Deleting Wikipedia Templates
Dear Bulwersator.
Can I ask what criteria you are using when selecting which templates to nominate for speedy deletion? The only reason I am asking this is because you seem to have nominated almost all of the templates in the Templates for Discussion section this month.
Regards Dreamweaverjack (talk) 05:12, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- Speedy deletion? Templates from Wikipedia:Database reports/Unused templates that pass speedy deletion criteria: spam, vandalism, obvious duplication, + incident with meta/shortname & meta/abbrev remplates (example). I am using twinkle, so you can check my contributions limited to user talk and search for "Notification: speedy deletion nomination of Template:" Bulwersator (talk) 06:42, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi, you left some comments at Wikipedia:SOPA initiative/Action#US only under the section regarding actions being US only. Not long after you left your comments, the section was modified and more options added [1] which is more or less how things remain. I'm just writing to let you know, in case you're not aware of this and want to change you response in light of it. Nil Einne (talk) 14:16, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Your input is needed on the SOPA initiative
Hi Bulwersator,
You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.
Thank you.

Stop it now!
Stop nominating images I have created for deletion when they are linked to unfinished pages in user space and are clearly marked as required for future use in an article. Giacomo Returned 09:33, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
List of images of mountains
Hi Bulwersator, First of all, thank you for the list you have prepared, it is a great idea. I started to insert mountain images on the french wikipedia but then I recognized that their are probably two mistakes: the Grand Bérard would be the Mont Thabor and the Dome de Rochefort seems to be the Aiguille de Rochefort. I'm trying to understand the situation with this image, so I thought I'll ask you since you were the one who put it for deletion. It is definitely in the PD in Israel, where it was taken. It was published by the Israeli government in the National Photo Gallery, and we have a letter from the legal council of the Prime Minister's office verifying this status. However, even the Israeli government cannot change the past, and so they cannot make it enter the PD earlier than it did. All they can do is verify that indeed it was released to the PD in 1999. It is therefore not in the PD in the US. Am I understanding this absurd situation correctly? --Muhandes (talk) 12:59, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

DRV
A notification that the Templates for Discussion discussion (oy, repetition) has been taken to a deletion review discussion. The Article Rescue Squadron was notified, and as notifications to previous involved parties isn't normal practise, I and a few ARS members agreed that, in the interests of transparency and fairness, we should let everyone know...hence this talkpage message ;).
If anyone has an issue with me sending these out, do drop me a note on my talkpage. Regards, Ironholds (talk) 10:29, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
You have been awarded
the seldom coveted THUMBS UP AWARD for your tireless sifting through the morass of images that wikipedia is constantly being assaulted with, sorting the chaff from the grain and tossing out what does not belong. Even when that includes some fine images of mine. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 16:15, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

Possibly Unfree
Dear Bulwersator, you nominated all of the photos I uploaded on the Garfield statues page as "possibly unfree." I have been all through this before. Originally, the pictures were posted on Wikimedia Commons and I argued that the statues are in public view, in plain sight. Therefore, copyright is no longer enforceable, thus void. This reasoning did not hold over the long run. Consequently, the images are no longer on Wikimedia Commons; they are on the Wikipedia servers physically hosted in the U.S. As such, U.S Copyright Law specifically applies, and a Fair Use claim has been filed for each of the images I uploaded. If you have an objection to any point of the Fair Use claim, please specify what that complaint is. If someone has moved the images back to Wikimedia Commons, this was done inappropriately.

- I took a look at the pictures at Garfield statues and most of them are claimed to be in the public domain, which is not correct since they are derivative works of copyrighted statues. Since they are currently wrongly tagged, I would have reported them as unfree if I had seen them myself. According to WP:NFCC criterion 10, fair use images have to be properly marked. Also note that the article fails criterion 3a: "Multiple items of non-free content are not used if one item can convey equivalent significant information." It should be possible to use one photo in the article (or maybe two) but definitely not all of them. --Stefan2 (talk) 17:52, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

Most of the pages I checked (I started from the top) had images in the infoboxes. It might be time to re-run that page. Sven Manguard Wha? 20:20, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited 1999 Southern Brazil blackout, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paraná (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your input request at RfC
As a previous contributor to the discussion, I wanted to let you know that a motion has been made to close the recent RfC and implement some of the ideas with regards to labeling and usage.
