Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Major Blue Air requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Copying within Wikipedia[edit]

Hello Alvorado: Per Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia, please be sure to provide attribution when copying content from articles into other articles. Here is an example of how to do so (diff). Thank you for your work to improve Wikipedia. North America1000 08:35, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of List of defunct airlines of Angola[edit]

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MusaTalk 20:56, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Defunct airlines[edit]

Why are you removing the defunct category, transport related lists category? Putting defunct airlines in the Category:Lists of airlines by country just bloats that category and sorts them under L for lists. In all it makes it much harder to find them. The Category:Lists of defunct airlines should be, and now is, a subcategory of Category:Lists of airlines by country. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 12:01, 28 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give List of airlines of Peru a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of defunct airlines of Kingdom of Bahrain. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of defunct airlines of Bahrain. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of defunct airlines of Bahrain. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of defunct airlines of the Caribbean requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Notice

The article List of defunct airlines of Republic of the Marshall Islands has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Completely unnecessary. A "list" of one item that's apparently not notable enough for its own article. I would have recommended a speedy deletion but couldn't find an appropriate criterion for this case.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Flag icons in articles in articles "List of defunct airlines of XXX" and space between references[edit]

Hi, please read up on MOS:FLAG before inserting flag icons into main article. Generally flag icons are to be inserted into infobox or to distinguish the country from a list of countries. An article "List of XXX country's airlines" do not need their own flag icon shown in their main page besides their own name. Also, for multiple citations, please remove the space in between citations. Thanks --Xaiver0510 (talk) 01:38, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of defunct airlines of Republic of Panama, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page APA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

List of defunct airlines of American Samoa[edit]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to List of defunct airlines of American Samoa, please make sure that the category page actually exists. In some cases, it may be appropriate to create a new category in accordance with Wikipedia's categorization guidelines, but it is usually better to use the most specific available existing category. It is never appropriate to leave a page categorised in a non-existent category, i.e. one whose link displays in red. Thank you. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:11, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

He doesn't own wikipedia. The list of airlines of Portugal is wrong. TAP does not fly to some destinations - Abidjan, Conakry, Cape town, Algiers etc. So it should update and not delete. Alvorado (talk) 14:15, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will no longer contribute to wikipedia. But I inform you that many of the destinations of the airlines are incorrect. I don't trust Wikipedia. I am a subscriber to reliable aviation sites.
