Looking for collaboration in article "David Gonzalez"

Hi, I wrote this article by a multi-faceted New York artist that is now in draft format: Draft:David Gonzalez (multi-disciplinary artist). The article is part of Wikiproject arts, WikiProject Children's literature, and WikiProject Biographies.

I respectfully ask if anyone can help me in making the wording neutral.  The most important reference is an article from the NYT. https://www.nytimes.com/1999/02/12/movies/orpheus-as-a-charmer-with-a-sax.html can also be viewed here:                  Thank you very much   Miskito89 (talk) 15:41, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

FAR for Sex Pistols

I have nominated Sex Pistols for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regards to the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Hog Farm Talk 00:43, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jonathan Karp

Hello! On behalf of American book editor, publisher, and writer Jonathan Karp, I've submitted a few edit requests to update his biography. One of the requests is about crediting him for his contributions to a selection of specific books, based on multiple reliable sources.

Are any project members able to take a look at the ongoing discussions? Thanks in advance for any feedback or article updates! Inkian Jason (talk) 17:01, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Potential AfD for biog article

Biog of Nicolas Sarkis appears to be promoting his book and little else. I can't see what makes the subject notable. The article refers to his book as his 'first' but he has no other publications. There is little that comes up on a search of his name. The biog is mainly sourced from his publisher's website, other citations are dead or deprecated links (one to Bloomberg is generic and takes you to current news). Repetition used to create headings. I will tag it soon if there's no objections. Thelisteninghand (talk) 16:27, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An RM that will be of interest to editors here. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:22, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How to deal with SPA biography editors

How to deal with users convinced (in over 100 edits) that everyone is of a certain nationality, sometimes even in direct contradiction to the sources? It's not wrong enough to be obvious vandalism and there are useful edits as well, but it's wrong often enough to be disturbing. --mfb (talk) 07:52, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Signups open for The Core Contest

The Core Contest—Wikipedia's most exciting contest—will take place this year from April 15 to May 31. The goal: to improve vital or other core articles, with a focus on those in the worst state of disrepair. Editing can be done individually, but in the past groups have also successfully competed. There is £300 of prize money divided among editors who provide the "best additive encyclopedic value". Signups are open now. Cheers from the judges, Femke, Casliber, Aza24.

If you wish to start or stop receiving news about The Core Contest, please add or remove yourself from the delivery list.

Living people articles with talk pages, but no WP:BIOGRAPHY tag

Here's an SQL query that trivially finds living people pages that have talk pages but are not tagged as being under WP:BIOGRAPHY: https://quarry.wmcloud.org/query/72401

I hope this is useful. — The Anome (talk) 16:28, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Robert Wiedemer has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Has failed WP:N for 10.23 years. After cleanup and reconstitution, I found little else to support an article, and what I did failed WP:RSP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Fourthords | =Λ= | 14:17, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
