You deserved a barnstar if I did. Nonetheless, I hope you'll accept my sincere thanks - work's so much lighter when it is shared, and I agree that behind-the-scenes work on something as valuable as the RD is satisfying for its own sake. There are many who don't seem to appreciate what a welcome the RD can be to many users (I've seen comments at Village Pump etc), yet I'll bet there are a fair number of new editors who make their first steps on the RD, then move to content (hard to track if that shift is accompanied by creation of a username). Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest

I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. I suppose, but they're really not very good (shot with an iPhone camera) and their use is limited because they haven't been properly identified yet. I would retake the shots with a proper camera, but my daughter turned the tooth in to the school office. Comment on the Gazetteer Idea

There is, of course, the "political" problem that if you propose more than one of these things at a time (e.g. schools and places) the opposition to the concept doubles as the two interest groups support each other. @Baseball Bugs: I didn't like doing that, but it just doesn't stop. I don't know if it's all from a single user, but there seems to be an ongoing issue with IPs requesting better understanding of the internal motivations of movie characters. Prakash and Thambi are [F-A-Holes Criminals along With their Henchmen] terrorizing the City, but 1 day, Thambi gets into fight with [Pardhoo main hero a tourist from a different city].

Pardhoo kills Thambi hilariously, but Pardhoo finds out later about Thambi's death.

Pardhoo should not apologize to Prakash because Prakash is a goon.

When Pardhoo apologizes to Prakash, Prakash probably says, "I did not expect you to have courage to come straight to my place but I still want to kill you."
