Lego City was first known as Lego town, moved on to LegoLand, then World City, and now City. The theme being redesigned in 2004 the first City sets were released in 2005. The first set being 10159 Airport which was once in 2004 under a different theme. Lego sets are varied. some sub themes are: police, trains, fire, airport, hospital, and the seasonal Advent Calendars. Since 2005 there was never a year when Lego City wasn't produced. The Lego Space Theme will be revived in mid-2011.
Sets
Many sets have been launched since 1978. The boxes have been redesigned over and over while the visualization also got more realistic. (more information needed) Lego has also gotten bigger over the years and also more involved. Lego City is now a popular lego set for all ages.
