Sinigoj is clearly notable, but this page is liable to ber deleted as an unsourced WP:BLP, which would be a shame. You can find sources quickly by looking here: https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Du%C5%A1an_%C5%A0inigoj

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Please stop making short, unsourced biographies[edit]

Please will you cease creating very short, unreferenced pages about living people? (see here) This goes against Wikipedia's policies. If you can't be bothered to find references and make even a short stub that's worth reading and is verifiable, it's not worth doing at all. These unsourced WP:BLPs are simply going to be deleted, and I see no reason why other editors should trail after you making good your failure too create even a basic, sourced article. These people do look to be notable to me, so it would be a shame for them to go. Why not create one draft article first, get it up to standard, and then move it into mainspace before working on another. I appreciate you want to contribute here, and that's great. But this isn't the way to go about doing that. Regards from the UK, Nick Moyes (talk) 13:38, 2 May 2018 (UTC)  [reply]

Hi. I've moved your article to Draft:Shir Ahmad for you to work on. Some of your articles could get deleted altogether unless you take the above advice. Deb (talk) 13:55, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Deaths in August 2017, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Barry Myers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). An article you recently created, Richard Southgate (Chief of Protocol), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Chiefs of protocol[edit]

Hi you have recently created a lot of articles on chiefs of protocol. Please read the notability criteria for people WP:NPEOPLE as most do not have the required coverage in sources to pass the notability criteria. There is no inherant notabilty in being chief of protocol so you should only be creating the articles about those that have sufficient coverage to pass. Please note that just obituries are not enough to show notability in general. I shall move those that only have primary coverage and no claims to meeting specific criteria notabilty to draft space to allow you time to source these people. --Dom from Paris (talk) 10:35, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

February 2019[edit]

To enforce an arbitration decision and for trolling [2], you have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks. You are welcome to edit once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block or other sanctions.

If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Please copy my appeal to the [[WP:AE|arbitration enforcement noticeboard]] or [[WP:AN|administrators' noticeboard]]. Your reason here OR place the reason below this template. ~~~~}}. If you intend to appeal on the arbitration enforcement noticeboard I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page. Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 15:39, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."

Said Abeid moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Said Abeid, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, TridentMan123. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Richard Southgate".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 08:27, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
