Speedy deletion of By this Axe, I rule[edit]

A tag has been placed on By this Axe, I rule requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. AfD nomination of By this Axe, I rule[edit]

An editor has nominated By this Axe, I rule, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/By this Axe, I rule and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:29, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Redjack[edit]

Hi there Mavericstud9! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, Redjack. This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD G3. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:Redjack, administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. Romulus and Remus[edit]

You have added a significant amount of material on Romulus and Remus, some of it useful, but some of it of low quality. I suggest you read the welcome page at Wikipedia:Welcoming committee/Welcome to Wikipedia PatGallacher (talk) 17:23, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Romulas and Remus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Very poor quality article created by a user who is something of a loose cannon, this film already has a better article at Romolo e Remo.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. PatGallacher (talk) 17:54, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Yag Kosha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

The article Two Against Tyre has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No notable sources could be found

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your contributed article, Pink Panther jewel[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Pink Panther jewel. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - The Pink Panther. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at The Pink Panther - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page. I did.Although I think my pages covers more the jewel, than the movies.I'm still looking more on the actual diamond itself

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. LordPistachio talk 19:34, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Red Sonja[edit]

Please do not add uncited material or solicitations for donations to Wikipedia articles, as you did with these edits to Red Sonja, something for which you have already been previously warned and blocked. Wikipedia requires that all material added to articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. Wikipedia is not a place for you to argue your personal point of view.

In addition, if you cannot be bothered to use the preview function or review your edits in order to effect proper spelling, spacing between words, sentence structure, or even place periods at the end of sentences, and are only capable of additions like this, then you need to rethink whether you're qualified to edit an encyclopedia. Hi. Please do not add unsourced material to articles, as you did with this edit to , as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. Speedy deletion nomination of Whiz Wagon[edit]

Hello Mavericstud9,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Whiz Wagon for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Cmckain14 (talk) 01:46, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Keeyah[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Keeyah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Valley of the Dragons (1961), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.watchfreemovies.ch/watch-movies/1961/watch-valley-of-the-dragons-144782/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Hello Mavericstud9,

Stopping by on a courtesy visit to let you know that I have made some additions and cleanup to your recent article on the 1965 movie "Adventure at the Center of the Earth". Mostly adding wikilibnks, image and references. I also made some copyedits and cleaned up the cast section.

Perhaps if you have some time you could pop back over and take a look in case I got anything wrong.

Many thanks for you work, kindest regards, (MrNiceGuy1113 (talk) 06:32, 2 September 2013 (UTC))[reply]

Copyvio[edit]

Hey, I had to delete one of your entries because it was a copyvio of a few sources. I recommend re-writing articles to be in your own writing rather than copy and pasting onto WP, as that's something that we have to delete. I know it's frustrating, but you can't just cut and paste. If you need any help on recommendations on how to re-write things, let me know. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:51, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violations—Please Read[edit]

Maveric,

I don't know if you are seeing these messages or not, but you need to understand that copying material from other websites without explicit authorization is not permitted on Wikipedia. You cannot copy blog posts, item descriptions from stores, or pages from other wikis. Even if you change around some of the words and add wiki formatting, it is still owned by the website it came from, and Wikipedia will get into trouble for it. I have posted several warnings to your talk page about the articles you have created. Other users and robot crawlers have tagged your articles as copyright violations and in several cases you have removed the notices without fixing the problems. Tokyogirl posted a very polite message here and you seem to have ignored it. Please stop doing this. Some of your contributions have been helpful, like when you add wiki links or write sentences in your own words. I would like to see you continue to contribute here. However, if you continue to copy material from other websites I will have to report you to the administrators, and you will be blocked from editing on Wikipedia.

The article Acheron Empire has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant English-language coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Acheron Empire for deletion[edit]
